After family booking this for us due to an awful experience at another hotel. We arrived here to be greeted by friendly staff, Michael on reception was exceptional! The room we were given was actually already occupied but this was not an issue and they gave us another room quickly! The bar prices are reasonable and the free breakfast is more than adequate! Would highly recommend and will be booking a return visit for next month Thank you!

I stayed here for one night with my two children. The hotel has a good central location near the train station, but as other reviewers have pointed out it is noisy. We were on the fifth floor but the noise during the night (it was a Saturday) was annoying. I understand it is in the middle of Newcastle and noise is to be expected, but even the traffic was loud. I have stayed in other central hotels which are not as loud. The breakfast was very average. The cooked options were sausages, bean... Read more

Excellent service from staff, very accommodating and professional. Really lovely room. Only gripes are one that can't be helped; location, even 5 floors up it sounded like New York rather than Newcastle outside, with very loud drunken girls screaming at 2 in the morning and police sirens hurtling by. But nothing the hotel can do about that... My second gripe though they really could. The breakfast was average; but the coffee was not. It was the worst kind of machine made dispensed by a rect... Stayed here for a night out in Newcastle and got it for a really good price. It's in a great location near the station but also hardly a walk from town as well to get back. Definitely recommend if it's cheap and cheerful you're after.

When we arrived the lady was so lovely and couldn't fault her, the rooms were nice for the price! When we came back from a night out, the manager was so rude and abrupt and the bouncers were rude not good

Staff on at the time had a jokewith you they were so friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was nice but there was'nt much choice really. Also,if you are parking car park just at the side of the hotel but you pay £6 but if u av a blue badge there is no need to pay. Also the bathroom very modern and clean rooms also tidy and good size. This hotel was somewhat hard for me to find. I was tired, and walking from the train station, and kept following my gps but it kept landing me in front of the casino. I have no freakin clue why, so if you get lost, look for Akbars. And look for city quadrant (apartments). There's also a chippy close by that is blazing rainbows you can't miss it! The direct neighborhoods a little grubby (lots of adult stores IYKWIM), but feels friendly. Walking distance to MANY things. I wish I had the money and ... Read more

Stayed here for a week while working in Long Benton. Basic clean tidy rooms. Liked the shower. Decent breakfast but a bit limited in choice. Friendly staff. The only down side was the noise from the main road there's a hospital nearby and I was woken a few times throughout my stay with the sound of sirens. The best thing about this hotel is the location right in the city centre. We were out every night for dinner because the hotel doesn't have a restaurant. Loads of good places to eat and drin...
