Went with my partner for a long weekend, we both had a really nice time, lovely pool and jacuzzi and a well kitted out gym. Good food, with friendly service, room service was very efficient and they went the extra mile ensuring everything was ok. Pavlos was very helpful and informative and was very pleasant to talk to, he made our weekend by taking the time to talk with us, the kind of person I would like to have working for me. Expensive . Pool very average . In fact everything average . Check in staff average . Rooms average unless I suppose you have loads of money . It's a shame you have pay to park there when you are staying aswell I thought this was shocking £15 . I don't mind paying when I'm not there and on holiday but I was getting back in car next day ??

I often work in Manchester so took the opportunity to stay over with my wife for night. Check in went well with a friendly receptionist and we toddled off to our room. The room itself was clear and comfortable with a city view of Manchester's rooftops. A good mini bar and tea making facilities but no biscuits, hay-Ho. We ate out as none of the hotel facilities appealed. For breakfast we both went for the smoked haddock and poached eggs. The haddock was very tasty but warm, not hot while the e... Read more

We stayed one night here Sunday after the Coldplay concert at the Etihad - The hotel is large, well laid out, with a good restaurant, a spa, nice bar area and the room we had, an Al Fresco suite, was spacious, well laid out and furnished and clean with a great shower area. The room was quiet but the bed was very hard with a strangely large gap between the mattress and the wall, which housekeeping stuffed cushions in on turndown !? It is located in a great area, easily accessible from Manchester ... Read more

Just returned from a 2 night stay in this fabulous hotel. Wouldn't usually choose a 5 * hotel but due to The Stone Roses playing at the Etihad we had no choice, which was lucky for us. Arrived at the hotel at 11.30 to be advised our rooms were not ready however they had 2 rooms on different floors which were ready. I cannot fault this hotel on one thing, beautiful rooms, friendly staff and great location. Breakfast is definitely worth getting up for. Will definitely be returning in the near fut... Read more

the hotel is nice with good staff and good rooms. We sat at the bar and ordered a few rounds of drinks which we signed for. Because we were sitting at the bar we did not add a gratuity. When we checked out we found £12.00 had been added to our bar bill as an arbitrary gratuity. The receptionist seemed embarrassed by this policy

Had a lovely stay at the Radisson Blue but just a little disappointed with Breakfast. I was not expecting self service buffet style. Although the staff were lovely and trying hard to please everything was a bit chaotic and rushed. The food had been standing for a while. I had to ask for eggs and make my own toast. The bread choice was poor. The tea was weak. This did not feel like a 5 star breakfast

Overall everything is all good. The hotel is very centrally located, few miles walk to almost everywhere, very easily could grab a taxi right in front of the front door. Staffs are all nice especially the Concierge team who are really great from the day we arrived until the day we're leaving. Decoration and vibe is all good. Spacious room, especially love the bathroom with all of the facilities. Will definitely be back!

The hotel is very well located, a few minutes walk from the shops and city centre, we were delighted with everything. The breakfasts we... Read more

Visited Manchester my home town after many years and stopped here while exhibiting at Manchester Central. There is no parking on site but the hotel offers valet parking or there is a discount at Q-Parks which are only a few minutes walk away... Rooms are clean and presented in a manner you would expect from this grade of hotel. Although it didn't present a problem there were a few details with the room that maintenace could have dealt with. I.e. Skirting board lose and fell off the wall when kno... Read more

We have stayed at the Radisson Blu Edwardian several times before and previously have had an excellent stay. This was our preferred hotel, when visiting Manchester. However I would be unlikely to return in the future, based on our most recent stay. We arrived at the hotel around 11 am and left our luggage with the very helpful concierge, before heading into town for lunch. We returned to the hotel at approximately 2:30 pm and enquired at reception if a room was ready, as we were earlier than t... Read more

We went to the hotel for my hen weekend. Staff were great Paulo in the Steak & Lobster was brill made the time in the restaurant fab. Barnaby was always ready to help on the front desk. Spa was awful - had no idea who booked what - overcharged lost deposits for treatments. Told my friends that they were not booked in for treatments. I booked afternoon tea in the Opus One restaurant for my daughters baby shower and can honestly say they couldn't have made our experience any better. From the moment we walked into the restaurant we were greeted by smiles - Thomas was our waiter and he was absolutely lovely, nothing was too much trouble. He even gave my daughter a lovely treat (see picture). The afternoon tea itself was really nice and they catered very well for us vegetarians! The choice of food and beverages was great. I can h... We stayed here at the beginning of October for a family wedding, after travelling down from Scotland and arriving 8 hours later than planned due to flight delays, we eventually checked in at 9.30pm. Check in was fine, went smoothly although we were disappointed we couldn't be nearer our family (they were on the 11th floor, we were given the last room in the hotel on the 3rd). We proceeded to our room where I was surprised to find twin beds. I booked the room in January, via booking.com and paid ... Read more

Second time here. Rude woman delivered breakfast in the morning. When I mean rude I mean grumpy as hell and clearly never worked in service industry before (Needs sacking!) Issues with shower flooding (twice), card keys not working (Either of them) to get in the room. Checking in took 25 minutes and still was wrong. Could not charge anything to room as checked in incorrectly (Yes credit card was given). Room tiny, dated and not as nice as the first time (lack of pillows, throws and handles ... Read more

Booked this hotel as had stayed before. Excellent city centre location and great architecture of buildings. Classy bar with good selection of drinks. Was unimpressed that was seemingly "caught out" by booking a room with a view which did not include breakfast (an extra £20 per person approx) but did include a £15 complimentary drinks voucher which we happily used at the bar. However we were charged a service charge for being served drinks directly at the bar and collecting them ourselves which... Read more

Booked a room with a double bed for me and my girlfriend for New Years Eve. We turned up and we're told they had over booked and had to allocate us a room with two single beds? Really?! Anyway after speaking with the manager the hotel refused to upgrade us (it was there fault!!) to the next room so we could have a double/larger bed but instead said we would have to pay? We didn't really have a choice so paid for the upgrade and that was it. Room was nice but just disappointing how they acted and... Read more

May have marked a bit harshly but this claims to be a 5* hotel so basing it on that. We have stayed at the Edwardian Leicester Square so expected a similar standard here but we were disappointed. Firstly the staff script which happened twice while checking in and being shown the room, ' Business or pleasure answered both, I see you are in a suite is it a special treat'. Hotel was nice but there was a strange smell on our floor almost sewage like but when we were in the room in went completely. My biggest grievance with the hotel was the concierge Paul who when i called to ask a relatively easy question about the local area (does the MEN arena have a cloak room) he lied/guessed rather than saying "I didn't know" (FYI they don't) and it made our night rather inconvenient. The hotel was nice with a good breakfast, nice spa and good rooms

Stayed one week at the Radisson Blu Edwardian in Manchester. King size bed, very clean and modern room. Turn down service nightly if you wish. Room is a bit small, but this is England. Wonderful front desk staff and concierge (Gary was extremely helpful). Very central location, close to many restaurants, shops, the John Rylands library, art galleries, Chinatown all within walking distance. A bit pricey, but you get what you pay for, and this is one of only two 5 star hotels in Manchester.

We have stayed here on a number of occasions and it has never let us down. The location is fantastic. The rooms are well equipped, the gym is ok, but the food is a bit of a let down (so eat out!).
