Really nice place to stay, bit of an odd layout but nevertheless I would stay there again. Staff are very good and helpful. Rooms are also very smart, well appointed and modern. All round this is a pretty smart hotel and well worth a stay if you're in Sheffield!

We had a really good sized room overlooking Victoria Quays however we were required to pay extra for this and I'm not sure it was worth it even though it had a nice view. The hotel itself is in a good location and had good secure parking, just a short walk to the city centre. The check-in and check-out were completely fine. The gentleman on reception that checked us out was friendly and efficient. The gentleman on reception that checked us in said all that he was supposed to say however it seeme... Read more

Brilliant hotel, and in a fantastic location. Literally a 5 min walk from the main shopping centre and from the Meadowhall shopping mall. Hotel has the swimming pool and gym facilities free for guests to use and the bar/lobby area for a drink. There were a few proms and balls on the nights we stayed but we didn't hear anything which was brilliant. There is only one downside to this hotel and it's the price of breakfast which for a couple works out at 12.50. Don't get me wrong great for convenie... Read more

Stayed here over bank holiday weekend for one night. The hotel is in a pretty good location, only a short 10-15 minute walk to the local bars and restaurants. The gym is very will equipped with excellent weight training and cardio equipment. The bar and food had excellent choices and reasonably priced. Rooms are of a high standard with the usual amenities included. Would definitely stay here again.

A group of girls going out for a birthday. This hotel provided everything we needed. It had spacious rooms so we could all fit in one once we were ready, some rooms had a balcony which was lovely even though it was raining during my visit. My room was next to the lift, this was a downside as all I heard through the night and morning was the lift moving. This was annoying and did effect my sleep. My wife and I stayed here for a conference. We had no time to use any of the facilities. We only had time to have a quick drink at the bar before bed. The bed was very comfortable and the room was nice and clean. The buffet breakfast wasn't that exciting but it was all we had time for as we had to rush off in the morning. I would recommend not spending the money for the buffet breakfast - it's not worth it unless you need it for convenience. Overall a good stay though.

Great location and general staff were pleasant and efficient . I'm a Hilton diamond member so obviously use these hotels a lot. The Hilton Sheffield has always rated as one of my favourites but recently they've withdrawn all the little luxury extras eg no water in room or complimentary drink voucher . Very average. If you like rock hard beds and are forgiving of the tired look, you might be OK. The staff friendliness bring the result up a bit. Selection of Ales in the bar is 0 sadly. Maybe targeting your average business overnight a little too much with a bar terrace that could be good but let down by seeming indifference and a desire by others to abuse it as a smokers paradise.

We stayed for 4 nights and loved every bit of it. My only let down was this hotel doesn'r have suites, which is our preference but it didn't take away any of the great stay. The room was lovely and clean, the reception staff were very warm and welcoming. The bar was well stocked on the staff quick and friendly. The breakfast was always ready at 7am and nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff. The entire experience was brilliant and we will definately be returning

Great venue, staff were amazing, really helpful and efficient, rooms were clean and very comfortable. The food both in the bar and in the reception was really very good and drinks were not as expensive as i had expected. Full buffet breakfast was amazing something for every taste. Certainly recommend it, location was good close enough walk into town but far enough out to avoid city centre traffic

The hotel and staff were very pleasant and helpful. The hotel has a bar and restaurant and the food was very good. There is also a veranda to sit out in an evening. The hotel is slightly off the beaten track in the quays and about 10 minutes walk into the town centre. Please note that the hotel literature has the post code as S4 7YA and 7YB - 7YB is the correct postcode for the hotel.

I stayed here as had an important exam in Sheffield the next day. I didn't sleep at all because the bed was rock hard. It was like sleeping on concrete. I ended up having to rearrange the pillows and tried to sleep awkwardly on them instead. The room was boiling hot and I couldn't open the windows as despite wearing ear plugs I could still hear the noisy traffic. I ended up having to sleep with the top sheet of the duvet (removed the duvet) and got about an hour of sleep in total. This was hugel... Read more

Our room was very clean and comfortable and we had all the amenities we needed. I used the pool, again this was clean and well staffed. The breakfasts are great; the sausages are to die for. We enjoy staying at Hilton Hotels, not just because of the breakfasts which they do very well. However a few things about Sheffield that let it down. Mainly to do with maintenance - net curtains hanging off the tracks, window handle falling apart, night lock on door not working. We checked in on line and were offered drinks to buy for the room. We didn't order and as it turned out there was no fridge in the room so what would have been the point.Ordered a newspaper - it didn't arrive. No longer ... Read more

Reception couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. We did mess them around a bit but they sorted our rooms out with a smile. Housekeeping were very friendly and checked to see if there was anything else we wanted. The bar staff couldn't make me a coffee at 10 pm as they had cleaned the coffee machine. We were informed of last orders by being told, "you don't want another drink do you before I close the bar?"

The staff went above and beyond to make my birthday really special, including setting up balloons, a card and a happy birthday dessert planner in the room. They also did not hesitate to adhere to our request for a bath robe (which I have had problems with in the past at other hotels) and even included some slippers! I stayed here back in May, and left a very good review. The staff are still excellent, but this time the room showed some issues.
