Great place to park the car and stay overnight before a flight from nearby Heathrow Central. The car stays in the car park around the hotel rather than being taken offsite somewhere! You catch the Hoppa bus into whatever terminal you need and, in the case of the Terminal 3, it's the first stop so traffic permitting is a very quick trip! This Crowne Plaza lives up to the reputation of the Intercontinental Group, is very comfortable and relaxing. The down side is that getting the bus back from th... Read more

We stayed here in April the night before we flew. Check in was easy, the staff are very helpful. Room was clean. We left our car here for two weeks while on holiday and you don't leave your keys so you know that your car will not move while you are away. We would stay here again.

Flying from Heathrow Terminal 5, We had a good deal for two rooms and parking via Holiday Extras, The rooms are clean well appointed and very comfortable, Check in was simple and really friendly, Excellent appointed bathroom, We did look to try and eat at the hotel however it was really busy so we decided to eat just down the road, Excellent for Heathrow and a good nights sleep. On the downside the bar is slightly overpriced however i suspect in line with other hotels in the area.

Myself and Colleague stay at this hotel on average twice a week. This is a busy hotel, but works like a well oiled machine. From the management who are always on hand. The reception is quick and efficient, Paris is always happy to see us. Attila who is always ready to help and is very polite and efficient, never fails to impress me. And young brother following in his footsteps. As I said this is a very busy hotel. Some how the staff always make you feel welcome. We will be returning soon.

I wanted to give this property five stars, but there are a few issues that take a star away. First off, I would definitely stay here again. On check in I got there at noon and they gave me a room! Who does that! Thank you! Pros: 1) Located in a really easily accessible location in relation to the airport and interstates. 2) Rooms are large, beds are comfy. 3) Breakfast is great! Anything you want, hot, cold, yogurt, bread, it is all there including made to order omelets! 4) Plenty of par... Read more

We stayed as a couple for one night before going on holiday from Heathrow Airport. Staff at the hotel are very friendly and very happy to help with any questions. Would stay here again. Would have been a 5 star review had it not been for the hard pillows and steamy bathroom without an extractor fan.

Dismal airport hotel. This is a bleak unwelcoming hotel. Bed in bedroom was as cheap and uncomfortable as they come. Breakfast was free....I'm glad I would have been disappointed to have paid for it. Will look elsewhere next time in area.

However the parking service given with the hotel stay - VIP Heathrow, is anything but! AWFUL SERVICE... Drivers turn up looking like they haven't slept. Stayed for one night prior to flying on holiday, with parking at the hotel included. A good price, comparable with using a long-stay car park. Hotel is easily accessible from the M4, although navigating the approach junction would benefit from better signage. Easy and friendly checkin, and you choose your own parking spot at the rear of the hotel and keep your car keys - on your return, your parking ticket is validated by reception and you simply load up and drive away. A bit of a mix review. Breakfast buffet is good - selection of food is vast, and maintained. Sunday was particularly busy but the food never ran out. Service was a tad rushed, not too many smiles and they seemed so busy - resetting tables, getting tea / coffee. Ensure that you ask which breakfast you are charged for. Stayed the night before flight on a Park & Fly basis. Best price at time for similar hotels in the area. Located just off the main Heathrow M4 junction. Room clean and comfortable. Air conditioning efficient and one of the quietest I've come across. Hotel has two restaurants, which are expensive. Decided to eat in the Irish pub. Typical pub decor; fairly basic furniture but ok. Good service. Fish and chips very good, particularly the chips, and price slightly better than restaurants, but the "ch... Read more

I had a 22 hour layover in Heathrow and it was a no-Brainerd-> hotel to room and a quick return to fly out the next morning. Thanks to all the great reviews here, I chose this hotel for the great rate and the excellent ratings. Exemplary service by all staff memebers I had contact with. Check-in line every was fairly long but I took that as a good sign and it did move fairly fast. I have learnt my lesson! I did not check this Hotel out before booking, as it was recommended to me as a Hilton Hotel and I was in a hurry to reserve my room. Staff wonderful, food okay, but to me the room is the most important. This Hotel desperately needs refurbishing! Large, spacious rooms, but so old fashioned. Had to leave the window open as such a terrible old, musty smell 24hours. Stained, dirty furnishings. Big mistake.

