Just got back from a 12 hour straight flight from Tokyo and checked into the Holiday Inn at Slough and ordered a steak and they mistakenly served my steak to another customer who began eating it. They then realised the mistake and had the audacity to try and serve me the same steak, which physical and biological contamination aside, was by this time stone cold! If you really do have to stay at this hotel, do the smart thing and find somewhere else to eat!!! And by the way the place wasn't even b... Read more

We stayed here for 3 nights as we had a 1 Day + 1 Day free for Legoland. The hotel staff were great and our daughter was given an activity pack upon arrival. The room was clean and tidy and a lovely modern up to date bathroom too. The hotel is only about a 10min drive to Legoland which was perfect for our trip. The breakfast was a hot and cold buffet selection which was perfect. If visiting Legoland I'd recommend staying here :)

I frequently stay here when in town and always have a good experience. It is clean, affordable, consistent, and next to the train station and a large Tesco. It is 20 min to London Paddington by train and 20-30 min to Heathrow. The wi-if is good, the rooms are large, it has a small bar and food, and the reception desk is very friendly.

We stopped here for a day out in Lego land. The hotel had mixed reviews however I was surprised that it was actually quite good. Very basic but good price. Check in was fine, room was a good size, clean and modern. Shower was warm. Mattress wasn't great. Tv managed to turn itself on in the middle of the night a few times so had to pull the plug. Breakfast was basic but offered a range to keep us full for a few hours. Overall it was fine and I would stay here again.

I checked into Holiday Inn last night on business. The check in was friendly and quick. I dropped my bags off in the room and headed to the restaurant for dinner. Service in the restaurant was efficient and friendly. I was seated very quickly and drinks order taken. The menu is very typical of a hotel and has a bit of something for everyone. The hotel is in Slough first off .. Not within walking distance of Windsor so don't get conned. The biggest issue is with parking. I stayed three nights .. Had a rental car .. Was sure to give the reg to reception but 2 months later three fines show up on my credit card. The hotel uses a third party to do their parking policing. This is a basic and limited hotel that is saved from mediocrity by the exceptionally friendly and willing service of its (mostly eastern European) staff. The rooms and decor aren't great but adequate, the restaurant furnishings are straight out of the 70s, car park is much better than the awful underground affair at the Copthorne on the opposite side of the roundabout. It is what it is, a budget hotel with links to the airport, not close to it, offering the basic needs at a price. I was on business and it being half term holidays it was full of families visiting Legoland etc which is fine, everyone seemed to be in good spirits. Staff were welcoming and friendly, hotel was clean, stuff worked and for one night , decent meal n the bar, Sky tv ,good bar, clean room and nice breakfast is ok It has a gym, parking, I was in an exec room which was fairly recently dec... Newly refurbished and it shows. Spotlessly clean, modern and comfortable place to relax and sleep, and very child friendly. 5* - Check in, bar (and bar meals) area, gift for child guests, playroom, all staff, breakfast, bedroom, parking. 4* - Sausages (overpoweringly herby), shower design (bit harder to shower children without getting in yourself, but stylish), duvet too thick for the weather. All in all one of the most relaxing places I've stayed, in fact I'd go there for a drink and snack if I... Read more

Good access to Windsor where we visited Windsor Castle. Also only a short journey from Legoland so a great variety of attractions for all age groups. An hours train ride from Central London if you don't want the hustle and bustle of Central London for the weekend.

Usually stay Holiday Inns and usually impressed but apart from very helpful and friendly staff wasn't impressed. Traffic in Slough a nightmare and it took ages to get from town to the hotel and back. Bar and reception area nice and modern but restaurant tired and sad and this morning noted a curly hair on a supposedly clean plate...yikes! Room OK but endured a tepid shower this morning and toilet flush stuck. Glad to be checking out.

We stayed here overnight. Rooms and bathroom are clean, staff are excellent, however, car parking rules and charge annoying. £70 inc breakfast a good deal.breakfast simple but good quality too. Location is good but slough is a depressing place.

Booked this hotel to stay the night prior to conference at Beaumont Estate the following day! Room clean and modern with 2 double comfortable beds and pillows. Well glazed, minimal noise from planes. Good price via IHG rewards club. Food in bar average but ok at the end of a long drive. Breakfast average. Close to motorway. Friendly staff. I preferred this hotel to the Beaumont Estate where we stayed the following night. Would happily stay here again. Good value for money, plenty of car parking... Read more

The Holiday Inn is very well placed for travellers being near the M4. Very easy to find. The hotel room was very comfortable and the breakfast was excellent, with very good service. There isn't really anything of interest close by the hotel, so more of a base for business people or for visiting Windsor, Legoland, etc. Slough isn't somewhere you visit for it's own beauty! The hotel does what it needs to very well in my view.

This hotel has a lot going for it for a chain hotel. Easy parking, quick and simple check in. The hallways were wide , clean and modern. Bedroom was large, modern, comfortable bed and large smart bathroom. Although hotel was near busy road there was no traffic noise. Not a great location but to visit Windsor I would use this hotel again for an overnight stop - good value for money. Note - did not use restaurant but prices looked high.
