Booked taxi at reception when going out for the night. Midnight pick up. The taxi failed to turn up. Let ft outside for 25 mins and froze. Eventually returned to hotel 8th floor room which was very cold, especially the tiled bathroom floor. Freezing in fact. Portable heater was placed in our room but overall a very cold hotel.

There were 2 heaters to turn on in room. There was not toilet brush and i really dislike that as how can you leave the bathroom as others wish to find if not the adequate tools. Strangely although double glazed and on top floor seems to noises wether from heating system even though not working and something else within walls /outsid... Read more

Me and my husband were in Nottingham for a conference. I wanted a mix of business and pleasure and this hotel certainly covered both points. Great central location, nice rooms (bit of an update would make them excellent) but they were more than comfortable for a few nights. Fab breakfast and a wonderful Spa & Pool to unwind in after a long day. I was VERY impressed with the reception staff, particularly the guy who checked us in. He was very warm, friendly and welcoming! All in all a great l... Read more

The hotel is well situated close to the centre. The staff we friendly and helpful, helping to arrange taxi bookings. Breakfast was an additional £10 which is a bit steep considering I only wanted continental breakfast - although good value if you are after a cooked breakfast as they offer extras like omelettes and eggs Benedict. It would be best if they offered two prices. The rooms it's self was small however as I was only staying for one night this wasn't a problem. There was a loud extracto... Read more

Great hotel with lots of little touches. We were given a bottle of prosecco for our anniversary on arrival and loved the pillow spray for helping you to sleep. Free bottled water in the room and on the way out. Breakfast was good and the location was perfect. We walked everywhere and would recommend dinner in Marco Pierre white steakhouse opposite the hotel. The room was a little small and the toilet handle was coming away from the wall so the place is in need of a refurbishment but it was ver... Read more

Very clean, price good, position good for City Centre.Breakfast good buffet, really nothing else I can say, a great stay in a very comfortable bed. Impressive foyer, great facilities, good and helpful staff. The only negative was the high cost of parking in what appeared to be their own car park, a bit of a shocker.

The rooms are getting refurbished I understand so I shan't comment too much on them. The showers and products are very good. The food available at the hotel is pretty poor quality for vegetarians, the noise is constant tho I may be on a bad floor for that (2nd) the kitchens or something like that are so noisy from very early on. The atrium is naff think Costa del naff circa 1990, the staff have been accommodating and there are nice touches in the bar.

Staff are wonderful and friendly - always appreciated. Had a room on the 8th floor and it was indeed one of the smallest rooms I've had anywhere! Bed was hard and the pillows were all lumpy, like they'd been in a washing machine. There was no bottle opener for the bottles in the mini bar and the TV did not work, just stuck on Jeremy Kyle and would not move. Apparently he error message was something to do with a router failure. We gave up. The heating and cooling system is beyond fathomable as ... Read more
