We got married and spent our honeymoon all in St. Thomas. We stayed a Bolongo Bay. The view and the food was amazing. We did the all inclusive package and ate and drank as much as we wanted. We did not end up with any add-ons when we checked out so no additional cost and we had everything we wanted. Mimosas in the morning overlooking the water, prime rib for our wedding night dinner, great music and lots of fun!

First time here. We got a wonderful room where the back door opens directly to the beach. Worth it to get the all-inclusive with food, drink and more. They totally understand hospitality and make you feel so welcome! The food is incredibly both at Iggies and Lobster Bay, best prime rib we've ever tasted. Highlight of the trip was a free sunset /rum punch 2 hour trip on the catamaran with Captain Greg, Allan and Sherry! We'll be coming back!!

This was our first time staying at Bolongo Bay Resort, we were not impressed Rooms should be upgraded Shower is too small and water spills onto bathroom floor On the positive, the staff is friendly and helpful Food is delicious There is no need to purchase water, because there is a water filtration system The water tastes very good The beach is clean, and there are enough beach chairs to accommodate the guests

This is probably our 10th or 12th visit to Bolongo since we first went in 1994. It is very comfortable and welcoming. The property is both very familiar but doesn't feel dated. The staff is so pleasant and eager to make sure you are taken care of. We first choose Bolongo because it was all inclusive and frankly since that still meets all our needs, we never leave the property once we get there. We hope to never go any place else as this is the ultimate spot for relaxation or as a "base" if you w... Read more

The beach is just steps from your door but is very rocky so be sure to have water shoes. Stay in the marked area as there are lots of sea urchin everywhere else. The restaurants are wonderful and games at Iggies are great. Nice secluded location. Would recommend this location if you are staying at the resort most of your stay.

From the moment we stepped onto the property, everyone provided exceptional service. This isn't a large resort complex and it's not super fancy but it was perfect for us. With a beach front room, unlimited water sports, pool with swim up bar and on site restaurants, this was the perfect location for our first family vacation to the islands. Zach and Louis in the beach hut, Alex, 007 and Harry in the bar, Viola at the Lobster Grille and all the staff at Iggy's were such a pleasure. We always f... Read more

I picked this resort because it was all-inclusive and I didn't want to be concerned about food & drinks while on vacation. All in all the resort met my needs. I had an updated room so I was very pleased with it. The staff at the resort were great. They were very helpful with recommending excursions and getting transportation (taxis) back & forth. However the cleaning staff often did a mediocre job in cleaning our room- taking and replacing used towels but leaving used washed cloths. I had to ca... Read more

I think Bolongo is probably an honest 3 star hotel. I gave it 4 because I was there 20 years ago and when I got off the cab , it looked exactly the same. The rooms are probably a 2 , they are dated, like any beach motel. The pool looks better and better if you drink many rum punches! It not great, but the bay is nice, warm and safe. BRING WATER SHOES! There's about 4 feet of assorted sized rocks you have to cross before you can swim in a warm ocean. We did the all inclusive plan, THAT'S THE ON... Read more

This resort is on the small side, it does have some good outdoor features, nice beach and amenities, and the all inclusive is nice, however the room really left something to be desired. I stayed with my husband and 2 teen age kids in room 145. It is old, the shower is tiny, there is no fan in the bathroom and the pillows smelled like mildew (bad like stinky feet). As a family we were competing to see how many mosquitoes we could kill as they were eating us alive, the windows and doors have scree... Read more

My group of 8 just returned from a great 7 day vacation at bolongo bay. My parents had previously been here and decided to return an bring the rest of our family along. All of us thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were greeted in the lobby upon check in with rum punch from the bar which was delicious. Are rooms were ready for us upon arrival at 2pm which was great as we had just encountered a horrible flight in during a storm. The rain immediately subsided when we got to the resort and remained be... Read more

This hotel was awesome! small hotel so all of your small requests are taken care of, the rooms are right by the beach which make the view absolutely stunning! 007 at the pool bar was the most awesome bartender ever, cocktails are great because I've been to some all inclusive hotels where they would mix the alcohol with water. But bolongo bay drinks seem pretty legit. The pool is open 24/7 so you can enjoy those late night swim! Food is also good. I personally loved the food at the lobster grille... Read more

Stayed here for 2 nights with a friend during our 6 night stay in USVI. Rooms were clean, great water sports, beach and a few restaurants within walking distance. We rented a car, (left side driving) but must be an experienced island driver.

