My friend and I really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It is attractively laid out with the rooms in the grounds, so you do have to go outside to get to the Restaurant. Our room was lovely and warm, which with the cold weather we were having made it very cosy. The food was great, far better than I would have expected for what we paid and very attractively served. The staff were all lovely and very friendly - nothing too much trouble. It is situated in a great location and I know I will return a... Read more

I recently stayed at this hotel for a long weekend as part of a big family party, it is nicely situated in the countryside right next to a National Trust property and a Garden Centre. The staff could not have been more helpful or friendly, the whole place was clean and the rates that they charge are amazing value ‚?? But if you do choose to stay here please remember that it is a three star hotel that is owned as part of the Shearings Group, think coach holidays. You are not paying for the Ri... Read more

Together with my sister and friend we visited the Charlecote Pheasant Hotel on a Shearings Monday/Friday trip. From the moment we left Stretton everything just went great. It being a short journey we arrived just after 1pm. The driver, Alan, was excellent, the hotel was really good. Accommodation is in several different areas around a courtyard type area. We had the ground floor in the main block and could not fault it at all. Good sized rooms, clean and warm. The reception area, lounge, bar a... Read more

We decided to book a Shearings Twixmas 2 day break. The hotel allowed our coach to arrive early which was nice as we were able to cross the road and see the deer park, people could walk amongst them it was lovely and Christmassy to see, I think one could have been Rudolf having a rest. It was a cold day so did not venture far, but looked a nice hall to visit too in warmer weather. The hotel is situated in a lovely quiet spot. We did not pay extra so had a standard room in the separate bloc... Read more

We arrived earlier than expected and were able to have our room. We decided to have dinner there as well as breakfast the next morning. Our room was gracious sized and the beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed this place very much and would stay again.

We have just returned from an excellent four night stay at this delightful hotel. On arrival we were warmly greeted and directed to our room which was located in the garden annex. Originally this had been built in the early nineteenth century as a farm building, possibly a cattle byre, but had been converted into a fabulous set of quality bedrooms.our particular room was spacious, well decorated, with a large well appointed bathroom. Although the bedroom had a low ceiling with two sets of origina... Read more

We stayed at the hotel for the weekend of 25/26 Nov. 2016. We were welcomed at reception and allocated a four-poster bed on the first floor. It was situated in the farmhouse which is an old building with longer than normal set of stairs. As we are elderly the steps proved too much and reception changed the room to No 1 on the ground floor. This was at one time the farmhouse kitchen and the oven was still in situ. The room was a good size and well appointed. There were two radiators and the room was... Stayed here for just one night, whilst visiting the local 'British Motor Museum'. All of the staff, from the receptionists, to the bar staff, to the waitresses at Breakfast are polite, cheerful, attentive and efficient. Although I actually stayed in just a standard room, it was spacious, well decorated, very clean and with all of the facilities that one could reasonably need. Beds were extremely comfortable. Dining room is very well appointed and the bar and lounge area proved to be a very comfo... Read more

Easy to find hotel, booking in was no problem even though it was 15minutes before the normal booking in time. The room on the the ground floor was spacious and twin bedded. The room got cold before we realized the radiator valves had been turned off once on there was no warmth problem. The bathroom shower was very efficient (over the bath) plenty of crisp white towels. The dining room staff were excellent with a couple of exceptions language problems I think. The breakfasts were very good buffet s... Read more
