I'm a regular user of this hotel - ideally placed for whatever is happening in Reading centre. It is only 5 minutes from the train to London (a 25 minutes journey) or the express coach to Heathrow. There are numerous bars and restaurants nearby, some of particular note.

A modern secure hotel slap bang in the middle of the high street! Just what we were after. This is really taking basic to a whole new low.

The room was clean and agreeable with a comfortable bed, desk, chair, TV, free Wi-Fi and a 'powercube' provided extension sockets for charging phones/laptop etc. There was an open wardrobe for hanging half a dozen items of clothing but a distinct la... Comfy rooms and it was quiet clean, apart from the housekeeper who kept knocking n my door in the morning before 9am yet checkout time was 12noon, I hope the management will do something about it in future.
