We have stayed in most of the bigger hotels in Manchester and thought Arora offered great value. Four star standards at a great price for Manchester. Our only suggestion would be minibar in room/choice of mini bar being filled on check in. There is a fridge. Also we stayed two nights so would have liked water and coffee topped up. But the room was very clean and spacious (king size room). Bed comfortable. Staff were without exception, spot on. Bradley on reception deserves a mention. Also Sean w... Read more

We stayed here for two nights this weekend and it was an excellent experience from the start. The staff at the front desk were friendly, enthusiastic and helpful and the cookies on arrival were a lovely touch :-)! Our room (002) was great- very clean, spacious and quiet. The location is perfect, walking distance to everything we wanted to do and it was so nice to have a base to go back to during the day and somewhere to relax in before going out in the evening. Stayed 1 night midweek in a standard double for £107 , safe in the room, free wifi, tea & coffee, iron and ironing board. The bed was really comfy and had a good sleep. The bar on the lower ground is nice and we have been many times before as they serve some good cocktails. Breakfast could have been better, and one of the waitresses was a bit to eager she started clearing our table whilst we were still eating.

This was a great place to stay just off the plane from the States. Nice room, fantastic location, and the service is great. I owe the team at the front desk a huge "Thank you!!!" for helping me out when I picked up my rental car. The hotel is clean and functional but nothing special in my opinion. On checking in, I requested a very quiet room and was sadly given a room on the ground floor, street level. The room itself was very nice, large and spacious but sadly, it being a Saturday night meant that large groups of drunk people were walking right past the window shouting...I ended up asking to switch rooms in the night and the next room I got on the 6th floor was smaller but perfectly fine and very quiet. We have a good stay at the Arora, the only problem was that the bar was often closed early. I don't know many Manchester hotels who close their bar to residents so early. Having booked a weekend away, we were hoping to come back to the bar, having had a great night there on day one. We were really quiet disappointed to find that. Otherwise the room was very clean and staff excellent - polite and interested in our stay. We have no complaints about that. We would stay again with no qualms, but do... Read more

Checked in for a night in MANCHESTER before flying out the next day, which coincidentally is what I think a lot of guests are doing as this place seems to be popular with airline crews. In the past two years I have stayed at this hotel probably 30 times. It is my first choice hotel in Manchester. Great location, the rooms are very well equipped and the breakfast offering one of the best - the raspberry smoothie is just Devine. I just find the check in and check out so slow. Particularly the latter, an express check out would be most welcome as typically I have to queue to check out, the staff spend time faffing on the computer and then announce all fine nothing to pay.

Arora has a great location in central Manchester and it's pretty good value for money. It is however showing it's age a bit with some of the fixtures and fittings.
