We stayed for the week-end and we loved it !!!! As soon as we walked in, Dan welcomed us with a smile and made us feel really welcome. The room was clean, quiet and the bed was comfy. The breakfast was outsanding wtih a huge choice. During our stay all the staff made us feel at home. Thank you to Sophie, Ellie, George and Andrianna, who were very friendly and helpful, and the rest of the team for a lovely stay Pascal and Annie

Place was clean. Reception area looked inviting. Didnt eat there so cant comment on food. Didnt find rooms as comfy as premier inn. Was disappointed to find free water meant one small bottle between two people! After that you had to purchase your own, so not quite as described. Overall pleasant stay but not 4 star.

Not a traditional hotel, which was a refreshing change, the reception, bar and restaurant were more like a city bar, vibrant and fun. Free films and decent wi-fi was a nice touch as well. My only issues were that the bed was a little uncomfortable and I had trouble sleeping and there was no gym and my food was a little over cooked, but apart from that a fair stay.

Good room at a good price. Clean and spacious. The staff are very friendly and helpful - nothing is too much bother. The only downside is the £8 parking charge per car. The hotel is at a good location for the motorway.

Went for a family lunch in the hotel restaurant. Staff were friendly and helpful. Surroundings were comfortable but the interior was a bit dark and gloomy. Food was acceptable but nothing special. Portions were good but expensive for what they were. Not particularly good value for money.

Stayed this weekend for one night, the hotel is on a business park with nothing around it which we were fully prepared for, went for dinner to a fab little pub about 2 miles away. Came back to the hotel for some drinks, to start the bar area is lovely all very modern. We sat outside and they bring round blankets and light the candles which was a lovely touch. That's about all there is good to say, the cost of anything alcoholic is ridiculous they have you all ways as there isn't anything else ne... Read more

Very comfy beds, clean room and lots of extras that wouldn't usually be included in this type of hotel, such as free bottle of water, huge tv, lovely pack of toiletries... All the staff we met were very helpful and friendly. The hotel is modern and the reception/communal areas are comfortable and hip. I stayed their with my little girl and we had a lovely night's sleep. Highly recommended. We had a car so we're OK - wouldn't recommend to anyone travelling by public transport though as the hote... The Hotel decor was lovely and the price was fantastic. Big tv and walk in shower are always big plus. The feel of the place was great and free films on a tv was great. However it was the Simple things let it down like blocked shower plughole, hair up wall of shower. There was a towel on the floor of the shower that clearly had been left there for it to soak up the flooded water. Negative: Booked a room with a double bed but my room and 2 single beds in. The red throw on the bed was stained. The kettle was not on the tray with the cups but on the other side of the room as clearly the original kettle had broken. Positive: The bathroom was lovely and clean with adequate toiletries supplied. Bath towels lovely and big and soft. Staff very pleasant.

Downstairs, bar etc is really well done out. Our room was a little bit basic but clean. Pillows a bit lumpy. overall the hotel was decent value but we gave the breakfast a miss at £15pp (macdonalds is a 2 min drive). Guest parking charge of £4 is a bit cheeky.

Pentahotels, seem to be offering something slightly different. A "chain boutique" if that isn't an oxymoron. Most importantly my room had a plug by the bed. The Penta is improving each time that I visit. Room was nice and had just been redecorated. The food is alway excellent - I had the lamb shank and it was superb. Not so keen on the parking charges - £4 seems unfair as you have already paid to stay at the hotel. I also asked if I could leave my car in the car park until 5pm the following day as I had a meeting.... of course I could, as long as I paid another £5!! (so £9 to park my car for less than 24 hours, in the hotel car park. Really?!

Food wasn't as good as expected I would have expected good restaurant food in the evening for this hotel according to the prices charged, they didn't match the menu criteria and very expensive breakfast. This is a multicultural diverse business location with lots of people staying at this location fir business meetings and functions. A few people commented on the food and that could make a difference to some people staying elsewhere at a location a few miles away paying less for their stay and... Read more

Friendly staff, clean rooms, complimentary water, quiet - large TV, nice pillows, walk-in shower - suitable for my needs. Customers waiting patiently to be served while I checked-in, as check-in desk is at the hotel bar

The room itself was fine, bed was a bit firm for my liking. The TV was a bit of a pain to use. Now let's get to the food. Incredibly over priced. You don't even get chips with your steak, you have to pay £3.50 for them. It's £3 for a glass of coke, not a pint just a glass. And the music is depressing. I think one more night in there I would of been suicidle.

much improved since the rooms have been refurbished but noise from the main road early in the morning needs to be addressed for rooms on that side of the building. Breakfast selection is better than previously

I found hotel facilities were perfect but without a car your trip becomes limited. Hotel is remote but during day travelling ok. Also one female staff was very rude in terms of ordering a cab for us. Three times I asked on seperate days and twice she handed me a list of number and walked away. Then I asked and before they answered she said cabs were busy and put phone down and looked at me as if I was dirt on her shoe. When leaving to travel home she again handed me the list after I asked her to... Read more

Room smelt of garlic it wasn't until The following morning we realised that there were 3 boxes of dominos on the chair that hasn't been cleaned away. Food slightly disappointing felt like it was ping food, and food below the rest of the standard of hotel.

I visited with my husband and we were impressed. The bar/lounge area is really nice. We were quite happy sitting there having a drink before we went out in the evening. The room was nice too. Everything we needed and nicely decorated. The only criticism is that the pillows weren't very comfortable which meant we both had a sleepless night. I would stay again but I'd bring my own pillows.

Everything ready and very quick check in although I thought I was in the bar rather than reception. However, the bar is reception. Very comfortable room and bathroom was great. Loved the sink area - light green all in one piece glass. The beds were very comfortable and it was very quiet. Didn't have any food as breakfast was £15 a head. Shame about the car parking fees - first 15 minutes free and then £4 a night for residents.

The structure of the hotel is minimalist, no closets no cupboards in the room, No safe for travelers. Everything is out in the open. The hotel check in is at the BAR. The breakfast is plentiful, but in a small space which is difficult to navigate with the number of guests. The service in the dining room is very slow and tables often sit left in a dirty state after the patron has finished the meal. The next seating is limited as a result. Dining was disappointing; although food was good. ... Read more
