This brand provides comfortable spacious accommodation conveniently located at reasonable prices. This hotel is no exception. The foyer is motel style incorporating open lounge and dining area. By its very nature a Holiday Inn is a short stay choice for travellers on the move. Some will arrive late and others leave early. The check out time of 12 noon is designed to accomodate this, however finishing breakfast on weekdays at 9.30am is not and is too early

We are regular visitors to the hotel and it's a great place to stay. The rooms are spacious and well equipped with good wifi, the bed is comfortable and the location is ideal for the M1 (1 minute) Milton Keynes (20 minutes) and Northampton Town Centre (5 minutes). The breakfast (which is included) offers good choice and is of a very good standard. The evening food is something we haven't had as we eat at the Harvester opposite. Excellent stay here as we were visiting friends. The hotel is right at junction 15 M1. Great access to all roads as we had a hired car to visit friends. The hotel is clean and comfortable with friendly staff. As it is so near the M1 it was very quiet with no traffic noise. We had a nice stay.

This hotel is on an 'industrial estate' so you're not going to come for a week. It's an overnight stop. The benefits being that it's opposite a Harvester, has a decent bar and provides a limited breakfast service.

Really loved this hotel, we stayed for 4 nights, it's exceptionally clean, comfortable, free wifi, large rooms, quiet, great staff, free buffet breakfast, and free parking ....also an ironing room which was very useful This hotel is just off the motorway and so you will have to drive, there is a harvester next to the hotel and just a few miles away there's a big waitrose, Toby carvery etc - I would definitely stay here again

The staff here are friendly and always ready to help you. Stayed 3 nights over the weekend as was on a course at the hotel. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast each day was good apart from running out of a couple of things. Our lunch each day was nice although very carb heavy. The restaurant is not open Friday and Saturday nights apart from serving pizza so went to the Harvester next door. Sunday night had a really nice dinner with perfectly cooked steak. There ... I booked to stay at the Holiday Inn Express with my boyfriend last October, it was booked for the Formula 1 weekend. I was that astonished with the price I called the hotel to ensure there weren't any hidden fees. If I remember correctly I actually called twice. Back in May, I wanted to check my booking (because I still couldn't believe I was getting such an excellent deal) and to see if I could pay in full so I wouldn't have to worry about it while at the hotel. It was very clear there was an e... Read more

Stayed for 3 nights over Grand Prix weekend. Cannot praise the staff enough, helpful and courteous. Trying to sleep however was a different matter. The beds are really hard and even the 'soft' choice of pillow was too hard. Was like sleeping with your head on a brick! Also could hear the tv noise coming from other rooms. Again not helpful when trying to sleep! Will definitely be choosing a different hotel next year.

The choice of room rates were deceptive. "single room" and "standard room" we selected the standard room and upon arrival was given single rooms. When a complaint was raised with the general manager she wasn't very customer first sentric and instead tried to give excuses and place the blame on us. She did everything she could to avoid giving a refund for the deciet but did finally give 50% which still isn't good enough. This hotel completely ripped us off.

This place is shocking and the staff are beyond rude. On arrival we were told our double room wasn't available and we'd be in twin beds. Then an hour into our sleep the reception staff knock on our door saying they've put us in the wrong room and wanted me to show them emails proving I'd booked. We could not fault this hotel. The staff were all pleasant and helpful and the room was very comfortable and had a good shower. Internet connection was excellent. The included breakfast was of very good quality, and staff ensured that all items were available. There is adequate free parking. The hotel is 2-3 miles out of the town. There seemed to be plenty of car parks in Northampton but we went in by bus, the stop being just 5 minutes walk from the hotel.

Lovely hotel, easy to find, just off the M1. Close to a really good diner called Buddies USA on the A45. Hotel was clean and well maintained. Very welcome by night staff and everything to hand. Excellent gluten free breakfast and plenty of fresh fruit. My main comment is that the lighting is so dark in the dining room. When I had left my coat in the taxi, and it was getting chilly, one of the lovely staff said she could give me a coat that had belonged to her mother, and it was going to a car boot sale!
