This hotel is awesome. Staff go beyond the call of duty to ensure you are well catered for. Exceptionally friendly, polite this all added to the outstanding experience we had. Room was lovely, bed was huge and so comfy. Facilities such as a pool, very well kitted out gym and food that was top class. I could not want anything else other than wished I could have stayed longer there. Very well done to the management of the Waldorf-Hilton and all that work there. Brilliant :)

We were really looking forward to staying at the Waldorf but we're left disappointed. The location is great, very good for Covent Garden and the Embankment but that was pretty much all of the positives I could find. The staff on the whole were indifferent at best and rude at worse. Our room was the smallest I've ever stayed in in London with no bath ( but a good large shower). The gym was well equipped and the pool good though small. We were however made to feel like second class by the receptio... Read more

Great location just a few min walk from Covent Garden, excelent Gym (LA Fitness full size and well equiped proper gym), nice buisness lounge and very good service. As HHonors Diamond member i was up gradd to an executive room which was well equiped and very nice. no doubt will visit again.

As a diamond Hilton Member, before I go any further I should say my wife and I picked this Hotel to visit London for a weekend on Hilton Points, so I didn't pay for the room. HOWEVER, I often get free upgrade rooms as a Diamond member, in this Hotel ( probably due to capacity ) - I had to pay (GBP 60 per night ) for an upgrade to a King Executive Room. The room was OK, but I have had better, the bathroom was a good size and had features my wife notices like enough towels / hook to hang things on... Read more

We have just spent two nights at this hotel as I we were going to the theatre next door. On arrival we were offered an upgrade at a reduced cost. We accepted and were given a huge room overlooking the Aldwych and we also had access to the executive lounge. The one downside was the room was an accessible room. The only way this mattered was the fact it did not have a bath, shame, as after a day walking a laze in the bath is essential! The executive lounge gave us breakfast, not a great choice bu... I booked a night at the Waldorf for my wife's birthday and we both loved it. It's in such a great location, right in the heart of theatre land. Our room was lovely, such a comfy bed! We had breakfast there as well, which was one of the best i've had at any hotel, such a great varied choice. Would definitely recommend, as a treat or a base for exploring a wonderful part of London.

Don't expect more than a 3* hotel. The location is great, very convenient whether you travel for business or leisure but it's not enough any more. It's a safe place but that's it. Don't expect Hilton quality or Waldorf service. You will be disappointed.

I booked this hotel as a romantic night away in Central London for my fiance. I used Points and Money which totalled £98.10 plus 32,000points....and believe it or not it was the bargain of the century! The convenient location, being only 15mins walk from Waterloo Station, suited our needs perfectly and it was a charming walk over Waterloo Bridge too. This really is a full blown 'Waldorf' with the legendary decor and service to boot. As most of you know reading this, The Waldorf is essentially ... Read more

We spent a night here over the recent bank holiday weekend and really enjoyed ourselves. All staff were extremely helpful and the executive lounge was fantastic. Also enjoyed the gym access, spending a couple of hours in the swimming pool. Our room was smaller than I expected however, all in all, a very enjoyable experience. Cocktails from the bar were a great post-dinner treat

The location was the best part of staying at the Waldorf. Smack dab in the middle of the Theatre district, shopping and restaurants. The hotel was up to par but I preferred the interior at the Conrad. to be fair I was only there one night after a long day at stone hedge so that might effect my judgment.

Beautiful fresh, clean room. A good size room with a pretty bathroom (very small sink) with fluffy white towels and excellent quality bedding and pillows. We had a quiet room with effective air conditioning. Breakfast was a bit of a shocker though. 10 people in the q in front of us but they moved through fairly quickly. The coffee was quite simply the worst I have ever tasted in a hotel. The orange juice tasted very sugary and sweet. The plates were in a heater and were so hot we saw several peo... Read more

My family and I stayed for 1 night in an Executive King Room, as it was for a special occasion. The room was smart, with access to the Executive Lounge, providing sandwiches, cakes and beverages. The staff members were all polite and friendly. I wasn't going to do a review as there were some issues.......however when someone hoes out their way to turn things around then it is only fair to compliment. That person is Ferooz Yaquibi. He listened, took everything on board, and in true Hilton style went out his way to ensure I left a happy guest. It's not always about the issue but is more often than not about the service recovery......and Ferooz did this superbly. He is a credit to Hilton and hospitality as a whole and represents all that... Checking into the room was great, amazing service and very luxurious. The room however was small and not much space to move around. The bathroom was classic and very clean. This hotel is living on past glory and using the name "Waldorf" is deceitful. Service staff are courteous but not efficient. You do not get value for money even for the fact that there was a "sale" price during the period of my booking and stay.

We enjoyed dinner here- the only down side was the wait for our starters, although the waiter was very apologetic. The dining room looks a little tired and could do with bringing up to date with a coat of ( lighter) paint. The food was good, the waiters extremely professional and friendly. We would certainly visit again.

As the hotel has been around a while and the rate was quite low we expected it to be a bit tired. Nothing like it. All the public areas were fresh and opulent and the room was brilliant. We had a standard room which was compact but perfectly big enough. It had all the amenities and features you could want. The staff are so welcoming. we visited the restaurant recently. We found it very chilly. We had a long wait for starters, which were very nice. After another wait for the main course, it was served almost cold. It seemed difficult to get the waitress(not British) to understand the problem, but eventually she caught on and the meals were changed. We booked two nights at this hotel for a birthday celebration as it is very convenient to Covent Garden and the Royal Opera House. It's a lovely old character hotel and we had a very pleasant stay. Great location for the hotel, staff friendly and helpful. The DW pool has a marble finish effect pool side and when there is water splashed over it, it is comparable to ice rink. The room to which I was assigned was magnificent with Juliet balconies (yes, there were two) overlooking The Strand and a television in the bath!! I had access to the Executive Lounge which was very convenient for catching up with home emails and texts in a friendly environment (with refreshments!) A wonderful night spent at the Waldorf. This was our second visit which was even better than the first. The reception manager, Benjamin, made us feel very welcome right from check in and made us aware of the excellent executive lounge option which was worth the extra money. The complimentary bottle of fizz that Benjamin organised in honour of my partner's birthday was also very welcome. We shall be going back!

We were relaxed and under NO pressure to "eat up and get out" Recommend going if you can!! It is expensive but well worth it!!!

We were here for our second business event this year (our last visit being in April) and once again were afforded truly great service from the staff and a first rate buffet luncheon. The only disappointment was that I had previously reported an issue with the gents toilet and was told by Heather Stewart Welsh "thank you for bringing this to our attention and this issue will be passed to our Engineering department." Sadly, five months later the door in question was still tatty and hanging open.

The hotel is located near several theaters, restaurants and Covent garden. Everything is within a few minutes walk. The hotel can be expensive so look for offers. It's an older hotel but the rooms we were in has been remodeled. The club lounge is a disappointment. Very crowded with only so-so selection of food. Probably wouldn't pay extra to upgrade to club level. Room is clean and modern. Good noise suppression since we didn't hear much of the street noise despite being on a busy street.
