Our staff has been working within Luton for several weeks, staying in several hotels. Because of the nature of our business the bookings have been very last minute, hence a change in hotels. I sent two members of staff to stay at the hotel half board, the rooms allocated to them were disgusting. My colleague reported to reception to inform them that neither rooms have any heating. He was given a portable heater and sent on his way. The heater had an horrific smell and didn't have any PAT tes... Read more

I stayed in the Stuart a few years ago when I found it to be quite nice and good value for money at 40 pounds a night, However at 70 pounds it was not good value. My room was freezing cold and I had to ask the staff to put the heating on as there was no means of doing so in the room. The sheets were a horrible and uncomfortable polyester. I would have liked to have eaten in the hotel but one look at the menu told me how little thought and care were going into the food and I was actually... Read more

The Stuart hotel is a short walk from Luton town centre so handy location however there were several issues with this place. You are greeted by illuminated letters reading 'Stu Ho' on the exterior as there were several lights out that had not been replaced. Lighting issues continued indoors where I encounter 5 flickering lightbulbs on the way to my room. Check in - waited several minutes for someone to attend to us. very uninterested and unapologetic staff. The card machine wasn't working prop... Read more

I had the worst stay! Room was dirty and very bad decorating with cracks in the wall and chips all taken out of the table. I went to ask the manager to change rooms as I paid £100, he thought I was from children's social services!! He told me the room had already been upgraded and if I had a problem call the company I booked with to get a refund. Not even a sorry, will never stay again

Confirmation email said breakfast included however in the morning we were told our booking did not include breakfast and a full English breakfast would be £8 each !! Rooms were a bit grubby and staff weren't exactly friendly. Wouldn't recommend this place

The Only Good thing about this Hotel is that you wont find any Rats . The Rats wouldn't lower themselves to come anywhere this squalid dump . Sadly I did . Freezing cold , freezing cold water. Filthy sheets, Skid marks in the toilet ( Yuk) and grime on floor . The receptionist has a remote device for switching heating in room off. Should be shut down . Directed my complaint To Mr Patel the owner . After intial indifference he did refund me ( like a scalded cat ) when he realised how seriou... Read more

Stayed here for one night before flying from Luton. The hotel itself is nice enough. Room was reasonably spacious and clean. Had an early (0500) start, but was woken by some sort of delivery vehicle being unloaded below my room, and a couple of noisy chaps chatting away. Even with the windows shut they were still noisy. Other than that all good though.

We stayed here as a family party of 8 in 4 rooms, primarily because it was the closest late booking available to Woburn on the Silverstone weekend. The rooms were £85 per room bed only. The hotel is on one of the main streets and has limited parking available at weekends using an accompanying company's parking. Fortunately we got the last two car parking spaces - I am not sure where else there is to park. The rooms we had didn't have double glazing so there was road noise. Overall though, t... Read more

Dirty. Our room smelt of damp. Friend's room smelt of fags. Carpets stained and needed hoovering, mould in bathroom, corridors and other public places a mess. Noisy from inside and out. Pillows as thin a tissues. Needs a full refurb.

Rooms are really outdated but at least reasonably spacious and so so clean, staff is actually quite polite and helpful but everything else is terrible. Noise from AC and traffic outside, swarms of giant rats are running around dumpsters, whole building smells of cigarettes and looks unclean, breakfast is bad, prices are way too high for what it is + it's in Luton (never go to Luton unless you have to!)

spent a night and very late night checked in but overall , staff was nice . the room was clean but very low wifi reception so i couldn't be able to use wifi at all. it s a place suitable for business and transit passenger, easy to catch cab to airport, just 10 minites away.

Good location for the airport and only 10 min walk to train station which was handy. We were only in the hotel for a short time- main issue I had was the smell of stale smoke as soon as you enter hotel and the same with the hotel room really off putting. The room itself was extremely worn down but clean- in desperate need of TLC! Noise from window was very loud so couldn't keep the window open to help with the smell of the room. Hotel staff very friendly and welcoming.

Great staff members, stayed here a few times. 5 minute walk away from the station and 2 minutes from the town centre. nice bar for a few drinks before heading out although there is not much to do in Luton for nightlife.

OK I'll start with a good point. Very close to local transport network. However it's all down hill from there. The room was absolutely freezing! I had to call the main desk to ask them to turn off the air conditioning in the middle of October. This combined with the single glazed window meant that I had to sleep fully dressed in order to get any sleep at all, and caused me to be Ill for the rest of the next week. My room door would not lock from the inside as the bolt had been broken off. ... Read more

It's difficult to expand upon the title without conjuring detailed images that will haunt you for the rest of your life but suffice to say this is not a place I would want to stay in again. The most annoying thing is it could be a really great hotel if more attention was paid to repairs and cleaning. Very dissatisfied!
