I always pride myself on filling the glass and always trying to look for the positives in anything, but when it comes to a Great British hotel that is every bit as bad as they can be, I can't help but rant. The receptionist was perfect, but that was been the end of the good impression. However breakfast may still surprise, it won't make up for the short comings. Shabby decor, musky smell, faded carpets and a million fire doors to negotiate finished with the most lifeless mattress imaginable. The... Read more

I won a competition and was very pleasantly surprised. We arrived on a Saturday evening, there was a mix up with the booking so we weren't expected, there was a large party also booked. Claire and Marie on reception were very helpful and were lovely to my friend and I. This was not the smartest hotel I have ever stayed in ,in fact rather shabby in places . However the staff were extraordinarily friendly and helpful. Any queries were met with courtesy and prompt attention.

Reception staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming. Location is great for Worcester Town Centre and a good. Igbo out. The room was compact, clean and tidy with a comfortable bed. Bathroom was clean and well equipped. The breakfast was included and a traditional English breakfast was available with friendly staff. The hotel was let down a little by very threadbare carpets in the hallways and decor in the room looking a little tired. Overall I was happy.

Great afternoon tea was enjoyed here with my husband and two friends. The hotel is lovely and the food was great. We had a selection of sandwiches, scones with clotted cream and jam, followed by four cakes each! Unlimited tea or coffee was served. The waiter appeared with "doggy bags" to take home the cakes which we couldn't manage to eat at the time. Will definitely go back.
