We had a one bedroom with oceanfront view. The villa was clean and maintained well. The entire staff was friendly, courteous and helpful with directions. The only drawback is if you are handicapped their are stairs to either your villa or to get to the beach. Also there is an energy surcharge per day. The wi-fi had poor signal in the villa, but accessible at the front desk area.

This was a nice hotel with a private beach. The day I wore a thong at the beach I had no problems. I didn't go up to the pool so I can't say how it would have been up there, but probably no one would have said anything. There is decent snorkeling at either end of the hotel beach area and plenty of space to explore.

My husband and I just spent two weeks at Bluebeard's Beach Club. We are Wyndham Owners. We stayed in a loft unit. It was most accommodating for the two of us. No noise whatsoever from other units and the view from our balcony was spectacular. Each morning we watched the Cruise Ships arrive! The beach is one of the best I've encountered, soft sand and beautiful, clear, warm water. There is a tide pool area off to one end which is like soaking in your own private hot tub! The pool bar was ... Read more

The staff has been very nice, rooms are very clean. There is a dive shop on site and they offer dive lessons and dive trips. The swim up pool bar is really cool and the bartender does off food with your drinks. There is a small convenience store on site for items you may need. Only think there is no free WiFi, there is a small fee for that.

We stayed at the blue beard beach club and the service was great, the facility was very clean and well maintained. For transportation we used Mr. Nice guy he was extremely knowledgable about the islands and gave great advice on where to go and what to do while we were there, his van is clean and he keeps it nice and cool in there. I highly recommend him for your transportation while you are there, he really is a nice guy.

We stayed at Bluebeard's Beach Club for 4 nights, 5 days. THE GOOD: The beds are really comfortable. The pool is nice and so are the grounds. They have bridges over crab areas to keep you and the crabs from getting hurt. There are lots of trees, beach chairs that are free to use and even a couple hammocks. There is also an outdoor grill area available to use, an onsite market and an onsite rental house with kayaks, snorkel gear, etc. It is a very quiet and relaxing area which is a big plus wit... My wife and I stayed at Bluebeard's for 6 nights in May/June 2016 using her Uncle's timeshare. I wasn't sure what to expect before our trip, as the TA reviews appeared to be mixed. However, I would definitely recommend this spot for anyone looking for a quiet, go at your own pace escape right on the beach. Anyone expecting the four seasons will undoubtedly be disappointed...that is not what you get at Bluebeard's. But you really cannot be the tranquility and location anywhere else on the island.... My hubby & I stayed here for our 10th wedding anniversary and loved it. The room had a comfy bed, was clean and the beach was great (clear water, lots of fish 'habitat') We snorkeled almost everyday. There are a few things that could be improved upon - resort needs a restaurant onsite & more activities (Ping-Pong, anyone ?) Room issues were the steps right by front door, no mat inside to clean sand off feet, no dishwasher plus I didn't love the bathroom just off the kitchen. Take quarters if you... Read more

Good beach, good pool/bar (but closes at 8), restaurant closed/remodeling, nothing within walking distance (even if you were brave enough), rooms nice enough, no made service during entire week (not sure if you have to ask, but we didn't), "due to water conditions" very little water sport equipment was available to rent (varies by season, apparently) but nonetheless closes at 4 (may vary by season), friendly people all over, in general. Definitely didn't expect alot of stairs.. but they were there.. overall the place is really nice. But once again if you got off of your flight tired, then you definitely would like to rest a bit before checking into your room. The pool was really nice with a view overlooking the small harbor.. and the restaurant was amazing... Great food, great bar drinks and everyone was very friendly..

This is the third time we have been to Bluebeard's and the rooms have been renovated. The club has a nice kidney shaped pool with a swim-up bar. The beach along the property is nice and quiet with lots of lounge chairs, 3 cabanas, and 3 hammocks. The beach is never really busy and offers great views of cruise ships coming in and out. The property is close to town and at the end of the road so it is nice and quiet. There is a small store on site for last minute needs and is a slice of paradise. W... Read more

First, you must have a car if you want to explore, eat, ect. I do not like being at mercy of Taxis. But, make sure you understand the skills of driving on the left side from the left side of the car. It can take a bit as this is different from almost every other left side Island as you usually drive from the right side of car. Remember the cars need to meet U.S. crash requirements. Now the resort. Sprawling. Clean. Every walk is a good cardio workout, beach is isolated and no locals. Far enough ... Read more

The resort is very nice, clean and quiet. It has a water sports center and a pool with a pool bar that offers great drinks and some lighter fare food. My wife and I traveled here for a belated honeymoon. The resort is beautiful. The room was perfect. The pool bar was friendly and fun. The only bummer was that the on-site restaurant was closed, so the only food available was the little grocery store (very expensive) and paninis at the pool bar. And the only place that delivers is Dominoes, which took an hour and wasn't remotely hot. The private beach is not crowded at all, so it was quiet and relaxing. We visited several beaches while here. This beach had the best gentle surf, clearest water (no kelp and a few smooth rocks with sea grass growing on them), reefs on either side for snorkeling, and great sand. The hotel is older but the layout is good. The pool bar is fabulous, Limetree Bar and Grill with great drink prices and great hot dogs and sandwiches. The Wyndham concierges were extremely helpful and kind.
