Stayed overnight whilst on business. Check in was busy but only waited about ten minutes. Room was ok for the price. Food was disappointing prawn cocktail starter was not very nice at all & chicken curry for main was again tasteless & over cooked ( rubbery chicken! ) . Main came when half way thro starter! Oh & a whopping £6.20 for two lime and sodas! Draft soda not bottled. Would stay at hotel if in the area but would give the restaurant a big miss!

I paid just under £80 for the room and 1 week parking, ideal as needed to be at Heathrow very early, and the cost of airport parking is very similar. This is a generic HIX - it's clean, bed was comfy, and as the room overlooked the car park, it was very quiet. There were plenty of places to park. The bus collects you right outside the main hotel entrance, and I was at the airport, bag checked in and through security in less than 35 minutes from getting on the bus. Would definitely stay here aga... Read more

I chose to stay here the night before an early flight from T3, as it looked to be the best option. However the web site is misleading and you actually can't get the Hoppa bus to T3 from this hotel as it implies.......only to T5 (& even that isn't so close by.) so I ended up spending a further £20 on a taxi from here to T3 in the morning. I also missed out on the inclusive breakfast which isn't available until 7 am! Staff at front desk could be better, poor English and was completely ignored by... Read more

It is an holiday Inn everyone should expect the service for a 3 star hotel... my stay was very good from the welcoming u til the breakfast the following morning. Only negative note is the poor Internet speed.

I made reservations on the IHG website and everything was in order upon check in. The process was quick and efficient. The rooms were well equipped and had everything you would expect in them. The shower was good and the room was quiet. The breakfast was more than adequate. The two coffee machines are aging, it would be a good idea to have a look at them, but otherwise everything was fine. There's a 24 hour convenience store across the street, which is handy. Housekeeping was great. We w... Read more

For me HiEx Heathrow is the standard for chain hotels - friendly service, good food, great location, comfy well equipped rooms. What more do you want? Always my first choice when stopping in the area.

We like this hotel because it is super clean, has all you need for a stop over near terminal 5, and the staff are helpful. It's only weakness is the quality of the evening food. It's obviously brought in, but what is worse is that it is not well cooked. Breakfast is fine.

Stayed for 2 nights. Reception was OK, but pushed to automatically add breakfast to my bill for no particular reason. I kept it separate so I had a choice. Room on the ground floor had a mildew smell from the airco I think. They said they would fix it, and did spray something, but it was back pretty quick. Floor had some stains which always bothers me. Breakfast was OK (I dont demand much) and the morning staff was pleasant. No much of a lobby for hanging out in. As someone else said, the Wi... Read more

This establishment was booked by our travel agent and having stayed at another Holiday Inn nearby (which was fine) we expected a pleasant stay. What a shocker this place was, in my opinion I most certainly recommend not bothering to eat here if you have to stay here. We ordered fish and chips for dinner, GBP12.50 each for what appeared to be cast-offs from the local supermarket freezer. Without doubt, this was the worst meal I have experienced in 30 years of travelling in Australia and the UK. B... Read more
