A 4 star hotel. Rooms were spacious and clean. Very comfortable .Makes a change to have TV large enough to see across the room. Located in its own grounds it is a bit isolated. You will need transport if you wish go out. There is WiFi throughout the hotel which lasts for 24 hours after which you just reregister. You have a choice of eating in the restaurant or the bar where you have the choice of ordering from the bar or restaurant menu. I found the prices a bit high for my taste so only ate in... Read more

A one night stay on a business trip 'up north' and was very well looked after at the Mercure Albrighton. Was given a lovely double room in the School Masters block, bed was fantastic and bathroom excellent. A wonderful evening meal was had in the restaurant and breakfast was clean and lovely. Definitely worth a stay, maybe come back in the summer to see the beautiful buildings and gardens.

Stayed on a Great Little Breaks all-inclusive 2 night stay with a friend and it was a wonderful stay. The staff were friendly and efficient - reception check in, bar, restaurant and gym all were great. Our room was good and the food delicious. Nothing to complain about - everything to praise. we loved it.

My husband had booked us an overnight spa package for the 14th January for my 30th birthday. From the moment we arrived we felt so relaxed and at ease. Afternoon tea was fantastic as was the breakfast the following day. Our evening meal was outstanding. We both had soup to start and then rump steak for our main, cooked rare and it was perfect. We had white chocolate and strawberry parfait for dessert and again, it was spot on. We loved the leisure and spa facilities. We had our treatments o... Read more

Recently stayed on a spa break with my partner and everything was perfect! The hotel itself is a beautiful old Manor house. We were checked into our room quickly which was clean, had a big comfy bed & everything we needed for our weekend. We then went to the spa as we had treatments booked, the staff were pleasant & helpful and made us feel very welcome. The pool area was clean, had a fair size pool & a very hot jacuzzi, in addition there is a thermal area with 2 thermal showers, 2 steam rooms, ... Read more

I booked an excellent deal called the revival package which included (for two people) a 25 minute treatment each , 3 course dinner and breakfast. I also paid an extra £25 to upgrade to a privilege room! This was well worth it as the room was huge! It was situated in the Manor House part at the top, and had a lovely lounge area plus four poster bed and a superb view of the lakes and grounds. It came with a complimentary paper, free soft drinks and a nespresso machine. It was a lovely older ro... Read more

Our third stay at the beautiful Albrighton Hall. This time for a lengthy 15 nights. Our room was clean upon arrival and serviced thoroughly every day. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. We ate breakfast daily in the Oak Room, a beautiful room with a very good selection of continental and hot buffet-style items. The staff were especially friendly and nothing was too much trouble. A special mention of Chris who provided us with friendly banter and attention to our every need. We will... Read more

We went her just for the one night between Christmas and New Year. Very good value as a late booking. Lovely superior room. Food was genuinely superb in the Restaurant. Spa facilities great. Staff I think were a bit tired after Christmas, particularly bar and reception staff, and so could have been a bit smilier, that was the only slight down-side though.

Overall its a very nice looking hotel set in lovely grounds. Inside it is a bit tired though and needs a bit of updating. Scratched paint all over the place could do with sorting out. Staff were overall quite lacklustre and privacy is not up to scratch. I had clearly left the do not disturb on my door during my 2 night stay while travelling for work, only to spot that someone had clearly been in and removed the kettle from the desk, replacing it with a smaller one which was put in the cupboard. ... My husband and our 5 month old daughter stayed here for one night. We didn't really know what to expect from the hotel after reading the other reviews but were pleasantly surprised! We paid for a privilege room which is definitely worth the extra £20, the room was really big, and great facilities. Robes and slippers, espresso machine and soft drinks in fridge. Bed very comfortable. Slightly outdated furnishings but apart from that cannot fault it! On arrival we had afternoon tea which was love... Read more
