Arrived late on the 20/05/16 there were no parking spaces available so staff advised on best possible solution. Room was lovely, pillows a little flat but that's personal preference. Nice breakfast, small selection, could do with bacon to complete. Staff were friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay again good price and good service

This hotel is right next to Slough Railway station, but is well sound-proofed against train and Heathrow plane noise. The rooms are the usual Holiday Inn Express style - basic but perfectly adequate. No baths but a decent shower. Cooked breakfast is limited - scrambled egg, baked beans and sausages. Reasonably priced and the staff were very friendly.

We wanted to visit Windsor, but not stay in Windsor. We found this hotel to be right by the train station. We checked in and rode the train into Windsor - it was just perfect for our needs. It was clean and pleasant and just what we needed. There was also a large Tesco near so we were able to get a few things that we needed.

Stayed here with Family for our trip to legoland. This was an ideal location for this and is about 15 mins from the legoland park. All aspects of our stay were great. Comfortable room, helpful staff and ample parking. My only complaint was the coke from the bar was poured from big bottles and I had the last part of the bottle which was flat! With train station on the doorstep, this is convenient for trips into London

I was in this hotel because of the national schools regatta held near slaugh. One thing I noticed was the sink in our room was clogged up but we did not have any equipment to fix the problem so we went to reception and there response time was rather poor. The hotel was full so we did not get another room. Rather late at night on of the hotel employees appeared with a plunger she did manage to fix the problem but I could not use the water until 23:08. Stayed here with family and friends during Legoland visit. Check in was smooth, just about got a parking space which must of been a nightmare for anyone arriving after 6pm as its so small. Family room was comfortable enough, all thought ours (414) backed onto Slough train station, which at first thought might be a nightmare but proved not to be. We decided to get some food from the bar / restaurant as we'd been out at the park most of the day. They forgot the kids food and took almost an hour f... Read more

Negatives - 10 to 15 parking spaces for the entire hotel, alternatively park on the station next door for £13 a Night ..be warned there are limited spaces next to the hotel and the other car park is a 10 to 15 min walk back. We stayed here for one night after a day in Legoland. The previous two nights we had stayed at the Legoland Hotel but this hotel is just a few miles away, a fraction of the cost and for future trips I would stay here for the duration. It's in quite a bizarre setting, sort of half residential/half industrial area with nothing much in the way of shops or restaurants in very short walking distance but there was a huge Tesco a short drive away, not sure what else as we didn't venture out. We managed to get parked in the car park although it did fill up quickly and our room had recently been refurbished. Stayed here overnight for a trip to Legoland which was only about 15 minutes drive away. For such a large hotel the parking isn't adequate. It's a barrier system and if you enter the car park and find no space you have to go to Reception for a code so you can leave! Another stay in a Holiday inn express, nice clean rooms in good condition staff friendly enough and helpful. Standard food so would recommend a meal out rather than in, Parking can be a lucky draw as limited space. Its close enough for people to stay when visiting Legoland, which is great if you are going to Legoland, not so great if you are staying on business and looking for a a quite night or breakfast you might want to avoid school holidays.

Arrived after long hard day to find car park full and two cars were parked in front of hotel emergency fire escape door. Was told by reception i could park on street or pay & display, which hotel would not reinburse although was given free pint. Dinner turned out to be from the freezer. Breakfast was basic and not very appetising much like dinner really. High speed train line behind hotel which was noisey Bed comfy Bathroom good Room clean Wifi fine and free All in all hotel ok apart from car ... Read more

Stayed for business as it meant I could get the 6.58 to Paddington and be in central london by half seven. Ideal for this as could leave my car in the car park all day which was a massive benefit. The rooms are very good for the price point. Lose a point for the food, it's impossible to eat healthily and I regret not going out. Will use here again though as location is good, the staff are friendly and the wifi good too!

We always stay here when arriving at Heathrow. Service is good; rooms comfortable. Prices are reasonable. It has a small bar and restaurant. Most important, it's a few steps from Slough train station, with frequent 20 minute runs to London Paddington. A shuttle train makes the five minute ride to Windsor, so you avoid high cost of Windsor hotels. On the north side of the station is a superstore and Krispy Kreme donut shop.

That's not the first time and definitely not the last , we been coming here for years. And the service keeps getting better and better. The the gentleman who served us today been credit to the franchise, simply couldn't do enough for. Explained everything. And regarding the room , well what you come to expect from a top top quality brand. I recommend every single time We always stay at the Holiday Inn everytime we go away

The hotel staff were warm and welcoming when we got the hotel late on a Monday night. The hotel room was fine and well set up for a family of 4. Had everything we needed including wifi and a tv to keep the kids happy. The hotel was clean and well maintained. The best thing about this hotel is location, tube station is literally 100m behind so great access to central London. Also only 4 miles roughly to legoland. The only negative is the small car park. I would recommend being here early if possi... Read more

Stayed here with family for two nights. Really impressed with the rooms, reasonable priced bar. Good choice for breakfast. Limited meal menu but the food was excellent and reasonably priced. The staff were polite and helpful would stay again if we visit Legoland again

Clean, comfortable, handy for Legoland/Windsor. The best thing however is the polite and hard-working staff. Personally I think this reflects management - Mustafa (I think)was outside when we arrived organising a chaotic car-park. Breakfast in half_term near Legoland must be hard. All staff were relentlessly polite, calm and helpful despite this. Special mentions for Ricardo, Miguel, Justyna and Beata. WOULD definitely stay here again. Comfy beds, good air con, clean, but made by the hard-wor... Read more

