Not 5* luxury but public places were clean and not scruffy. bedroom very nice and well maintained. nice and quiet and a good shower. lovely choice at breakfast. ideal for O2 arena and nice eateries in millennium square and bars five minutes beyond. defo use again.

This hotel deserves the Gold IIP status it has. The staff from the minute you arrive are friendly and extremely helpful. I could give you many examples if I had room for instance someone asked for custard instead of ice-cream, no problem to the staff. The hotel is well maintained with very comfortable rooms, very close to many restaurants and the centre. Recommend this hotel if you are in this City. At 3.50am gang of drunken lads returned to the hotel on my floor. Shouting, swearing , banging doors. No staff about. Did not sleep all night .Food was okay. Rooms okay. Staff robots. One poor girl serving breakfast and cleaning up on her own. Parked my car nearby. Staff did not explain the system with the token for parking ,so I had to take token back to hotel.

Although there is no parking at the hotel, there is a car park opposite the hotel where you can get a discount and the Q car park is also less than 5 minutes away. Check in was fine but I'm not sure why you need to use your room key card for the lift. The room was good and it was great to have a window that opened as I prefer to sleep with an open window rather than air con. The bed was comfortable and the pillows had the right degree of firmness. Stayed here as going to concert at Motorpoint Arena. Hotel was clean and well presented and all staff met were friendly and informative. Bedroom was clean and comfortable with all usual facilities and excellent black out curtains. Only issue was water pressure in sink and shower was quite low. Used bar which was fine but didn't eat here or use any other facilities. Hotel is in walking distance of Supertram which we used to get to Arena. Would stay again if returning to Sheffield.

I stayed one Saturday night. The hotel is just off the centre of town and close to a casino and nightclub. I parked in the Apcoa carpark across the road. We were in a room at the front of the hotel but I found the window double glazing to be effective and slept very well. The bed and pillows were comfortable and I liked the fact there was an ironing board & iron in the room. The room we had on the seventh floor also gave us a beautiful view looking out the city, hills and fields that I won't forget anytime soon. The hotel was good but I found the double bed small as most hotels of this standard have king size beds as a minimum but more often superking. The breakfast was good and there are a good selection of traditional English and continental items. The hotel is very much geared towards business trips. Staff were very formal and not very friendly on reception. Its worth noting that there is no parking but they offer a discounted rate for the carpark nearby (6.50) every time you leave. This is fine if youre leaving your car overnight but very expensive if you need ut in between! The room is clean and modern but on the small side. The bar area is nice and the bar staff are friendly. Just to note that rooms no longer have "shaver points" but reception can provide you (men) with a shaver adapter if you need one. A really lovely hotel (with a "feel good" factor) to stay in!! Jurys have got it right for me.

The hotel was overall average and as we were only staying for the night we cannot complain too much. However, i wouldn't recommend any tall people to stay as it seems the beds are too short. Im 6'2 and my feet were hanging out of the end of the bed throughout the night. Really quite disappointed with my stay at Jury's Inn in Sheffield. Because my room was situated on the side of a very busy club - i got no sleep until the wee hours. The mattress was awfully lumpy with springs sticking in my back and so, these things put together, meant I only got about 2 hours sleep. The staff were reasonably friendly but didn't exactly help when I complained upon checkout. All in all - not very happy and not up to Jury's Inns good standards normally.

Jurys is as good or as bad as most other hotel chains of this ilk The staff though were very friendly and helpful There was a constant, low level sound of a motor or engine just outside the bedroom window which was noticeable during the quiet of the night

stayed here for my girlfriends sisters graduation. Sam and Ben both gave fantastic service on the bar with great entertainment too! Rosie was also fantastic at the reception and very helpful! we would definitely come back here again as it is of a very high quality, whilst also being near the town centre.

I have visited Jurys hotels many times. This one was very new so cleanliness etc. was very good. Staff smiling and so on. I did not have a good night however because of the noise from the air conditioning system in my room. For some time I thought it was coming from outside and it was only after some hours I realised that it was actually inside and I could turn the fan off.

Stayed here for one night in order to attend a work conference the next day in the hotel. The room was large, modern, clean and comfortable with everything i needed. Bathroom was a bit tight and had a shower only, no bath. Staff were welcoming and efficient, food was reasonable. Parking isn't brilliant, there are nearby multi storey car parks, but are across a main road. Didn't have much time to explore the area around the hotel, but seemed a little run down. Overall perfectly good for a short b... Read more

Parking is ncp almost opposite, pay in advance to reduce the fee. Friendly, courteous staff. A fresh, nicely presented and a good selection of breakfast. Highlights for me, the Shapla Indian, a very easy walk and the bed was so comfortable, I felt I was the only one who'd ever slept in it.

Stayed here from 13th Nov 2016 to 17th Nov 2016 & again on 20th Nov 2016 total 5 nights. I have always stayed at Jurys Inn, Sheffield once every year & i can tell you the quality has gone down. The Queen Bed was not good at all & i think the springs of the bed were broken, could not sleep on the 20th nov 2016 night. There was no bin in the room for throwing the trash. The room was smaller than the one which was given to me previous year as a three bed room. I think that there is separate service... Read more

My wife & I booked a single night at Jury's Inn. Our room is 229 on the side of the hotel. When given the room we thought it was a good position on the side, not overlooking the main road to the front. How wrong we were. It's currently 3.30am as I begin to write this review. We've been unable to sleep at all due to a nightclub opposite (called Code) who are still blaring out music at a level that is unbelievable. It was bad enough at 11.30pm to phone reception about, not knowing exactly where it... Read more

Booked hotel for a weekend break to visit daughter at uni. Everything was clean and tidy. All facilities were great. Bed comfortable, room warm for a cold November weekend. Breakfast was plentiful and reasonable price. NCP car park across the road was perfect and with Jury's Inn discount, didn't cost a fortune. Would stay again. ū???

Location for the main shopping and bar area in the city of Sheffield was very good. Hotel & facilities very good and not expensive, certainly in the same price bracket as Premier Inn. Very clean & tidy facilities

Stayed for one night. Check in was efficient and the room was a little tired. The gym was good, but on return to my room I found the light in the bathroom didn't work. I tried and tried and tried to call reception from my room to no avail so had to go there. I was told someone would come and mend it.... they didn't. So again I attempted to call reception, and with still no reply ended up going in person gain. The receptionist then called the maintenance team; they weren't coming to repair the li... Read more

Overnight stay while working in Sheffield marred with such a plethora of problems I'm going to write a list. 1. Fire alarm evacuation at 1.15am. Apology note stuck under the door 2. Fire alarm sounding again 6am ish and then around 8.30am. Both shorter but nothing like destroying an already sleepless night. 3. Party in hotel. They could not possibly have been less considerate if they had tried, shouting and banging doors on their way to bed. 4. Central outdoor area with only a single working li... Read more

Just spent 2 nights here, hotel clean and bedrooms comfortable, however we had no hot water for washing or showering in, and the food was terrible, breakfasts and the evening meals were cold and unappetising

Out of date employee insurance displayed no attention to detail what so ever. Staff whilst both checking in and out were just not bothered. Inquiries as to whether I had paid through the booking and I was told bluntly NO you need to pay now.

Ronseal Fire alarm kept going off all night with no explanation and then there was no hot water in the morning. Rooms were generally clean, as was the rest of the hotel. Breakfast was your average full English put under a heat lamp to go dry.
