Dazzler is a modern hotel, well located, spacious, with comfortable accommodations and a delicious breakfast. As it is a very busy hotel, I would suggest investing on better check in check out Services. I would recommend corridors renovation. Some walls and service doors look terribly beaten.

I would definitely recommend the Dazzler when in Montevideo. It was modern and extremely clean, and also had a great location... The indoor and outdoor spa/pool areas were great and staff were friendly

Very nice and cozy hotel, the location is perfect! Clean rooms and friendly staff, thanks Martin for your hospitality! The complimentary breakfast was good and the restaurant is nice .I would just add some coffee machine or kettle in the room. I would definitely go back and recommend this hotel! ;)

I stayed in the Dazzler Montevideo between May 10 and 12. They have a really nice and wide bedroom and the daily accommodation price is average, but the price of the fridge is really expensive (in fact all the extra services are expensive, including the laundry and the bicycle rent). There is a good restaurant on the ground floor that is also the place where the fair breakfast is served (I was expecting more options). The only drawback is that there was something sticky on the desk

This is not a 5 star hotel but it did not disappoint either, you get all your basic amenities, the rooms are clean and comfortable, friendly and helpful staff. The room service menu is limited. This hotel is ideally located... there is a 24 hr store and a pharmacy across the street, a grocery and cambio 1 block away and a mall about 3 blocks away.

Hotel very well located in the Punta Carretas neighborhood, not far from shopping, can you go. The accommodations are not bad, but the hotel is not well maintained, could have a better maintenance. old towels, causing poor appearance. Breakfast is good. No offers free parking.

This hotel was clean and quite modern. The rooms are spacious and well replenished. It has a nice spa with a jacuzzi hot tub. It has a central location and is only a short walk to the big shopping centre and cinema. The breakfast was amazing! Such a good variety.

We stayed at this hotel for the chess Pan American Games, which took place from July 22-July 31, 2016. The Uruguayan Chess Federation chose this hotel for the hundreds of visitors that flocked in for the tournament, consisting of mostly children. Having said that, this was not a good choice. I don't know if the staff was able to handle the amount of people or of this is their regular operation, but the rooms were never cleaned properly. There was dust and dirt on the floors. I don't think they ... Read more

I'm glad to have chosen this hotel. There are good rooms and nice view from the corner rooms. The Camelia's coffee place was my favorite there, because it seems is part of the hotel. The breakfast is offered in the Dakota Pub area. Not much variety to choose but was good anyway.

After having tried Dazzler Montevideo I'm not anymore able to change. Hotel is clean, well positioned (Punta Carretas),offer good breakfast, bike service,a good restaurant at base floor and a SPA with an amazing fitness center equipped by Technogym. Ask the reception some tips on the city and you'll get great advice. Definitely my hotel in Montevideo!

I stayed in the Dazzler hotel and it was truly lovely. The rooms were warm and spacious. The beds are super comfy and the Shower is really hot and powerful. On the roof there is a swimming pool it is freezing at the moment but lovely to watch the sun go down on. The breakfast has so much choice it's delightful and the food is stocked regularly so it's constantly fresh. It's in a good location and near Resturaunt. I would recommend this hotel gladly to anyone travelling to Montevideo!

The hotel is loved, the staff all of them, ever helpful. The placement is very good and the room very spacious and clean. About breakfast, if you aren't in regimen it's delicious. About nearby there a pub called La Choperia where there are several kind of beers, very good !

The price varied according to how busy it became $73 to $92 for a single room in the shoulder season. I think it´s worth $50 but we are in Montevideo where everything is over-priced. My gripe is that it´s not finished correctly & the common areas especially the dining room is dark so that it can be kept unclean. The Ibis in Euope are usually better than this. It needs renovating & keep the charge low! The breakfast is inedible- pure rubbish except for the coffee. Location is ok but a little fa... Read more

We only stayed in the Dazzler Hotel for one night, and, apart from the front desk being relatively helpful and the breakfast including hot food, I don't think there was much reason to recommend it. I think it relatively expensive, with very small and tight bathrooms. It is fairly central and ultra modern, if that's your thing.

We were guests at this facility as part of a cruise package to Antarctica. Our plans were to spend 2 additional days prior to our actual cruise date stay. The hotel has a great location with ATMs close by, neighborhood restaurants and a 20 minute walk to the Gandhi Rambla(broad sidewalk near the waters edge). The bathroom had been recently renovated but the room itself was stark, utilitarian and not what was anticipated for the price paid. The room had actually 3 single beds with the permanent ... Super modern, clean and luxurious. People are very nice, the structure is wonderful. The bed is amazing! Unfortunately I didn't have time to enjoy the swimming pool. The hotel has an enxecellent location, is very easy to take a bus to go to Ciudad Vieja. There are nice stores, exchange houses, banks, bars and wonderful restaurants nearby. It`s possible to walk and I like it.

The room was fantastic, large and very well equipped, very good wifi. Excellent buffet breakfast. The personnel are all very friendly and try to accommodate every need you have. Very nice pool with excellent views of the city and the sea. Nice spa with good prices, not expensive at all. Very well located near small restaurants, the Punta Carretas shopping center, small shops and drug store. Safe area to walk at night. Everything was really good and I highly recommend this hotel.

We spent only one night in this hotel before boarding our cruise to Antarctica. The room was clean and spacious, no plug for the bath though. There was very good wifi and a good buffet breakfast. The staff were very helpful. The swimming pool was closed while we were there and thought i would go in the hot tub, went down and asked for a towel and was told i would have to go back to the room and present my passport, even though they had a copy of my passport to get the room key. I spent 4 days in the Dazzler hotel in Montevideo. The breakfast is very poor, not so many variety, not fresh juices and poor fresh fruits. Th swimming pool was closed and nobody let us know about that. I booked the hotel only because of the swimming pool, was very disappointed. The location is ok. Is not so far from the Punta Carretas Shopping and close to restaurants and supermarket. They have a parking but you have to pay per day around 370 pesos.

Rooms are good, location is good. Breakfast could be improved:canned fruits not screaming quality. Restaurant downstairs is good. Some stains in the hallway making it appear a bit worn out. Vague smell in the bathroom.

Allocated this three star hotel by cruise company but I arrived independently in late afternoon, not in the early morning crush of people still waiting in the Lobby. Hotel located in residential area. Shabby exterior, Lobby tatty in waiting-room style. Reception staff welcoming. Room modern with laminated flooring. Small bathroom with broken bulb over sink (on order, one week for replacement!). No tea/coffee making facility. Restaurant resembled 1950s coffee bar. Found some vegetarian fo... Read more

If there is one thing this hotel is not, it is a dazzler. We were only staying here because it was the starting point for our cruise. The afternoon we checked, we were basically treated like lepers. When we asked for a map of the city, it was simply tossed on the counter. I understand that some people don't like interacting with other human beings but really if you don't, you shouldn't get in a customer service role. I thought we might have had a problem with just one staff member, but when... Read more
