First, the good. Good rooms, well equipped, including hair dryer and kettle. Now, the bad. Bad location, miles from Leamington Spa. Only way you can get to Leamington Spa town centre from the hotel is by taxi, costing £6 each way - no public transport available. Situated in a retail park with the usual shops nearby, OK for local shopping. Also poor for food, and with nowhere else to go, no option to eat elsewhere. I twice had wrong orders delivered to me. First time, in the restaurant, ... Read more

We found from the start the staff were either over worked or demoralised. Since it is a £6?7 taxis ride to town and being tired after traveling we decided to eat in"What a big big mistake the food was tasteless and poorly presented, service was very very slow and again I thought the staff were tired. On the plus side at least the hotel room was clean and comfortable for one night.

Very nice hotel - rooms clean and comfortable. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was not so food though - not very warm and the hash browns tasted very greasy. Lots of free parking and rooms easy to access with lifts to both floors. Gym was very small and limited but ok for short stay.

hotel is on an industrial estate /business park - so not near anything "nice". Clean and functional. Check in checked us in and gave us the room swipe - no details about breakfast or facilities. Room very good quality and condition, Unfortunately only two rooms away from the lift - and it is an old noisy lift when going up :-( Breakfast was ok - not great - but not bad. If I was staying nearby again, I would probably try somewhere else out

very nice hotel to stay, gym was small and the food was great but they should give you more details on where to park if car park is full as we received a parking charge of £60.00 even though they state free parking.

Booked for one night. The hotel is the basic although we booked an executive room. It's like a premier Inn with nicer toiletries. It is based on the edge of a retail and industrial park so a good 30 mins walk to the centre or 10 minutes in a taxi. It did the job. Breakfast was ok although they need to teach the chefs to spread the bacon out on the trays and not fold it ( perhaps there are not enough trays) so it is at least cooked when they serve. Polite and friendly staff. Better situated for ... Read more

Stayed for one night in an Executive Double, on B&B basis. Chose this hotel because we were visiting friends nearby. The hotel is small and friendly. We had a room on the first floor and the room was clean and spacious with a good sized modern bathroom. The air conditioning is easy to set and works well. The breakfast was superb, plenty of choice of hot and cold food and the waitress was friendly and cheerful. We had an unfortunate incident during our stay, we were kept awake in the early hou... We attended my girlfriends parents wedding and it was a great day from start to finish. A special mention to Anna who went the extra mile constantly and made sure everything was perfecto !!! Staff were brilliant, helpful and happy through out even when we had asked to extend the bar time .. We did appreciate what you did for us so a big big thank you. Didn't stay the night so can't comment. But would highly recommend due to the positive attitude of the staff .

This hotel is located in the middle of a business park, so from a family perspective it was not the ideal location choice, however the hotel appeared clean and modern. We were disappointed with our room, as for a family room it was disappointingly small with 2 double beds and just sufficient space to move around them, it felt like it was a standard room with a second bed in taking all the spare space. One of the beds was worn out and had a big dip in the middle of it which made it difficult t... Read more

The hotel is a little way out from the centre of town, about 20-30 minute walk depending on your pace. The rooms are a reasonable size, clean and functional. The bed was a little soft for my liking, but okay. Food is a bit over-priced, and the 'tray-charge' for room service is in the tiniest print, on the bottom of the back page of the menu. Breakfast was a good buffet style, it was all hot and there where some items that where gluten free. The staff where amongst the friendliest I have come acr... Read more

I have stayed here quite a few times. Nice hotel in a great location. It is actually in a business park so no through traffic at night & far enough from the main road not to hear any real traffic noise. This does mean you're a captive audience for things like food, but there is a food court a 10 minute walk away. Slight issue when I was staying there was no water. Just a trickle to the wash basin but NO shower! It appeared part of the hotel had showers, my side didn't. This is because the side ... Read more

We stayed in a family room. The room had two double bed ( double double). Beds were very comfortable and the hotel and the room was very clean. Breakfast is average.good value for money. If you just need basic accommodation, this hotel would be a good choice.very friendly staff.if I visit leamington spa again, this would be my choice again.

