We have just returned from a family visit to the city and stayed here! Hotel was perfect for our needs great location great breakfast and great staff! Liam was very helpful at checking us in and nothing was any bother in fact as we arrived late at night and my 6 year old was hungry he provided us with bread and butter and this was a fine example of him doing his very best for the guest!!

Booked last minute for a work trip, location easy to find with parking right outside the hotel for £4 a night. Rooms weren't luxurious but absolutely fine and good value at £74 a night. Didn't have dinner due to the nearby restaurants but breakfast was OK and had good options. Will definitely stay again when in Manchester for work or anything else.

My sister and her husband went to Manchester for their honeymoon and stayed at this hotel as they were catching a game at the nearby Manchester United Stadium. They only stayed for 2 nights. On the 2nd day, they left the room in the morning to go sight seeing around the area and came back at around 2pm. To their horror, their Nikon DSLR, Samsung S6 Edge hp and a Victoria Secret wallet were MISSING...!! They checked with the receptionist but was told there were no CCTV in the hotel...!! They d... Had a lovely stay and really couldn't fault it. The room was clean and well maintained with nice views over the quays. The reception and bar area is comfortable with polite staff and only a short walk to over to the near by restaurants. A lot more modern and up to date than than some of their hotels.

Just back from a quick stay here. Have to say we were more than happy with everything . The place was modern, clean , spotlessly so and very friendly . It was ideally situated for our night at the 02 Apollo . A special mention to Liam on the front desk who was so friendly and helpful .. he showed a genuine interest In our trip. Booked us a taxi. Everyone was really pleasant. Breakfast was nice . Usual holiday inn breakfast. Calm and quiet. We took a wander out on Friday to The Lowry (out the ba... Read more

The room was a stiflingly hot burning airlock and the window wouldn't open more than a couple of inches. I turned the thermostat down to minimum but it wouldn't go any lower than 20 degrees C, and it certainly felt much hotter than that. The duvet was completely unnecessary as it was an ultra-thick winter duvet that you'd only really need if the heating broke down in the middle of December. When I had a shower in the morning, all the towels were marked with dirty-looking grey streaks - not one ... Read more

I don't normally start a review of a hotel with it's bath towels but this was so unexpected for a hotel in this class. The towels were huge, thirsty and wonderful. Also there were two adults and a child which normally means we get two by default. Very nice beach towel sized. While on the bathroom this is the first hotel in Europe I've experienced that has a stand alone full sized stand up shower. I liked it, my wife didn't not sure why. The location is great situated on the Quay at an aqua... Read more

Because I was chairing an event at the nearby Imperial War Museum North, this was a convenient place to stay. The hotel is located in a regenerated part of the former docks at the heart of old industrial Salford. The area is now home to the Lowery Centre, the IWMN, a retail outlet - and Media City, with BBC, ITV and the replacement Coronation Street studios. Served by its own Metro Terminal, Manchester City centre is a matter of minutes away. Old Trafford Stadium is a short ten minutes walk.... Read more

Booked this hotel through booking.com at a reasonable rate.Location is very nice and the view from our hotel room ( no 4017 ) was excellent overlooking the quayside and the bridge overlooking the Lowry. The room was very spacious and well equipped with the necessities including an iron and stand, hairdryer and hanging hooks etc, large telly, and a kettle. The only drawback was there was no bedside drawer to keep our small valuables overnight or any cabinets..The staff were very friendly and help... Read more