Stayed overnight before flight out from Heathrow and stored car for 10 days. Excellent all round from friendliness, efficient and large room size with 2 double beds. It was very busy but the staff worked very hard in the restaurant and bar and food was good and fair price. My car was safely parked in a secure ticket operated car park at the back of hotel and staff on main desk was very efficient in delivery information and when I picked up the car.

This review bears in mind the premium brand and price of the hotel. It is clean, well staffed, quiet and well located for the airport. However, the official description "newly updated" isn't entirely correct. As many reviewers have stated the rooms are outdated. My biggest issue was the lukewarm fridge. The health club is a local facility that hotel guests are free to use but it's not exclusive. Best to use the hotel hopper at £4.50 per adult, a public taxi is about £13 and the hotel taxi... A nice hotel but a big problem was there was no where to plug in the hairdryer in front of a mirror! For that reason I would not choose this hotel again. The steak restaurant was fabulous. A shuttle bus comes to the hotel every 20 minutes and it's about 15 minutes to the airport

Having stayed here many times before it was with great disappointment that our stay in October was so poor. Check in was fine and we were actually upgraded. The room was a good size, but the bathroom is looking tired and needs a spruce. The choice of granite in the bathroom has not been maintained and has marks all over the surface. It needs to be professionally polished. The wooden doors are particularly tired and need to be revarnished. The breakfast experience was the worst I have ever ex... Read more

I was very impressed by how friendly and helpful all the staff were. Particular mention has to be made of Cheryl and Erika who happily went out of their way to be helpful at breakfast in the restaurant. If I owned a hotel I would want them to be working for me! My room was really big and very well furnished. Food was great in cafe and restaurant.

I stayed here on business this evening and was pleasantly surprised. The decor in the corridors is a little tired but the rooms clean and well appointed. Check in was very personalised and welcoming - the restaurant food pretty good. The "blackened prawn" starter was not - ordinary king prawns were used and off the shelf - not made to order. The burger succulent and tasty. Service was excellent. The room heating was poor and non- responsive. Overall a decent stay but with small changes it would... Read more

Love this hotel. Reception is always organised and everyone looks the part. Always staff there offering help with bags. If you have the dinner, bed and breakfast it's a very good deal. The dinner menu is really nice and excellent value for money. A must try in my opinion. The manager Matt is a very efficient manager who is respected by the staff. A very good team at work which shows in the general running of the hotel. We average 2 nights a week. The club lounge is a very pleasant room which is ... Read more

What can I say about this hotel that I've not said before? It's ok, but thinks it's better than it is. As for "newly refurbished", I'm not quite sure where as I see no evidence of a refurb! As always, check in was slow but friendly. Charging £15/day for parking is excessive (but then again, the hotel is near Heathrow where we should expect to be ripped off), and why a business hotel is still charging for (slow) "high speed" internet access in 2016 is beyond me!! My bed sagged in the middle, ... Read more

about 10 - 15 min drive from airport, depending on the traffic. Quick checkin. Very fast check out. Efficient staff. They strive to get 10/10 customer feedback. There is a nice Indian restaurant Eriki. Just had food once. Was tasty and fast service. Overall good experience.

When we checked in, we were told that we had been upgraded to a superior room and also to access to the club lounge. We also asked if we could still get food in the bar and were told yes, but that there were canapes in the Club Lounge. In actual fact, there was no food available in the club lounge, which was also unattended so we couldn't get a drink, and when we went to the bar (at about 10pm) we were told that we could no longer order food there and had to use room service. This added signi... Read more

Really well located just off the M4 and minutes by car to the main Heathrow terminals. Fantastic meeting facilities - great coffee, cakes, snacks, sweets - available continually. They have continental breakfast for those that want to eat at the meeting destination. Staff are excellent and want to ensure your meeting is a success. Rooms are chilled and relaxed. You get a great nights sleep. Even the on site curry house is a winner. What more could you want - well done Crowne Plaza - if onl... Read more