I last stayed here when it was the Marriott. It wasn't great back then but I was prepared to give this place a try thinking that it might have had an upgrade. How wrong I was. We were given a bedroom at the side of the hotel right over the bins. The smell in the room was overpowering, and looking outside at the overflowing bins of old bedding (see attached photo) really made me feel sick. Luckily we were moved immediately to another room at the back of the hotel. The road behind isn't that bus... Read more

We used the holiday as our base for a Warwick Castle visit as it is only approx 5 mins by car away from the castle. The carpark is large and the hotel is easily accessible of most main routes. The staff were very friendly and I would say that the rooms were well maintained and decorated. The part that has caused me to put a lower scoring is the beds. It is really frustrating when you book a kingsize bed and you end up with two singles pushed together. Sometimes this can be done well and the it a... Read more

Not a lot of negative things to say about this hotel, this review is based on a 3 night stay; The room was comfortable if not a little sparse, the food was ok but was standard pub food tried to look more expensive by putting on a chopping board and the tiny amount of fries in a very small 'bucket'. The staff were very friendly and attentive, especially the Italian maitre'd at breakfast who deserves a special mention. So why the long face? It is all about value for money, the fee was £140/night ... Read more

I spent 4 nights here for business purposes and I felt very comfortable. Room was big, huge bed and comfortable, furniture average quality. Everything was clean. No great views from the window but some rabbits eating grass can be seen in the evening or early morning. Breakfast was good, average.

Stayed Saturday night, my advice don't stay on a Saturday night unless you are part of a large party and want to be running around drunk at 3 am. 2 double beds in a fairly small room made it feel cramped. It was a very warm August night and the window could not be opened, so great to have air conditioning? No, the air conditioning unit was so noisy it woke us up. On check out we were offered a 50% reduction but only after we had been told we should should have reported the disturbance earlie... Read more

The hotel is okay-ish but I was disappointed on my two night stay overall. No power sockets near the bed, a negative at least to me. Secondly, the first nights meal was fine but I had chicken pie on the second, a large piece of grissle/fat in the pie put me off. Informed the waitress and got a cursory sorry, the chef probably was never told. Disappointing overall, I avoid the place in the future if possible.

We have stayed here on and off since its Marriott days. Strengths are still the same - good looking building, easy to find, easy to navigate internally to your room etc. and plenty of space to relax during a stopover on a long journey. Also consistently excellent staff - on this occasion at reception, in the bar and at breakfast, especially the cheery concierge. But there are two factors which give this otherwise great hotel a limited appeal. The first is its uninspiring location in a busine... Read more

Went to drop a bowls bag off for a friend, staying a this hotel. Reported to reception and I was not informed of parking restrictions, paid for refreshments then a fortnight later found I was being fined £100. Going to report this to Bowls England. Spoke to hotel and they seriously did not want to know about this. What a way to repay custom.

This hotel is at the end of a road on an industrial estate but secluded. The special rates for bowlers is an annual offer gladly taken up by players. High standards throughout with helpful, friendly, professional staff. The rooms are typical of this chain with all the expected additions, clean and comfortable. The bar is small. Restaurant is nicely laid out with a wide choice at breakfast. Dinner menu is good with plenty to choose from.

Stayed for 3 nights in an executive room. Room was great except the first day the bed wasn't made, the bathroom had been cleaned and towels put back etc. I reported it to reception on our return but to be honest they had more pressing things going on as people thought they had booked rooms when they hadn't. We used the restaurant twice for dinner and had breakfast there too. The chef even tweaked a dish on the menu to more of my taste. My friends steak was perfectly medium rare. We used room ser... Not happy, noticed a review by MickyBikey on 29th July 2016 pointing out the awful view of bins but re-assured by the hotel mangement reply stating all issues rectified. Well they certainly are not, our room a few days ago looked out onto the same smelly bin area with all sorts of rubbish thrown about -empty fag packets, broken light tubes etc. What a let down and a very poor reflection to the IHG group.