We stayed here for a week. The food in the restaurant is very good. They have a good variety of beach toys available and the catamaran located next door offers snorkeling and sunset cruses. The beach is not very large and a little bit rocky . The location is great with Iggies Beach Bar & Grill located right next door.

Our travel agent suggested Bolongo Bay as our destination when we called a week and a half before we were to leave on our vacation. We were so pleased with the resort and the staff. We opted for the Ocean View room instead of spending the extra 1000 for the Ocean Front. When we go back - we will get the same room type. The view is spectacular - second floor so there is nothing in the way and you can see for miles. The room itself was neat and nicely furnished. AC was loud but not intolerab... Read more

Sure the buildings are not brand new but who cares? We are there for the islands and to stay out of the room as much as possible. I know this review is late but I just have to say Bolongo was one of the best stays in the Caribbean we have had, (even if the owner is a Gator ;)).... Go Knights I say! But anyhow, I cannot say anything bad about this place. Do the all inclusive for sure!!! The food is top notch and some of the best I have had. Lobster Grille provides some of the best meals,... I loved it, staff was very helpful. Got a free beach view upgrade when we arrived. Best option for our budget. We ate breakfast there every morning and it was great. The gift shop really helped in deciding what activities to do that day.

My sister and I stayed here and loved everything about it. The room was nice, the beach lovely, including for swimming, and the 2 restaurants had great food and service. The small hotel ambience is very appealing. We especially enjoyed the sailing/snorkeling trips. Trips into town on drizzly days were easy on the hotel shuttle. Did a fun day trip to St. John. Finally, eve entertainment was fun and worth staying up for. Will def return!

We still have nothing but good things to say about this place. It is clean, the staff are helpful and friendly. We still like the all-inclusive methods they use - allowing ordering from a menu. we did eat from the breakfast buffet- when they had the omelet station open - and one time I was looking at the empty bin for sausage and bacon, and one of the staff noticed and showed up at the table with a plate of both. I wish the shower was bigger - my husband and I both knocked the soap... Read more

My wife and I came for a week. From the moment we arrived the hostility,at home feel we received was second to none. The food, drinks and activities were great. If you want the island experience, they have it. When you meet other couples staying at other resorts on St. Thomas and they come over to Bolongo Bay Resort and Iggies, it proves it was a one of a kind place. The food at the Lobster Grill was amazing, and Iggies had a great variety also. The bartenders at both places did an amazing job. If... Read more

Very dated resort. Problems dailey getting clean towels. Must sign Every check at the bar or restaurant, Suppose to be ALL INCLUSIVE. The U S. Needs to Understand the what All Inclusive means!. Friendly staff and very good food. Overpriced for an All Inclusive in the rest of the world! Again probably because it's a U.S. property. Shower May?be 24" wide.

I have been here 3 times and absolutely LOVE it. It is a small 70 room facility with two restaurants. They have free equipment to use from snorkel gear, kayaks, SUP's, and many more water toys. They have a catamaran "Heavenly Days" to take trips to other islands, swim with turtles, sunset cruises, and scuba dice excursions. Did I mention that I LOVE this place!!!

Came for a week with my husband for our honeymoon. It was incredible. So fun and relaxing which is the exact trip we were looking for. When we arrived we were greeted by Noah who was so kind and informative. We told him that we were staying for our honeymoon and he had a bottle of champagne and chocolates sent to our room after we checked in. The resort is family owned by the Doumeng family and more intimate than a huge chain hotel. We preferred that. We got to meet some of the family and they w... Read more

My son just had his wedding at Bolongo Bay. What I can say is that this resort has the most accommodating staff I have ever experienced. Due to an unfortunate accident the father of the groom broke his back and was not able to attend. The wedding coordinator face timed the ceremony from start to finish so that he could see the event live. I lost an expensive diamond bracelet the night of the rehearsal dinner. My wife and I stayed for a week the last week of October 2016. The vacation was very relaxing. It was the off season, so we had the resort pretty much to ourselves. I cannot praise the staff enough for making our stay wonderful. Did the all-inclusive which is the only way to go. They have a fine dining restaurant (Lobster Grill) as well as Iggies, which is a more casual restaurant with entertainment. The excursions offered were over the top.