I stayed overnight as my flight got cancelled. I got a twin room which I didn't mind as it has been provided by the airline. There is definitely an upscale and luxurious feeling when you walk in the reception and the staff however were mediocre with their lines. When I got in my room, It didn't have the key slot activate the electrics so I assumed everything was turned on. I had a hard time figuring out how the thermostat worked. I ended up plugging the radiator provided and slept. The bed w... Read more

Always stay at this hotel when flying as I am a platinum member and most times do get a upgrade into the club room. Now though you have to pay for the use of the club lounge at a cost of £12 per person so as this was a special occasion I paid as in the past the nibbles etc were well worth the payment and again you were told there was canapés platters and snacks s in the past. So you can understand my disappointment when all that was on offer was bread rolls and cold meats. When I went to recep... Read more

Not particularly impressed. Obviously is an airport hotel and people are only passing by however it really feels shabby. I stayed in a club room but it wasn't pleasant, the air was oppressive and the ventilation didn't work (I had to sleep with the window open). I tried the restaurant as well and the service was extremely slow, the food greasy and not worth the price. Breakfast wasn't any better and the bar coffee machine was out of order on top of it all.

Stayed here last minute overnight before a flight from Heathrow Airport Location: Close to Heathrow Airport. You are able to get the airport hopper bus from this hotel which will take you to airport in around 15 minutes. Hotel: Modern clean looking hotel with restaurant, bar, starbucks and small shop with souvenirs on the ground floor Check in: Somewhat disorganised and laboured as the hotel did not have the correct information for me to check in and the check in staff were not the most effic... Excellent functional hotel close to the airport. Good clean rooms with desk and complete bathroom. Diner was basic buffet with good products. Breakfast was complete with many possibilities. Swimming pool was open at 5:30. Perfect. Hotel bar and hotel pub were sufficient. The whole hotel is based on short stay. And is therefore more than adequate for a business trip.

We stayed here recently on a quick trip to the UK for family reasons. We arrived after a long 24 hour flight and found that the check in was very efficient and friendly staff right through out the hotel. Room was clean and the beds were very comfortable the only complaint I have re the beds is that they could do with a top sheet as I find that he Doona's are too heavy and warm. We had a drink in the bar and also some chips which were very nice and again the service was very friendly. We ... Read more

We have stayed 2 nights in Crowne Plaza last august 2016. The rooms are big and lovely and breakfast is good. However the second day of our stay, my grandma collapsed, she fell down near the elevators and was unconscious and was seriously injured. The staff didn't know how to handle the situation, the hall was full of people, staf members where running around and it was just crazy. They did not close the elevators what let to situations where people came out of the elevator and had to step ove... Read more

Staff at the reception was very friendly, the room was spacious and clean but had seen better days. All a bit dated. The internet was incredibly slow and there were no international channels on the TV. We were a group of 8!!! people but needed to pre-order our food at the Orwell's brasserie. When we had our dinner the restaurant was pretty empty. We ordered room service and was happy with the food and time taken to deliver. We got this for free due to the room mix up which we thought was more than fair. My partner used the swimming pool which was good. We had a very large room, with everything you could need. The bed was very comfy and we didnt hear any airplane noise. My wife and I had booked the hotel attached to Terminal 5, a club room. Prior to arrival, I contacted them to ask if they served sparkling wine in the club lounge. I was told no, and after the exchange of a few emails with them, I cancelled. I am a Spire Elite IHG member, so booked using points at the Crowne Plaza. We were checked in by the very friendly Noelia and upgraded to a club room. I knew they served Prosecco for my wife in the club lounge so we were very grateful for the upgrade. Mostl... Read more

The hotel is very close to the airport. It was less than a 10 minute cab ride from the terminal to the hotel. Check-in was fairly quick and the employee was nice. However, the check-in employee offered no information regarding the hotel (elevator location, food options and times, nothing). ROOM (#1357) The room is outdated.
