It was nice and clean and very close to everything we wanted to see took maybe 10 minutes to walk. Quiet neighborhood. They don't furnish wash clothes (face clothes) so bring your own if you use them. The towels were bath sheets, but wasn't enough space to hang them to dry since they only change them every third day unless otherwise asked to change more often. Breakfast was scrambled eggs, baked beans, sausage (but not the kind of sausage we have in the USA, not seasoned), rolls (they were g... Read more

Stayed here for work. The room was filthy, stains on the sofa and the chair, dusty headboard (with two obvious head marks in the dust above the pillows), shower gel dispenser was falling off the wall and moudly... I was prepared to overlook all of the above until I noticed someone else's pubic hair in the sink whilst brushing my teeth. Not ok. Swapped rooms, hotel seemed surprised that the room wasn't clean and came into my room and questioned me on it... I found this very bizarre. I wouldn't ... Read more

What I love about holiday inn is their standardisation - it's the same wherever you stay. Rooms are clean and wonderfully functional- must be designed by a woman as the hairdryer is right by the mirror and the lights are placed so you can see to put your make up on. Beds are great - comfortable. Good service from pleasant staff, breakfast is a help yourself affair - acceptable standard for what it is

Very reasonably priced overnight accommodation close to Legoland and Windsor Castle. The rooms are comfortable, clean, functional with basic furniture, OK for overnight stay but, with limited storage facilities, not really suitable for longer visits. Great place to stay location is ideal for Harry Potter and a couple of minutes walk to the train station to commute into London, as its so close to the train station you can hear the trains going passed which is the only down side but it's clean tidy and staff are helpful there is a £5 charge for parking which I feel should be included in the price overall a nice and handy place to stay

The hotel is well located, a short walk to the city centre. The rooms are compact, but everything you need. Wardrobe space is not huge. The bathroom is good, with a strong shower and hot water. The mattress however is a killer. Two nights have left me with back pain and would strongly influence my decision to stay again. The breakfast is ok, with some cooked items. The bar opens late and the staff are polite and helpful. If they sorted the mattresses out this would be a winner.

Our room was clean, modern and very pleasant. The bed was too small and we both rolled to the centre in the night which did not make for the best night's sleep. Breakfast the next morning was OK but lacked sufficient fresh fruit. What there was was uninspiring and the oranges were not as fresh as they should be. The fruit that was available for spooning into dishes was tinned, which is inexcusable nowadays.

This is a fairly new hotel about a Km from the train station and high street. It's a really nice change from the small, cramped hotel rooms in London- here the rooms and bathrooms are much bigger. The air Conditioning is also a nice touch. The lobby has a small bar serving draft beer, wine and simple cocktails, and the kitchen can do a limited menu if you don't feel like walking back into town. Hot breakfast is quite good. This Holiday Inn is quite new, but serves mostly transient work crews. The beds are comfortable and the staff is fine. Breakfast is typical chain hotel breakfast bar (instant breakfast). Nothing to rate the property any lower than average - but NOT what we expected. Clientele is a bit rough. If your here for a wine vacation - stay elsewhere.

We decided to stay in Windsor the night before an afternoon flight from Heathrow. We picked the location so we could have a look at Eton, Windsor and Windsor Castle, a better plan for the final 24hrs of our trip rather than just going to a bland Heathrow hotel. So on a quiet Sunday evening we checked into the Holiday Inn Express. It's a newish looking building, not large and with only three levels of rooms. The location was a little odd at first glance. It's like all Holiday Inn Express but this one in particular is smack bang between the Legoland Theme Park and the Windsor Castle. If you're looking for an alternative stay to take your kids in Legoland and also at the same time want to see the Windsor Castle and it's surroundings and don't want to waste your cash on the accommodation wherein you will not be in it for the whole day as you will be out and about. Check in here! The Staff are always happy to help. At the reception we were' greete... Read more

We have stayed here before as IHG members and were welcomed warmly at reception. Although we were a little early we were booked in pleasantly and promptly. The room was as expected with all the facilities of this chain of hotels and was clean and efficient. I am never quite sure that the heating/air conditioning in these hotels works quite as it should. We had quite a wait before any heat came out. Whilst on about that we found that the hot water pressure was very low and intermittent at certain... Read more

Having been to the races and out for dinner all I needed was a good nights sleep when I arrived at Holiday Inn. It was late and once at the check in desk we found that we couldn't get a room key without paying another £12 for car parking. Having coughed up we went to our room to find that the concept of a full double bed and duvet appeared to have passed them by. While try to sleep I sunk to the centre of the bed and was then woken by multiple planes. What amazes me the most is we could hav... Read more

Sorry, can't recommend this hotel. Stayed in room 101 and didn't get to sleep until 3:30 due to noise from generate room. Breakfast ok. £12 parking. No satisfactory apology from reception. I would not stay here again.

The hotel is well located, easy to drive to and within 10 minutes walk of the centre of town. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were polite and helpful. Breakfast was complimentary and this is reflected in the level of service and what was on offer. Bearing in mind this is a budget hotel it was good value for money, although the car park was expensive at £12.00 per night. Ideal for a short visit.
