Reserved a Standard Room which offered a choice of 2 x Twin Beds or 1 x Full Bed. I chose the latter. When I got to my room there was 1 x Single Bed. Complained at reception and was told bed choice was only a preference and they were busy with couples. I asked for a reduction for a single room but was refused. Asked how to register a formal complaint and was given a number. Called the number and got a message that customer services was now closed and that I could press '1' to leave a message. Pr... Pretty much as expected for a budget hotel. Some basic maintenance was required like changing blown bulbs and the breakfast wasn't bad. I feel that this chain is being overtaken by other budget brands who offer better beds and bedding. Didn't sleep too good and the duvet was too small

Stayed one night and paid around £50 for a double room including breakfast. Tried to book the night before (at short notice) and was quoted £125 for the same room! Room smelled of smoke despite booking a no smoking room. Shower went very hot periodically. No iron or iron board and when I request them from reception I had to collect from reception myself. Cooked Breakfast not great sausages, scrambled eggs and baked beans. Handy location for us hence why we booked.

We needed somewhere to stay for a night to break up a journey to Wales. ON this was really quite cheap and I liked the idea of staying in a reputable brand of hotel and was pleased that breakfast was thrown in. I can honestly say that I was impressed with all of the hotel. Easy to find off the M6, lots of free parking, the lobby, bar, rooms were modern, clean and everything worked. Yes it is a budget hotel but it is definitely a step up from Travelodge. The staff were wonderful; es... Read more

I turned up quite late in need of a bed and simple food to prepare for a long next day. Reception was good; the room was clean and comfortable and I got down to the restaurant just in time to order something to eat. This place won't earn any Michelin stars, but that's not the point. I slept well and left fuelled for the next day. Good job done by the team - thanks! BUT, lighting levels in the rooms are too low to allow serious work to be done.

Checked in for one night. Plenty of parking, check in was swift. The room itself was rather odd - the spare sofa bed was made up and looked like it had been used. It wasn't required as there was just me. The coffee/tea had not been replenished. The bed was as uncomfortable as hell and I did not sleep well. At least the air con and Wi-Fi worked well. Breakfast was free but generally unappealing - the sausages looked burnt, the scrambled eggs had the consistency of rubber and the coffee (out of a ... Read more

I arrived hot and bothered after fighting through the endless traffic jam that is the M6. Check in was completely hassle free and I was sorted out very quickly, the room is clean and the bed definitely one of the comfiest I've come across in a hotel, added to this the fact reception checked that I was happy with the room 10 minutes after arrival left a very favourable impression. I ate in the hotel restaurant and found the food to be tasty and filling and the serving staff friendly and helpful. ... Read more

Not happy with this so they agreed to cancel the £64.00 charge. The hotel is a couple of miles out of Walsall but is easily accessible by the local bus from the end of the road. The staff were fantastic and nothing seemed too much trouble for them. Our rooms were for people with disabilities, mainly wheelchair clientele and as we are able bodied we found the sinks very low but we coped. The rooms were well equipped and spotlessly cleaned. Another trip to Birmingham.... As a business traveler what I really need is good internet access, a comfy bed in a quiet hotel with a decent breakfast. This hotel covers the three well enough, though the breakfast could be better, dont get me wrong it is ok but really do we need to put up with what looks like powdered egg and why do those toast machines only have two speeds - burnt to death or barely warm??? Apart from the breakfast cannot fault this hotel and I will stay again.

A couple of staff members behind the bar were a little offhand and to get a drink I had to interrupt a young lady's tidying/cleaning with an "excuse me" when I was standing directly in front of her. The hotel is clean, very efficient check in and out. To be honest, just needed a bed for the night and it provided exactly that. The bar is very expensive though. £3.95 for a bottle of Peroni, that's city centre price and is a rip off. If it was cheaper, would have stayed rather than going out.

We stay at this hotel most years, as it's very convenient, clean, and the price is always good. The staff is always friendly, making the slow check-in process a bit more bearable.
