Our room overall was clean and equipt with essentials. We did not spend a lot of time in our room only to sleep and shower. The staff was very friendly and helpful to book excursions. The restaurant was amazing but a little expensive. We rented a car to get around the island, the road signs are terrible.

It is a typical "no ammenities" resort. Restaurants are very good and so is the ambiance. My experience was good overall except for the resort's front desk personnel. They are unfriendly and make you feel as if they are doing you a favor. Terrible experience during check in and check out with different personnel. They don't acknowledge you, they do not try to help you, and they simply do not accommodate you. To top it all off, they refused to give me a receipt for my stay. "Call Wyndham" was... Read more

We had a mix of feelings about this resort. First of all make sure to bring your confirmation with you to check in. When we arrived the resort did not have our reservation in their system. We had booked through a web site so this could have been the issue I don't know. There were two other people that arrived while we were working through it. One they had listed for only one night instead of the two he had booked. The other one they had lost his complete reservation as well. Now to the resorts c... Read more

Everything was just great except roosters. They woke us up every morning at 3:00am. View from the balcony just amazing. Restaurant was really very good. Towels we had to exchange at reception, no rom service. Internet $10.00 per day and very weak. Weather in December very nice. Nice swimming pool .

Rooms were clean and spacious with balconies that overlook the town and bay. I greeted each sunrise with coffee on the balcony, admiring the view. The staff is friendly and helpful! There are three restaurants at the resort from fine dining to casual. The pool has a restaurant/bar that serves breakfast and lunch. There is a store at the resort, but I recommend that you get staples from Pueblo Market or KMart if you are staying a week. Washer and dryers are located in each building. We are goin... Read more

From the moment of check-in, I was impressed with this full service resort. The room was very comfortable and the view from the balcony was stellar. Taxi services were provided whenever I went anywhere on the island. Two staff members stand out for me. Victoria scheduled the entire vacation time with activities that were entertaining. She was able to answer any question I had. Raul was our waiter in the poolside cafe. He brought wit and humor to every meal I had. I heartily recommend this resort... Read more

I'm not one to stay at 5 star expensive resorts. All I need is a place to lay my head, store my belongings and take a shower as I discover the island(s). Bluebeard's Castle was a great value. My room (406) had a great balcony overlooking the bay. It also had a kitchenette (didn't use), a safe and a good, large shower. They have a delicious breakfast at the pool bar as well. Tucked up on a steep hill, it seems off the beaten track, but walking distance (if you can stand the hill) to/from down... Read more

I checked into this timeshare resort Saturday 11/26/16 and checked out Monday 11/28/16. I stayed in room 154 which was a studio suite with a queen bed. Overall this was a good stay and if i ever return to st.thomas i will stay at this resort. the room was clean, bed comfy, ac works extremely well. the room had a two burner electric stove, microwave, frig, toaster, plates etc...oh and a ceiling. the original flat screen tv died out and maintenance replaced it immediately. that shocked me bc i wou... We truly enjoyed our stay at Bluebeard's Castle as a timeshare exchange. The resort is clean and well-maintained. Our unit was spacious and clean and comfortable, and we had a beautiful view of the harbor, mountainside, and downtown Charlotte Amalie. The lack of an oven in the kitchen of our specific unit surprised us. I cannot say whether other units have ovens. But we did have a microwave and a full-size fridge and a stove top. There are three restaurants and a small gift/convenience sho... Read more

We have a timeshare condo (a studio) at Bluebeards - one week - thinking about selling that and upgrading to a larger unit. This is a very nice resort with4 restaurants and 3 bars, a nice pool and a beautiful view!
