This hotel deserves the Gold IIP status it has. The staff from the minute you arrive are friendly and extremely helpful. I could give you many examples if I had room for instance someone asked for custard instead of ice-cream, no problem to the staff. The hotel is well maintained with very comfortable rooms, very close to many restaurants and the centre. Recommend this hotel if you are in this City. At 3.50am gang of drunken lads returned to the hotel on my floor. Shouting, swearing , banging doors. No staff about. Did not sleep all night .Food was okay. Rooms okay. Staff robots. One poor girl serving breakfast and cleaning up on her own. Parked my car nearby. Staff did not explain the system with the token for parking ,so I had to take token back to hotel.

Although there is no parking at the hotel, there is a car park opposite the hotel where you can get a discount and the Q car park is also less than 5 minutes away. Check in was fine but I'm not sure why you need to use your room key card for the lift. The room was good and it was great to have a window that opened as I prefer to sleep with an open window rather than air con. The bed was comfortable and the pillows had the right degree of firmness. Stayed here as going to concert at Motorpoint Arena. Hotel was clean and well presented and all staff met were friendly and informative. Bedroom was clean and comfortable with all usual facilities and excellent black out curtains. Only issue was water pressure in sink and shower was quite low. Used bar which was fine but didn't eat here or use any other facilities. Hotel is in walking distance of Supertram which we used to get to Arena. Would stay again if returning to Sheffield.

I stayed one Saturday night. The hotel is just off the centre of town and close to a casino and nightclub. I parked in the Apcoa carpark across the road. We were in a room at the front of the hotel but I found the window double glazing to be effective and slept very well. The room we had on the seventh floor also gave us a beautiful view looking out the city, hills and fields that I won't forget anytime soon. The hotel is very much geared towards business trips. Staff were very formal and not very friendly on reception. Its worth noting that there is no parking but they offer a discounted rate for the carpark nearby (6.50) every time you leave. This is fine if youre leaving your car overnight but very expensive if you need ut in between! The room is clean and modern but on the small side. The bar area is nice and the bar staff are friendly. Stayed here for 5 weeks on a Sunday night to Friday morning basis. Rooms are Ok no frills but perfectly adequate. No fridge or safe is provided. I moved rooms a few times as I found the shower pressure to be weak on the higher floors and found the room temperature to be cooler in the rooms nearest to the lifts. Also had a broken door lock in one of the rooms. Beds comfy but pillows less so. Breakfast very good - big selection of items - self service but well presented. All staff were very frien... Read more

Stayed over the bank holiday weekend. Excellent value for money. Room was great 903. Breakfast was fantastic with loads of choice. Hotel close to peace gardens and botanical gardens. Had to park in moor place car park at a discount which was directly across from hotel.

Stayed one night. Excellent location. All the staff were very helpful, from check in, ordering taxis to breakfast staff. Room clean, good facilities and quiet. Breakfast excellent. Really good choice and all fresh. Make sure you get the correct car park ( Moor car park, Eyre street ) as our sat nav took us to the wrong one at first. Thank you.

I have stayed here before but not for a few years. It's clean, staff are friendly, the rooms are smart (particularly the outside corners with double aspect) . I got a great deal on a 3 night stay by booking a couple of weeks in advance - £84 for double occupancy room for the 2 nights! Usually pay that much for one night in Sheffield. Didn't eat breakfast in the hotel so can't comment on food.

Stayed one night, with my daughter before Sheffield University open day in a twin room. We had a very good experience overall, with a reasonable sized clean room, comfortable beds, a quiet room and a good breakfast. The hotel was busy but we didn't suffer from room noise late at night, and even though the breakfast was busy the hotel coped with it well and there was no shortage of any types of food. Why not 5 stars? The room wasn't as luxurious as some and not particularly large (but still quite... Read more

I come here every month with my work. We stay here over night in a twin room. Staff are always helpful and rooms are good. Conference rooms are also great to work on for courses. Definitely recommend this hotel

Nice city centre hotel with two car parks within 50 metres. One of these is discounted for Jurys guests (take the blue token to reception before leaving). Restaurants and bars close by and the city tram about a 5 minute walk. Hotel is modern, AC in the rooms, basic bathroom, but irons and ironing boards in all rooms. Bar is nice, bar food okay. Good selection of drinks and beers, but the wines are very bland. IPA and Ales by the bottle are good, TV in the bar with footy. Breakfast is basic, ... Read more

