This was a one night stay, booked only a few days before and really good value at £59 including breakfast. The hotel is on the outskirts near university buildings. Not much around it. The decor is a little dated now however the staff were great. The bed was comfy, the room was quiet and the breakfast was really good. Plenty of choice and good quality food. Would stay again.

Hotel was offering a Bletchley Park deal. The Hilton is ideally located for easy access to BP and the Compuer Muesum. Hotel in the middle of the week is a busy business facility. While busy, it was well run and the staff were excellent and could not do enough for you. Room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was very good, especially the cooked to order omelettes.

This is a hotel to go to if you like it quiet, or if you have to go to the Open University. It's located in the middle of nowhere (just like the OU) so don't book in if you're looking for Milton Keynes night life (is there such a thing?). Rooms are large and beds comfortable. Dinner and breakfast are much better than they were a couple of years ago; I think management must have changed. All staff are very well trained and extremely helpful. Stay at the hotel for one night as we were on a work night out. Reception staff very friendly. Room clean and tidy. Couldn't get the bathroom plug to work no matter which way I pushed it it wouldn't open so unfortunately I had to leave my shower water in it. I didn't use any of the leisure facilities as I was only there for one night. I can't believe you have to pay for WIFI in the room, seems a bit odd as most hotels have free WIFI in the rooms. Stayed in many Hilton hotels and this is not Hilton standard! The checking went very smooth, receptionist very friendly. When entering our room, there was someone inside still making up the bed. He apologised and worked really hard to do it asap. This was not a problem at all for us, not the end of the world to wait a few minutes. The room looked tired (especially bathroom), but again that's ok. The problem was that there was NO AIR-CONDITION) which is not acceptable for the price you pay d... Read more

We stayed at this hotel to be able to attend a party in Milton Keynes. I was not acknowledged as a HHONORS member at check in and the receptionist seemed bored with her job. I also did not receive the complimentary bottled water in my room. Those were the only two negatives of our stay. The swimming pool was nice and quiet and empty. The restaurant was basic, but the food was good. I'd stay here again.

Have just spent the weekend at this hotel. Some good bits, but also so really not Hilton-like aspects. So what was good? Good location, nice grounds, free parking (and lots of it), can't comment on the evening food as did not eat there, but breakfast was as expected. Nice, professional staff. The pool was nice too - although the pool area was very hot, whilst the water seemed oddly cold. Couldn't quite work that one out! The hotel staff are very nice and helpful but the hotel is quite shabby and needs a good clean. Our bathroom was dirty upon arrival, but soon rectified and we were offered another room. Staff were very apologetic and offered wine at our evening meal which was nice... but the food wasn't :-( I had the buffet, which, looked and tasted 'old' and not much selection for a 'buffet'. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Hilton in Milton-Keynes. First, the hotel is within easy walking distance of the Open University where I had a 3-day meeting. Second, the large bed was extremely comfortable, certainly the best of the five hotels I stayed in on my trip. Third, they served an excellent breakfast with a wide variety of choices. Most business travellers need decent, reliable WIFI, it's now regarded as essential. This hotel doesn't provide that, which leads to a lot of wasted time, falling off then reregistering for their network. More generally, this is not kind of hotel you expect from Hilton, as regards state of rooms, restaurant quality and, most importantly, customer service. It is 'currently' being refurbished (but has been in the 7 months I've been a regular visitor) so maybe some things will improve. Personall... Read more

I booked this hotel on a recent trip to Cranfield. The hotel is in a quiet area and has all the usual Hilton facilities. The staff are very helpful even giving out extra cold bottles of water on departure as the day was forecast to be the hottest of the year so far. With the hotel being within a good location to Gullivers Land, I found it a shame the hotel has closed the pool to make way for a bigger gym. Our choice in booking this hotel rested purely on the fact it was a family orientated hotel and the kids could go for a swim. Its a shame this decision has been made. Overall the staff are excellent, breakfast is superb, the evening meal somewhat overpriced for adults but very reasonable for kids.

Recent one night visit. Room ok and bed comfortable. Had a meal in the restaurant, felt menu was limited. Chose the Ham Hock Salad- it was nothing special, a bit expensive for what it was, the ham was not warm (as described on menu) and there wasn't much meat. Breakfast however was excellent with a very comprehensive buffet selection and friendly and attentive staff. Overall a satisfactory stay.

First of all I have to say that the staff are fantastic, they couldn't be more attentive without being too cloying if they tried. The decor is very good although the empty pint glasses and dirty dishes outside room doors were a bit of a turn off especially as they were there when I arrived on the Weds and we're still there on the late Thursday evening however the biggest issue for me were the beds. We were greeted by a lovely member of staff offering canapés, which were very nice, but difficult to manage with luggage and checking-in routine. I had asked for a room with a walk in shower but got a room with a shower over a bath, sorry! Our package deal provided dinner up to value of £20.00 each plus a bottle of wine. We stayed here for 1 night before a Christening, we were charged £75, and then when we checked in we were told that it was £10 each for breakfast! WTH, that was a bit much, the room was OK, bit dusty and the TV reception was awful... We ordered room service and felt this was very expensive for what it was, £14 for a burger and some fries, plus £5 tray service.

Stayed for one evening at this hotel. Room was of a large size. Bed was comfortable however very noisy when turning over, it looked as if it had been previously repaired. Did not eat in the restaurant during the evening having chosen to eat out due to issues with their fire alarms. Due to the inconvenience I was given free drinks at the bar. Extensive and good quality choice at breakfast. Would stay again. One down side, no air conditioning although there was a fan provided in the room.

I stayed at this hotel on a business trip. I was surprised as the decor is incredibly dated for a Hilton so was a bit disappointed. I had a comfortable night sleep and will say that the staff were superb. I think for the price it really needs a revamp as there are many other hotels out there offering better more modern value.
