Just stated at the London edition, and on first impression it looks great! An understated entrance takes you into a fantastic entrance lobby filled with the good and the beautiful of London. All the staff were very attentive and very personable. We booked a superior room which was on the 5th floor which was a great size with an entrance hall and large bedroom and decor was very nice. The only reason for 4 stars was that all windows were fitted with black out roller blinds, 2 were fitted into the... Read more

The hotel has a beautiful entrance with a stunning lobby, bar, and a restaurant. However I was not so impressed with the room quality. I first got a room on the 2nd floor that faced a street but my bathroom floor made a weird noise when I was showering the entire time. I asked the reception later and they told me that all 2nd floor rooms have that and I could switch rooms if I could. So I switched to another room and this room had a view to the staircase inside the building so they had the curta... Read more

Think, the most welcoming hotel lobby...a snooker table, overstuffed armchairs, a hip bar and a balcony overlooking it all! The rest of the hotel does not disappoint either. The Berners Tavern is a piece of art by itself! With gorgeous paintings, prints and amazing wall castings, this is a destination restaurant by itself! The staff at the reception, the lobby bar, The Punch Room and the restaurant are really fun to talk to. There is little of the self conscious coolness common in other hip prop... Read more

Although the hotel is pricey, it is in a great location where you can walk to the major activities. Rooms were great and the staff was exceptional. We stayed two nights over the weekend and really enjoyed this hotel. This is not a hotel you should consider if you're looking for a bargain, but the hotel is actually worth the price if you are going on vacation. Would stay here again for a special occasion.

Friendliest, most welcoming staff. Gorgeous interiors, both the rooms and the lobby/bar/restaurant area. The ultimate location, walking distance to some fantastic eateries and bars in Soho. Also a stones throw from Oxford Street for some serious shopping. Will be back as soon as I can make it! Thank you for the most wonderful experience!

Clean, light, well-appointed room with very nice little amenities from the hotel. A combination of modern yet still comfortable. The lobby is beautifully designed and Berners Tavern is both a great bar environment and a great meal. The hotel staff seem to really pride themselves on service and do a good job on making a point to address guests by their name throughout their stay. The location is convenient and especially fun for anyone who likes to wander and explore Soho/Covent Garden areas.

Definitely place to be if you fancy a good cocktail or a snack at hotel lounge. London edition is much better than the NYC one. Beautiful people and elegant service. Cocktails are good, especially the Negroni :) my favourite new spot in London.

We arrived in the property close to midnight on a Saturday Nite after an 18 hours flight. The lobby bar was in a full swing. Crowded and full of beautiful people The staff was friendly and professional in welcoming us and checking us in. I felt like at home instantly. We were hungry and despite the hotel restaurant was full with the weekend crowd, the staff made sure we secured a nice table that night. Superb, friendly, lovely, professional service all around. The staff are so friendly and professional offering free chilled water and coffees (lovely tasting) with crumbly, melt in the mouth shortbread. The chunky chips are delicious as well! 1. Beautiful modern hotel. 2. Room had wood floors - love this. It has enough room for our 6 bags even with two beds. 3. Very modern and hip big bar scene. 4. The hotel and Soho area is not suited for children. (Poor research of the area is on me.) *We would have loved this if it was just hubs and myself, but this time we had our son along. This hotel is located in the heart of the city, just steps from Oxford Street. I liked the modern feel, and the bar and lounge are great. Its a great gathering place for young and hip Londonites. Very typical of a trendy hotel- muted colors, sexy lighting and good - looking staff. Main difference is that the staff has no attitude compared to some which is more style than substance. Stayed here for 2 nights after a rain soaked cruise in the British Isles, the very large rain shower bathrooms, comfortable soft bed with amazing soft sheets were. Le Labo toiletries were among some of the amenities that impressed us.

Had a loft room which was quite nice but service here sucked in every regard, The concierge ( a man) could not have been any less helpful in securing a reservation to anything. Oddly, the concierge can't to won't help with reservations inside the property and getting them as a resident of the hotel was IMPOSSIBLE. The hotel should tell you at the time of reserva... First time staying in Soho. This place is first class. The restaurant is exactly what you would expect from jolly old England. The rooms were very well laid out. Get the corner suite!!! Steven at the front desk was fantastic. Great cocktails and a great crowd in the lobby bar.

Great location and rooms were outstanding. Manager involvement and name recognition makes it one of my favourites in London. Location is ideal; give it a try, you will love it! Great restaurants and bars within walking distance; but wonderful lobby bar if you want to stay in.

