Stayed here for 2 nights for a mini break. We went into London both days. There was a handy shuttle bus the to the Luton parkway that was only £1 each. The train was £14 each return into london st pancreas which we didn't find too bad. The hotel was clean and the staff were friendly. We had breakfast both mornings which was nice the only downfall to me with the breakfast was they didn't do bacon on the hot side or fried egg. What was there was lovely. We didn't have a evening meal as such as I... Read more

We had an overnight stay, and would definitely recommend this place. The room was reasonably generous in size, the beds comfortable, and more importantly, the single beds were approximately the width of 2/3 an average double bed. Plenty of space in the shower, two chairs- one a very comfortable high backed office chair, all in all brilliant value for money - we paid £69!!!

Room very clean well presented. Pillows not comfortable but bed and duvet good. TV not too good as screen had several vertical black lines down it. This is surely something housekeeping could pick up. Was woken at 11.30 pm by some very loud guests and the curtains didn't meet in the middle properly. Terrible nights sleep! This being said. The breakfast was excellent! Staff helpful. Stay not improved by builders starting work at 08:30. Check out not interested! Close to airport and I would return... Read more

We stayed for our flight out in the morning. It was ok and what I expect from a hotel. We got two rooms with an adjoining door which was nice. What is really bad was the breakfast and food in general. The breakfast was horribly down to the muffins. The night before we ate as well and it was ok at best. Very slow kitchen.

Travelled with son and used as stop over to get to Legoland. Typical Holiday Inn express decent sized rooms with comfortable beds, shower, freeview TV and free internet. Rooms recently redecorated in new style. Free breakfast whilst not full English is good with juices, cereals, pastries and breads, fruit, youghart and scrambled egg and sausages. It is self-service. Stayed here with my husband, baby and in laws for one night before our flight out of Luton Airport. Very close to airport, about 10 mins walk, we waited a little while for the shuttle bus but then decided just to walk, which was or actually easier than loading all our luggage on and off the bus for such a short journey. Hotel is getting renovated, and unfortunately the new rooms aren't ready yet, however we found the original room we had to be lovely and clean and comfortable. We also dined in ... Read more

This place is so over priced because they have the location right next to Luton. They think they can get away with charging £145 a night for a bed and bathroom. It's clean at least but they should not charge that rate. I did over hear a lady being offered a room for £100 at the desk. Luton is currently a building site and u can't walk anywhere without being run over. Breakfast was crap coffee and a croissant.

Though not at all cheap, this is in a great location. It is modern and fresh, in fact workmen were upgrading whilst I was there. Dinner was tasty and reasonably priced, and breakfast was the usual HIX fair. My gripe - well the fire alarm went off around dinner time, so we all evacuated - all except the workmen. I observed them continue as if this was quite normal - though obviously the hotel staff didn't say this, in fact they said nothing except we could come back in!!

The biggest redeeming thing about this place is the locality to the airport considering the mayhem at Luton airport . We booked a double room with sofa bed . Is a nice hotel. Certainly had a more premium feel than premier Inn etc. There is nothing really around the hotel to do, but I guess that's because it's a short stay peyote to flying out. Was a comfortable sleep, but only thing that let it down was being woken by 3 drink toffs at 2am singing loudly and banging on the doors. Luckily they could run fast because they woke my children up and scared my daughter, so I chased them in my boxers down the hall. Other than that it was great.

Positives ?? Location, quality of room, value and free wifi. Negatives ?? Well below average breakfast if you have it before 6.30am. Details We stayed for 1 night in October 2016. The hotel is a 7 minute walk from the airport. It is modern, smart, with a reasonably sized room. There was the usual TV, tea and coffee making facilities, good sized bed, modern bathroom. We paid £55 for 1 night booked well in advance. This was very good value compared to many places. Wi-Fi was good and w... Read more

Modern hotel with a restaurant and bar very near to Luton airport in fact we walked to departures. Useful for early morning flights with clean utility rooms and friendly supportive staff. It's very reasonably priced and an ideal stop for Luton airport.

Warning!! London Luton Airport is a bit of a nightmare at present. That being said, the Holiday Inn Express is a place of calm amid the madness. Friendly staff welcomed us after a 7 minute walk from the terminal, to a clean fair-sized room, which was gladly quiet with working air-conditioning. Wifi was good. Had a meal which was of excellent quality, but rather pricey (like others in the chain). All in all a good stay and recommended because of its proximity to the airport.

