Loved my stay in this pub. Superbly located near the cathedral and the college and not far from the south downs way. They let me stay with my dog which I very much appreciated. Super friendly service. Could not recommend more highly. Excellent food too.

As a former Winchester College student (Old Wykehamist), I have been to the Wykeham Arms many times. It is a great pub, as well as ideal for B&B. Really great place to stay. Friendly. Comfortable. Wonderful atmospheric pub. Lovely breakfasts and dinner. Great place to base yourself to get a feel for the city. Would say that some of the rooms are located across the street. They are really lovely...but if you are in any way challenged by stairs this would not suit at all. Very narrow and steep (well, these are historic town dwelling places) and two flights, so you should check which room you're going to get if this presents a problem.

What a great place to stay. Nice old-fashioned room, great dinner menu, friendly service and all within walking distance of the cathedral and the town centre. The car park is cramped, but you double park and leave your keys at reception, so it's not a problem. One of the nicest hotels I've stayed in recently.

Great room, good food and a nice pub. Location very convenient. Parking not too plentiful, but we had a spot at the hotel. Staff could not have been nicer. Post Box room had a nice view of the street and the amenities were appreciated.
