Pleasant newly decorated standard room. Comfortable bed. Very friendly professional and helpful staff. Breakfast was buffet, a smallish range of cereal, the usual hot choices with 2 / 3 fruit juices, coffee, tea etc. Staff were extremely pleasant and helpful.

Just arrived in the middle of the night and were immediately welcomed by the Manager on Duty, Andrew. I can tell you that if all welcomes to Holiday Inns were this genuine l would have much better things to say about them. You would struggle to get this with a daytime arrival at most establishments and l credit the young lad, Andrew for his infectious enthusiasm! We were quickly in our rooms and the place was spotless, the bed is very good and the shower looks great. I am taken aback by the way... Read more

Stayed one night with a friend as we were on a training course nearby. Check in was easy, two on reception a male and a lovely female who was so welcoming and friendly- I wish I'd taken note of her name, but she was dark haired, slim and had such a lovely manner, she put us (2 ladies travelling alone) at ease right away. When I booked the hotel, I didn't realise there was no restaurant, my fault for not checking, but there's an Eating Inn across the other side of the car park (30 second walk) a... Read more

We enjoyed our stay at this location,it was clean and room was small but efficient. It was well situated for our visit to see all the historic sites of Stirling. Staff were very friendly and helpful, breakfast in the morning was very basic. Parking was free. The day that we arrived I heard bagpipes playing in the distance... myself and my wife drove down the road and found a group of people practising the bagpipes,it was wonderful to see and hear them!

Although comfortable beds we had no hot water for showers in the morning. I expected better from previous stays. The quantity of breakfast was fine but the quality was mediocre, especially the sausages ,or should we rename them rusks was poor. No hot water has put us off return visits to this chain. What a pity- come on Holiday Inn, step up to the plate. We were platinum holders, down to gold but looks likes dropping further.

This is a modern hotel in a good location for day trips to the surrounding area. There is a nice family style restaurant just across the street. While this has an address in a ??business park?? it actually is adjacent to a high school and there are sidewalks that take you to shopping areas. The room as fine and the breakfast good. As with nearly every hotel in Scotland, we had to strip the duvet out from the cover and improvise a lighter covering.

We stayed here for one night as a stopover before our journey home. We were greeted by two lovely receptionists who gave us a very warm welcome. We were fortunate enough to have a family room which had a great view of the Wallace Monument. The room was slightly bigger than family rooms at other holiday inn express hotels which was a bonus and the hotel has plenty onsite parking. I cannot praise highly enough the staff at this Hotel, so friendly and helpful. Made our stay very special. They were brilliant with our very nervous wee dog and the lady on breakfast duty even found a dog chew for him. They also made sure we had a ground floor room in case the dog needed out in the night.

I have stayed at this hotel twice now. Both times have been very good and although I was in Stirling on business, I was looking forward to my return here. Its in a lovely location called Springkerse and the views are marvelous. Being an Englishman you know you are in Scotland when you are here. The check in was speedy and hassle free. It is kind of out of the way, more or less in an industrial park, but our GPS found it. Very helpful staff. Room was big enough for a bed and small sofa. Bathroom was small but adequate. Nice hot breakfast items available in a spacious and comfortable dining area. If you're looking for dinner - go across the street to the Springkerse view - their evening special is hard to beat for price and quality.

The Holiday Inn Express chain is very good value for money to stay for a night or two. This particular one is fairly new so offers good levels of fit out. The rooms are very small but if you're just needing a place to sleep then this is perfect. They have all the amenities needed and modern bathrooms. The staff were very friendly. The only negative feedback I have is that the restaurant area lights should be dimmed in the evening and that the breakfast scrambled eggs were horrible.