The best hotel in Europe that ive been to.... its quiet similar to major hotels in Southeast Asia that gives me a homey feeling - the rooms are huge and super spacious.... the services are superb from check in through check out, the Sri Lankan staff who accompanied me to my room was very warm and friendly... even the lady at reception, i forgot to ask her nationality but she was trying her best to communicate with me in English and gave me clear instructions on how to get to Louis Vuitton.....

I haven't stayed in this hotel but I went to the bar for drinks. The ambience is absolutely unique. The bar keeper was very friendly and attentive and recommended an excellent wine. There is also a pool table if you fancy a game. Apparently, they also have quite delicious cocktails here, I must try them the next time!

We visited in September during busy Fashion Week. The Lobby Bar and Berner's Tavern were happening all day and night with a fashionable crowd. We were impressed with the personalized service we received throughout our four day stay given they were fully booked. When we arrived we were greeted by a Guest Relations member that was in a class by himself, Kavi P. He ascertained that we were from Colombia and live on Miami Beach. No sooner did we get to our room and a coffee machine was delivered! W... Read more

Walling into the lobby of the London Edition you know it's a cool hotel. I found the service through the hotel excellent - The Brazilian Bar Tender was excellent - Front Desk staff also excellent. Had a issue with the room air-conditioning leaking but was moved to another room immediately. All in All no complaints just praises!!!!

A hotel full of design, it is indeed a special Marriott hotel, location is really good, pretty new, very comfortable stay. I stayed one week here and I love the club in the first floor. The only thing is the room is a little bit small, but in such a good location, hard to avoid.

Stayed here for the start of my birthday celebrations. The communication with the hotel before our stay was very good. I was emailed to ask our arrival time and if we had any special requests. We arrived slightly ahead of the check in time but allowed to check in right away, and our room was ready. Check in was quick and easy and very friendly. We were handed over to a bell boy who showed us to our room and explained the room to us. We had a loft room which was very spacious, and beautifully... Read more

This is a beautiful hotel - the highly-regarded Berners Tavern was full every night I stayed, the crowd of beautiful people spilling out onto the lobby lounge, enjoying the cocktails. All made for an exciting space - if you want quiet luxury, you might want to stay someplace else. Location is undeniably fantastic - 3mins walk to the heart of Oxford St. Walk a little bit more and you're in Regent St, staring at Liberty. But to be honest, I am finding it hard to rate this hotel highly. It's lov... Read more

We had an afternoon tea in the hotel lobby and not staying in the hotel accommodations. The place has a good relax ambient, service was reasonably good, tea and cake for three people cost just under £20. The chocolate orange cake was nice and moist. We sat there for whole afternoon and enjoyed ourselves.

The London EDITION is proud to be one of the few in the world with wooden floors in the bedrooms. Well, there's a reason why most sensible hotel room designers opt for carpet. The hotel is very nice: stylish, funky, spacious and well-equipped rooms. The staff we interacted with were professional and friendly. However, none of that counts for much if you are kept awake in the early hours by someone in an adjacent room walking around on wooden floors with hard-soled shoes. It was nigh on impossibl... So first my check in was 1 hour and half late. All the over guess was put in time. I was asked if I like a coffee until my room was really. I was pass the worry order. Then I got in the room. It look like no work was done. I order room service 20 mins for it. That was OK but there forgot the water that it comes with. This morning I order downstairs the full English breakfast was cold. Stayed with my wife for a long weekend. We just loved everything about the hotel. The hospitality was first notch, the location super convenient and on outskirts of Soho. Rooms were great. Lobby bustling, with great bars and great food! Yet room was still quiet at night. Though they couldn't (for good reason) promise, they managed to get us an early-check in the hotel room, which was terrific! No hesitation on recommending or going back!

The hotel has a lobby that serves a a bar as well. There are just too many people around the bar. The hotel was clean all the time. The staff were courteous and always ready to help. What I do mind was the layout of the rooms. Its like going thru a maze. The room I got was at the very far end. I think I passed several exits and stairwells before reaching it. This, however, was compensated by the staff's willingness to cook breakfast for us even if we came early and they were not officiall... Read more

Planned a birthday trip for my hubby and we had a great stay. Super clean and exceptionally we quiet. The staff were excellent and very friendly the entire time. Valet service is a little tricky as they don't have an attendant outside and the car park is off site - they request you let them know 20min in advance. Wasn't a big deal for us. Great location for getting around on foot and the restaurant was fabulous. Definitely recommended and would happily stay here again.

Great service, great room, great location. Didn't eat there but had a cocktail at 1am and the vibe of the bar at the front of the hotel was good. The décor of the reception area was ultra modern whilst the front of the hotel with the bar and the restaurant to the right was really sophisticated. The London Edition is a great place to catch a quick drink, bite or conduct a meeting in an opulent, contemporary meets classical glitzy setting (you'll see what I mean).
