We have stayed at Elysian many times , the pool is large and great for the kids , quaint little beach next to the yacht club. Rent a car , taxis get expensive , we also ordered food from a place down the road that delivers called Señor Pizza , it was Fantastic ! Cheers !

Stayed with our family and was very disappointed with unit 50. We have stayed here before and were very happy, but apartment 50 is shabby and in need of quite a bit of maintenance. Air-conditioners are noisy and kept coming on and off all night long. Drapes don't close and are filthy. Bathroom sink drains very very slowly.

My husband and I stayed at the Elysian Beach Resort from April 30 - May 7. Everything about the resort was great. Clean rooms, nice beach, pool and restaurants. The staff were always nice and accommodating.Yes there are alot of stairs from the beach/pool to the second row of rooms. If it's too much to walk, then try to drive down. Shout out to Zooguyisle who showed us around St. Thomas. I did not want to leave and want to go back as soon as I can. I will definitely stay at Elysian again.

Our room was clean and small with a partial view. Stairs everywhere outside. Hotel on steep hill so you can walk or call the front desk for a shuttle (which arrives right away) to take you to the pool or front desk or laundry room or restaurants. You can also drive down. Lots of parking. The on site restaurant "Melt" is a waste of money. Food not good and luke warm. The other restaurant "Caribbean Fish Market" was wonderful. Try the Tamarind Calamari, delicious!!!! Best Mahi Fish Tacos or Mahi Sandwich. Super fresh ingredients and great coleslaw. Can eat at bar or on the beach! Designated large swim area and open snorkel areas. Located to Red Hook and Ritz Carlton.

We have a timeshare and have been coming here for over 15 years. This year the staff is at it lowest. Two days without clean towels - you turn in daily beach towels and get clean ones; not this year. Two days without clean towels. Staff does not seem interested in the problem or fixing the problem. Pool is nasty; every morning trash everywhere and debris in pool. Watched at least two workers walk through the pool and walk past trash and debris. They are marketing this for a wedding get away... I... Read more

The condo was about a C-, the staff was lazy, the lady at the front desk never answers the phone. I booked one year in advance and all our 6 condos were spread all over the place. I called 1 month before to confirm that we would all be together, and they were not. The gift store says OPEN, but for the 7 days we were there, not one day were they open. A 4 person sleeper, only comes with a queen bed. They took us on a tour to margaritaville, then I felt I was really staying in a dump.

We stayed here over July 4th week for our family vacation (2 boys ages 17 and 21). Even though we ended up with a room on the upper tier (away from the beach), our room and amenities were great. We had 2 rooms that adjoined, which was nice with 5 people (my sister joined us). Both rooms had a fabulous view of the ocean. The rooms were recently updated with granite and other modern features. It was a little walk to the beach area, but not too bad (several stairs). The restaurants were fine... Read more

We had a family of 5 staying in 2 rooms that had a connecting door. Positives: our rooms were great and were nicely remodeled. We were not bothered by any timeshare presentation requests, which was a great change from staying at resorts in Mexico. The pool and beach are beautiful. They have movies that you can check out so we were able to watch a family movie after dinner each night. Negatives: we never had housekeeping come to our room over the week we were there. We had to go down to the re... Read more

My husband and I just returned home from 12 days at the Elysian Resort! The staff were just amazing! The two restaurants and pool bar served excellent food and the bay that the resort sits on (Cowpet Bay) was beautiful! We couldn't be happier with the Resort! Tiffany at the front desk and Mike D. were friendly and happy to answer any questions and do all the planning from excursions from cabs! What a fabulous experience!

Used a buddies time share for our stay here and the hotel is adequate, but there's likely better resorts available on St Thomas. There are two restaurants which we chose not to dine at, a small pool with a detached bar and the beach isn't all that great and open to the public like most beaches on the island. It is close to the ferry dock for St Johns and Red Hook which has a few nice dining options and bars. Room service only came once over our seven day stay...

The grounds of this resort are beautiful. Tiffany at the front desk is the Best! She kept us eating well and she was a delight to see regularly. Our unit needed a little work but it didn't stop us from having a good time. Our front door didn't set well in the door frame and it required us to use a little latch lock to seal the door in the frame. The room was clean and the bedding looked fresh. I always make it a habit to pull the bedding over and down to observe the sheets. The toilet had a lit... Read more

We stayed at the Wyndham resort and it was a nice place with beautiful views and private beach area. The two restaurants had good food and were convenient. The staff was super helpful and nice. They recommended great activities and restaurants that made our experience even better. There were some fun activities on property that got us together with other guests and we made some friends that we hung out with a few times on the trip.

Great resort to stay at- We stayed in a 1 bedroom with a mini kitchen that had everything we needed. The beach area and hotel grounds were very nice, as well as the restaurants on site were very good to eat at. The location of the resort was also a very easy drive to Red Hook- We drove about every night to a different bar. Very pleased with the resort and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to stay here!

