I stayed in this hotel for a night before flying to Spain. Arrived at the hotel and it looked impressive. Rooms were nice, clean and spacious, I had booked for a meal thinking it was going to be a romantic meal getting us into holiday mood. We arrived at the restaurant and the room was a waste. there was a huge room with a lovely bar but the meal was found to be less impressive, It turned out to be a buffet style meal with only four choice which was dry chicken on he bone. We stayed at the hotel before flying out from Manchester airport. The room & parking was very reasonable and the transfer was very convenient and economical. No problems with check in and the rooms were fine. Clean and well appointed. The family room was very spacious and comfortable. After a quick freshen up we had a delicious meal in the restaurant. The waiters were friendly and service was great. Four meals with a few drinks was well priced and we thoroughly enjoyed it all. We had a nightcap ... Read more

On arrival they say they have over 600 car parking places and they probably do however most are taken by people on holiday leaving parking tight and a nightmare at night. First impressions are everything so when you walk in and the staff are clearly chewing gum which is visible it's not a good start. My first room was tiny I could touch both walls with my arms out stretched with a single bed and dated furniture. As the first 2 nights where charged at £40 and an increasing price to to £135 on... Stayed on a Saturday Night. Was busy with a wedding, so was dreading the noise. But we didn't get any! Slept very well. Beds hard but comfy, shower was excellent (256). Doors did bang a lot, but that is due to the heaviness of the fire doors. Breakfast was excellent. All in all a good stay. Would recommend.

We've just returned from a four day National Holidays coach trip to the North West visiting Liverpool, Chester and The Salford Quays. We were interested to see how the hotel was as the break was so cheap. Fantastic is the answer. The hotel was lovely, our room was spacious and very clean and the food was tasty. The drinks were reasonably priced. The hotel is used by people who use the airport so there was a bit of noise during the early hours and a disco but that did not bother us as our room ... Read more

We stayed here 20th June 2016, it was okay, the room was nice, bed wasn't that comfy, good job we were up early to get our flight. The hotel does a transfer but it's £6 per adult so we decided to book a local taxi, which was cheaper. Glad I was only here for a few hours, it was very basic.

Stayed overnight at this hotel while connecting between flights at Manchester airport. First impressions of the hotel on arrival were maintained throughout. Stayed in hotel prior to early flight from Manchester airport. Booked as part of deal with airport parking. On arrival had to queue for quite a while to check in, then told lift not working, so had to carry all our luggage to the 3rd floor. Room was basic and dated but clean. There was a wedding reception downstairs with very loud music, this continued until 1am and kept us both awake. At least it was cheap and parking was at airport terminal. We won't be staying again.

It's hard to say nice things about the whole property when we only saw a room and didn't use the facilities. Nevertheless, room cleanliness is useful bench-mark to score the overall stay. Rather than waffle, I hope these pros and cons are useful. Positives; - Price. The room was averagely priced for what was a last minute booking. We have stayed her 3 times before so we're expecting better for our money.. Arrived at 2.15 am and was put in a room that stunk of stale weeks old cigarettes and had a very loud noise of a boiler or something.. was told they are full so couldn't move.. after 5 minutes a 4 poster room became available £185 per night but would put us in there. ( as if by magic) .. 2 of posts had chunks out of them and still a musty smell.. the whole hotel needs a good revamp and bringing into the 21st century a... Read more

We stayed here on the 9/7/16 for 1 night before flying the next day we were originally meant to be staying at the Britannia airport hotel but received a phone call a few days before to move us here as the original one we booked was full of refugees and they had no space. Upon arrival we were checked in by a woman that could barley speak any English and we couldn't understand much of what she was staying. After entering our room we had been put in a double room when we had booked a twin room luck... Read more

We have stayed here on a couple of previous occasions and have always had a good stay. However on this occasion i requested in advance a big, airy room near a lift as i am having treatment at the Christie Hospital. On arrival we were given one of their very small and dingy rooms which is a good hike to get to. The girl behind the desk did immediately change our room to a big one by the lift on the fourth floor. It was a nice, clean room but needs updating and the mattress was old and uncomfortab... Read more

Just a one night stay before airport, parking was easy just find a space and go. Room was executive but however stains like coffee dripping down bathroom door and just wiped away with wet wipe so made me feel like hadn't bothered cleaning room also same marks on leather chairs. Jacuzzi in bathroom didn't work and filter for it was gross, restaurant we ate in was pizza one and food was well below average but for a cheap nighter ok don't upgrade not worth it but be aware I ordered my transfer to ... We stayed here before flying from manchester airport, and the parking at the hotel was included. This was good value for money compared with other hotels. The transfer cost is not included in the hotel price which was a little annoying, and we opted to pay £12 each way for taxis instead of £18 return for a family of 4, this saved us waiting for the coach transfer. The room was a family room, large sized, with a double / king bed, bunk beds, a table and 2 chairs, plus a dresser, large wardrob... Read more

Booked this hotel for one night while crossing through Manchester to Snowdonia as it was most economically available hotel online in a short lead time. Checking in was fast and I must commend the honesty of the gentlemen at the reception who called me in the room after check in informing me that I may have forgotten my cell phone at the front desk, Which was right and I collected my phone from him after a while. Buffet breakfast was OK...but good staff, very limited considering the size and cla... Read more
