The location and hotel facilities were good, so was the food BUT unfortunately we were overwhelmed by a huge party of male Glaswegians who we felt were a bit inhibiting by their shere number. Staff were wonderful

Stayed for 4 days as part of a secret escape deal. Hotel is lovely side. Staff are friendly and plentiful. Parking nearby (5 min walk) via parking vouchers. Didn't get to use the pool as was a cold period but looked as though it could be a lovely sun trap in the summer although no good for swimming. The bistro next door was delicious and well worth a visit. Agree with other visitors that the decor is dated. Our bed was very soft but that is just preference. Definitely worth staying.

The Revere Hotel is a grand old lady of hotels with loads of character and charm. It is very well run. The staff are very friendly and welcoming which really made our stay enjoyable and fun. It is all a bit old and creaky but it is clean and well maintained so this is not really a problem and everything worked well for us. It reminded me of a continental hotel in France, Spain or Italy with a dash of Fawtley Towers. Definitely recommended.

We dined in their beautiful candlelit dining room, every part of our evening was perfect from the moment we walked into the Hotel. The reception was welcoming, bar excellent and the Resturant Manger Alexandar was a fantastic Ambassador for the hotel, charming so helpful a credit to the Hotel.
