Stayed here for 2 nights with a g adventures tour. After travelling with g adventures for ~ 7 weeks this was the best hotel we stayed at. The rooms were beautiful and clean, and beds were comfy. Breakfast was extensive and delicious. The rooftop pool was also a treat. The only down sides was the wait for the lift, which often took a while as one was out of order. Our group also had multiple issues with key cards not working. The location was good though, not far from bus/ferry station and superm... Read more

The Dazzler Hotel looks nice and could easily deserve it's 4 stars. But after our three nights stay I'd say there's room for improvement. The check-in. Oh my god. I have never seen such a slow process in a hotel reception. It took at least 20 minutes to wait in line and then fill in all necessary papers. Then we found out our room would be ready at 2 pm. When we came back for the keys - another 20 min wait in line! They seem understaffed, answering phones and doing all kinds of stuff while help... Read more

Stayed at this hotel for a couple of nights in November as a part of a GAdventures YOLO trip across South America.....such a nice bit of luxury towards the end of the trip. Fantastic location, fantastic facilities, fantastic hotel. The rooms were spacious and extremely comfy, as well as being immaculately clean and presentable. The rooftop pool was an added bonus! Breakfast was also pretty good with a wide range of breakfast foods and drinks. Hotel is situated well with local conveniences ne... Read more

From start to finish a great stay, the breakfast was huge and varied which is unusual in South America and the rooms were gigantic. The beds were huge and comfortable and everything you could need in a hotel was there including pool, gym, spa(jacuzzi, sauna, etc.) and even bikes for rent that I definitely want to try out in the Rambla for my next stay.

The hotel is clean and rooms are big with confortable beds. The rooftop pool is great, with view of both sides of the city. Check-out time is 10 am, that I found too early (breakfast is from 7 to 10:30)

We stayed at this hotel by the beginning of November 2016 and we recommend this hotel as part of a nice stay in Montevideo. The hotel is basically a basic executive hotel, the room was great, it had a nice bed with many channels to choose from, the breakfast could have been better though, the high point about this hotel was the nice view from the up-floor pool.

Stayed one night 25 Oct before voyage to Antarctica. Night came as part of package. A late arrival from elsewhere across town after a day-long excursion to Colonia didn't give much time for review before next morning exit for the boat. But the Dazzler is in a nice up-market part of town, Punta Carretas, handy to the seafront and a very nice 7-day shopping mall. Plenty of very nice dining options nearby. Received room 727 with lovely big-window S-W views. Spacious, modern, decor and a beauti... Read more

If there is one thing this hotel is not, it is a dazzler. We were only staying here because it was the starting point for our cruise. The afternoon we checked, we were basically treated like lepers. When we asked for a map of the city, it was simply tossed on the counter. I understand that some people don't like interacting with other human beings but really if you don't, you shouldn't get in a customer service role. I thought we might have had a problem with just one staff member, but when... Read more

Allocated this three star hotel by cruise company but I arrived independently in late afternoon, not in the early morning crush of people still waiting in the Lobby. Hotel located in residential area. Shabby exterior, Lobby tatty in waiting-room style. Reception staff welcoming. Room modern with laminated flooring. Small bathroom with broken bulb over sink (on order, one week for replacement!). No tea/coffee making facility. Restaurant resembled 1950s coffee bar. Found some vegetarian fo... Read more

Rooms are good, location is good. Breakfast could be improved:canned fruits not screaming quality. Restaurant downstairs is good. Some stains in the hallway making it appear a bit worn out. Vague smell in the bathroom.