Lets face it... this brand is not designed nor aimed for the luxury market. Having said that this property meets expectations and provides tue necessary amenities for airport stays, which are on the whole measured in hours rather than days! We stayed here twice, one night each in consecutive weeks, and each time for approx. 10 hours only. The rooms are adequate with comfortable beds and plenty of hot water, and breakfast is more than acceptable. Add this to the location, being just 10 minutes wa... Read more

Used their car parking facility and the shuttle bus drops off outside hotel, (although there is a bit of a walk from the stoplight around to the hotel entrance so be aware if you have any difficulty walking). Good check- in and very nice, comfortable room. Great bed....had wonderful sleep. Food and drink in hotel is a little more expensive than the high street, as you'd expect, however, had a nice meal and would have easily cost the same to have eaten elsewhere when you add in the time and petro... My sister and I stayed here for the night after returning from Northern Cyprus in the early hours of the morning. The staff on reception were so courteous and helpful. The room was clean and tidy with everything we required. The next day we had an excellent breakfast included in the room/parking price. I can't rate this hotel highly enough. It more than served the purpose for us and the staff were exceptional!

Stayed here for 2 nights. Great room, food and ambience. Rooms are lovely, a big comfy bed and en suite bathroom with shower toilet and wash basin. You can sit in your room and watch tv or go downstairs into the main area and watch the world go by. Downstairs has the bar and food areas and lots of seating with tables. There is no room service but food and drinks can be ordered at the bar and then you can take to your room. Breakfast is a selection of cereals fruits etc and a choice of 3 hot item... Read more

stayed for one night due to having a early flight. Room was very spacious and everything you need for one4 night. we had a meal in the hotel which was awful. the food was cold and overcooked, not a great choice of draft beers etc. we only had the continental breakfast as we had to leave at 5am not a great choice. nothing to do in the area as the hotel is a 15 mins walk to airport.

We arrived with low expectations and were really pleasantly surprised! We stayed for one night before an early flight the next morning and in spite of it being really busy in the lobby on arrival (and this was about 9pm), our room was so quiet. The bed was really comfortable and the room a great size. We left pretty early but were very grateful of the hot breakfast available at 6.30am. We would definitely stay here again! I've given it 5 stars because it does exactly what it says on the tin - a ... Read more

Stayed for one night on 14 Oct at this hotel as we had an early flight. Booking in was quick and easy. Staff on reception were very nice and efficient. Had a room on second floor overlooking airport runway. Room was very clean and modern, nice comfy bed and could choose firm or soft pillows. Bathroom was good with lovely white towels. Ordered meal in restaurant which was very tasty. Hotel was busy. Didn't have time in morning for the continental breakfast as had to be at airport at 5. Got taxi ... Read more

Recently stayed here for an early morning flight, only to be welcomed to a complete building site upon leaving the lift on our floor. At First I thought we had pushed the wrong button and on the wrong floor but, no !! We had to to walk through the bomb site to get to our room with wires, holes and electric tools every where and with a very inquisitive 2 year this was in no way practical with all our suit cases. And I'm sure this was no way legal and a serious health and safety matter.

After a great stay last time, thought I wouldn't go anywhere else. Perfect, warm and very welcoming check in by Jenna. Wish my staff was that good!!! Decided to have dinner, the lady at the bar seemed to have trouble with cracking a smile and almost seemed annoyed to have customers. Ordered a steak medium well, got a charcoaled piece of meat with the burned and blackened side plated to face down. I turned it after the first bite to see if it was my tastebuds that were confused or if it was inde... Read more

We've stayed here a few times, and this time was the best. Fast friendly and efficient booking in and we were given a ground floor room. The rooms have been refurbished and are now of a very high standard. The design of the bedroom and bathroom is excellent, worthy of a much higher level hotel. The toilet seat even had a slow closing mechanism. Total silence in the room with no noise from outside or other rooms. We tried the restaurant, and the vegetarian options were varied and we took the Soup... Read more

No one would choose Luton Airport as a destination but if you need an overnight stay before or after a flight then this is a good option. There's a buzz to the place, with passengers coming and going at all times of the day and night, and it's note a place to dwell, but the public areas are efficient and acceptable for a stopover. The hotel is just a ten minute walk from the terminal building so unless the weather is poor you might just as well walk as wait for the bus.

If accommodation is required at or near Luton Airport, you could go a long way to improve on this offer. Within 10 minutes walking distance of the airport, this recently modernised budget hotel is excellent. I found the staff cheerful, helpful and good ambassadors for the hotel brand. The rooms are very practical, as our the shower rooms, no bath tubs, the beds very comfortable and the breakfast terribly good, especially as it is included in the price. Our evening meal was fine, although the ... Read more

Hotel is basic airport variety but within walking distance to Luton, so that's a plus. Rooms are clean, if a bit dated and worn. Seems popular with pensioners judging from those eating in the bar. The worst is that sound insulation with other rooms is poor, which means you don't sleep well. I can literally hear every conversation taking place, every door being opened or closed, in the vicinity of my room. Also, the bar doesn't have a wine bottle opener. "We keep giving them out and we never ... Read more

Great value for money, with the convenience of being able to leave your car there in the car park, and the airport is just a 5 x minute walk away. Nice clean rooms and well appointed, and good value. Definately recommend for convenience and price