Very pleased with room. Breakfast good but could do with more choice with coffee. Had one evening meal on Friday night. Very nice, staff very helpful and friendley, especially John and the young lady in kitchen who brought out the pudding. Price of meal reasonabley priced. Staff at front desk very friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. I had problem with opening the pkts of coffee but this is the same no matter the hotel and I'm sure they would have helped if I'd asked. Unfortunetl... Read more

Charlie in the resturant was excellent. I travel with work and stay / eat in hotels 3 to 5 nights a week so friendly service is always really appreciated and noticed. Charlie did everything she possibly could to look after me and it's rare I ever post feedback on here but in this instance I was really impressed. I would highly recommend.

Quite a nice room with a comfy bed and good shower. Air conditioning was too cold so had to turn it off for comfort. The hotel is on a main road so I used my earplugs to sleep. Good base but nothing special.

The hotel was overall average and as we were only staying for the night we cannot complain too much. However, i wouldn't recommend any tall people to stay as it seems the beds are too short. Im 6'2 and my feet were hanging out of the end of the bed throughout the night. If you would like to have the breakfast in the morning you will need to ask, as the member of staff who checked us in didn't mention and we only found out about this when we were checking out.

I stayed there for 3 nights and I don¬īt have any complaints. It is a very clean hotel with friendly staff and it is located right in the city center. I cant say anything to the breakfast or dinner quality because we didnt use it. I would stay here again.

The hotel was exceptionally clean and welcoming. On arrival our checking was quick and the room excellent. Although we overlooked the main road not a sound could we hear. The service was fab. The only drawback is there is no hotel car park, we had to park opposite in the market but the hotel did scan our ticket and we paid a very reduced fee over night

Dirty bed linen and dirty drinking facilities in the room, kept awake all night by vibrating windows caused by the nightclub across the road. next time (if a next time) i will not hesitate to complain whilst staying, and asked to be moved

If your disabled, don't just write in the Special request box. Ring them to confirm. And check where to park , I almost got a fine for being on the wrong level. In a disabled space ? I just got a warning !

Comfortable, clean and ideal as we could get rooms for 3 - we wanted as many people per room as possible and most hotels do not do rooms for 3. Nice modern room with enough space for us all to get ready.

Handy hotel for the city, clean and tidy . We had family room , everything good. The only down side was fighting near the hotel and the noise woke my son up at 6 am Saturday morning . Rooms are stuffy , we like air - opening windows helped but not much , then you hear the noise . Breakfast fine. Good rate , would stay again ū???

Would Not recommend this Hotel, understaffed and badly managed. Shame it's a nice building, good decor, good location. Service levels often Unacceptable. Overall one of the very worst Hotel experiences I have had over last 10 years. Their Prices are very competitive but not much good if what we experienced was so Poor

Really quite disappointed with my stay at Jury's Inn in Sheffield. Because my room was situated on the side of a very busy club - i got no sleep until the wee hours. The mattress was awfully lumpy with springs sticking in my back and so, these things put together, meant I only got about 2 hours sleep. The staff were reasonably friendly but didn't exactly help when I complained upon checkout. All in all - not very happy and not up to Jury's Inns good standards normally.

We stayed one night at Jurys as it is very convenient to the tram which links to the Arena and Meadowhall. We found the staff very friendly at all times. Check in was slow as not enough staff checking in and quite a queue built up. Othewise, the hotel was clean and comfortable. I would recommend Jurys Sheffield for a short city break.

I've stayed here both for business and pleasure and never had an issue. Staff are always friendly and accommodating. The hotel is sited great for the clubs we goto and their is plenty of very close parking. Just beware not to get caught out of the time change on the car park under the hotel.

Just had another two night stay at jury's inn Sheffield. Thanks to everyone for making it another enjoyable stay. It was lovely to see some familiar faces from my previous visits & also some new people too. Met some lovely people on a trip from Australia that stayed at the hotel as part of their uk experience. The staff at jury's inn Sheffield are never any different. Always welcome you with a smile & a personality to match. The room was ideal for my electric chair but I think all disabled bedro...