Nightmare to find! Nightmare to stay! Don't go for breakfast on checkout day as your room gets cleared while you're at breakfast despite checkout being at midday! We were told we could return to our room despite the cleaner still being in it stropping and thumping around and generally making us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome in a room we paid for!!!! You can't choose how your breakfast is cooked it's a free for all with kids coughing and sneezing all over it, running around the eating area an... Read more

Perfect hotel for visiting Legoland, clean & very friendly staff who really couldn't do more to make it a great stay. Minor issues were that the breakfast area is tiny and we hit it at a busy time with long queues and no space but we still managed to eat etc. Also parking is an issue here but the hotel know that. It does warn you before you arrive when booking however recent changes in the train station car park (overflow) means that you can't pay overnight parking without paying for two whole... Read more

It's difficult to rate this hotel - it has so much to commend it, but has one major drawback. The staff are hospitable, friendly, helpful and with high standards of service. Our room was clean and well-furnished, the bed was very comfortable and due to the triple-glazed window, noise from trains was minimal. The hotel's proximity to Slough Station would be a plus for those wishing to visit London, and there is a shopping centre within walking distance. The hotel has a bar and restaurant serv... Read more

Booked a night here in between visiting the Harry Potter studio tour and lego land, it's fairly well positioned for both trips. Room slept four of us (kids aged 5 & 7) in two double beds. Rooms were clean and staff on front desk were helpful. The hotel is right next to the train station and you can hear the trains which didn't bother us much but might not be ideal for light sleepers. Parking was a little tricky, the car park was quite small and very busy with a few cars double parked which brief... Read more

As a family of 20 the hotel looked after us really well, made sure we could all get parked in their carpark (yes it's a small carpark but they went out of their way to help us get all our cars in). Great location to get to Windsor/Legoland/Ascot. Reception even let us check in really early when one of the kids had been sick on the journey. The rooms are lovely and beds are very comfy. Breakfast great, bar service a little slow, but it was also extremely busy. Would stay again

EXCELLENT VALUE OF MONEY !!! Good location and I recomand this hotel . Breakfast was included in the room and parking in front of the hotel. Pretty good location to visit Legoland if you decide last minute to go out there and no chance to have a room at the Legoland Hotel .

This is a very nice, newer hotel. It has limited parking and sometimes it is very hard to find a parking spot. The food is good and the service is good too. The majority of the city is Muslim and it is hard to find a good restaurant near by.

Hotel close to station and the town is a short walk away . Ricardo on the front desk was really helpful and the bar staff were great.the lady in the restaurant clearing the tables needs to learn a smile goes a long way she was so miserable nearly made the milk turn sour. A very pleasant hotel for the price would stay again .

The previous time we stayed here, we had a room opposite the railway lines, and it was very noisy, and the breakfast in the morning was packed and badly managed What difference this stay We had room 615 facing the flats and was it quiet and well appointed. The benefit of a hotel next to the train station, without the noise! A day in London, is a 16min train journey away, if you get the right train, or approx 35 mins, otherwise. Similarly, breakfast was a much more pleasant experience We were a... Read more

The hotel could not be closer to the railway tracks if it tried. We were on the 3rd floor and they supply earplugs if you need them. The staff were very helpful and promptly changed our room when the aircon failed to work. We were moved upstairs to a room on the other side of the hotel which was much quieter. They are still under-going renovations so there were a few little things that did not go so well but it was not the end of the world. The rooms were clean and had tea making facilities a... Read more

The location was great, right next to the train station. We wanted to eat at the restaurant but they didn't have any gluten free options so we ended up having to get a takeaway to take back to the room, the hotel did provide plates and cutlery for us to use though! The room was quite noisy, the AC, the neighbours and anyone using the toilets in the other rooms meant loud noises throughout the night. It's quite annoying that there aren't any sockets near the bed to be able to charge phones. The k... Read more

This is a fairly standard HIX as far as the rooms are concerned. The staff were polite and helpful, and unlike some HIX they served dinner (although I didn't partake) and had free parking (although I doubt there were enough spaces for later arrivals). At just under £50 for the night it was great value for money.

Recently refurbished with little attention to details, bedroom was comfortable and new, however already cracks in the bathroom tiling. Hotel convenient for business in Slough and located next to the station. With my gold status I was told twice that I am getting a room not facing the train line, so be prepared if your room is on the wrong side. Restaurant and breakfast are very average. Would recommend a 10 min walk to Slough Main Street for better options. Also visited the holiday inn expres... Read more

Stayed for a business trip and the hotel was very clean and tidy, my room was near the railway so a bit noisy throughout the night I wouldn't have put business guests in those rooms. I asked for a standard room and we got twin rooms with single beds which was a shame. The shower was great lovely and hot and powerful. Breakfast was ok for a free buffet, parking was ok if you got there early you won't get in if it's later then 6pm . But general a nice surprise clean holiday.

Based right next to the railway station, ideal for commute into London, recently refurbished and very friendly, polite staff. Rooms are functional, but clean with free internet, tv, good shower and comfortable bed Impersonal, but so what? It's a room designed for the business traveller. On site parking is free but limited. I had to pay £11 for parking outside railway station right next door.