My husband and I stayed there for five days and four nights. The staff was AWESOME!! Tiffany made sure we were well taken care of and Mike made sure we always had an itinerary that was full of fun and leisure. The room was nice with a view of the ocean. We used it mostly for sleeping due to the fact that the beach was connected to the resort! The Sangria restaurant was okay. They have great jerk wings that my husband loved. We will definitely come back again. We had a great time!

We had our stay through Worldmark and enjoyed an updated Studio with full kitchen. The room had plenty of room and the murphy bed was actually comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We would stay here again in a heartbeat! There are many stairs to the place - but don't let this deter you, think of it as burning those extra mai tai calories away! Beware that like most places on the island, you do need to taxi everywhere or if your extremely BRAVE rent one!

We stayed at the Elysian Beach resort the last week in July. We enjoyed the proximity to the beach. The facilities were nice and room was very clean and up to date. The beach bar at the resort was nice during the day but I would suggest heading for Redhook on a nightly basis for dinner. I would stay away from Sangrias at the resort and only eat at the Carribean Fish market if you want to pay a lot of $ even by St. Thomas standards.

An incredible resort! I would highly recommend this resort to those that have not experienced the charm & beauty of St Thomas!! Once you experience it ? you will definitely return with a big smile on your face! The entire staff was more than accommodating! We thoroughly enjoyed the beautifully manicured beach, pool & pool bar and especially our morning breakfast ritual at Sangria's Beachside Bistro! This resort is a group of large condos. It is also build into the side of a hill so everywhere you go around the property you will be climbing stairs! There is a lot of walking at this place unless you're lucky enough to stay right on the beach. The rooms are decent, has a very small kitchenette, large bathroom and great channels on cable! The beach area is nice and large (lots of mosquitos so bring bug spray - they're all over the island). There are two restaurants at the resort (neither be... Read more

The facilities were nice, the place we rented was a little small but we managed. The beach was just a short walk away and was actually nice. Not your typical resort beach. The pool was nice, DO NOT take a tour of the Margaritaville you will regret it. They say 90 min??, but it takes at least 4 hours, however the Coki beach a walk away was rather fun! The food is average but over average price, and the roads are tremendously bad.

We stayed here a week, our room had 2 full size beds and a fridge, coffee maker, sink, plates, fork, knives and spoons. Our bathroom was huge. The beds were really comfortable as where the pillows. The air conditioner was set at 73 degrees the whole time. We stayed in building X on the 3rd floor. Our view was fabulous. Both restaurants on the property were excellent as was there service there. We are Worldmark timeshare owners and have wanted to travel to the caribbean but hadn't seen an opening until recently, a search revealed a week available in September and we jumped on it! We didn't realize that September is the end of the peak hurricane season, therefore a "slow or off-peak" time for the island. This meant it was quiet and not busy, which we enjoyed! It also meant that some businesses/services were not open or available, but it did not interfere with our enjoyment. We rented a ... Read more

I am fortunate enough to live near one of the most beautiful white sandy beaches in the world, but the magnificently clear water and colorful sea life took my breath away. Snorkeling a few feet from the shore, we saw starfish, Rays and sea urchins. The condo we stayed in was lovely! The salt water pool was very nice to swim in and beautifully landscaped. Was a bit nervous of all the iguanas around, especially under the lounge chairs. The restaurant on site served fabulous food. Mr. Big Life ... Read more

This was my fourth year at the Elysian and I still love it. Beds are comfy even the murphy bed. Kitchen is well stocked. Location is perfect, everything (beaches, restaurants, shops, ferry, supermarket) are all within a few minutes drive. Their restaurants are good especially Sangrias food but(Kris is rude and it made a difference where we ate the rest of the week). I think the Caribbean Fish Market is over priced. Stayed specifically for the location, near where I lived on St. Thomas, in order to meet with friends and attend a Celebration of Life for one very special friend. Only stayed 3 nights, but 2nd and 3rd were horrible. Adjacent room was apparently party central for a young group. Party started at 10pm on my 2nd night, and finally ended shortly after Midnight when security showed up. However some sort of altercation again started at 1:30am and lasted another half hour. Stayed here in a condo rental. Very close to a large grocery store and within minutes of red hook for dining. The property is reasonably well maintained and landscaped. The pool is nice but the pool bar was rarely open. Two restaurants on the property were both good. The beach is nice with no waves. Good snorkeling on the left side of the beach. Went to St Thomas for a destination wedding. Stayed the week in a privately owned condo that we found through VRBO. Condo was very well appointed and very well equipped. Property was well maintained, nice beach & pool. Great snorkeling. Good restaurants on site. A lot of steps up to the condos, however, they will provide a ride in a cart, if needed. A bit of sticker shock at the food market in Red Hook. Was no more expensive to eat at the restaurants.

The resort was maintained but didn't seem like many improvements were made in awhile. The electricity went out at least a dozen times during our week stay. I heard that this does happen in St. Thomas but it seemed that the staff wasn't able to get it going without calling in help. Maybe the generator was old? There wasn't much beach area, although the pool was nice and we used it over the beach. The concierges answered questions when asked but didn't offer information about the area as we... Read more
