We were only here for 12 hours so hard to rate properly. We had a quad room. The sofa bed wasn't very comfortable at all. Only 6 pillows provided for 4 guests, we didn't ask at reception for more however as we just wanted to sleep. We were roadside and undisturbed by traffic noise. Breakfast was a decent selection and included in price. Car parking included too. There's an M&S shop attached to a petrol station opposite. We used that to buy picnic items to take to Legoland. This was our first stay at a Holiday Inn because we normally stay at Premier Inns. On this occasion however our accommodation was booked for us as we were travelling as a large group. We arrived at 12.30am and checking in was simplified because all of our door keys were handed out in one go, an excellent idea especially as it was so late at night. The first impressions of our room, 181, were very good. It was a good size, modern and that and the bathroom looked very clean. There was a choice of... Read more

This is a new HI Express and as such very comfortable and all you would expect from an HIExpress. Staff very helpful. Secure parking but spaces a bit tight. Location is excellent for LHR area. Across the street a pub with a Thai restaurant (did not eat there but it was very busy and the food aroma was brilliant). We turned left outside the hotel and went about 200 yards to an outstanding Italian restaurant. We travel out of LHR quite often and always stay the night before. This is easily the bes... Read more

We stayed here in a family room as part of our Legoland trip. The room was clean and well presented. Despite the name, it's not actually part of the airport so don't be worrying about planes flying past your room! The location is great for Legoland, taking only around 20 minutes to get there each day. The bar service was pretty slow. The restaurant service was terrible! There were just two waitresses for the entire service and they just couldn't cope! Both worked extremely hard, but there was f... Read more

Stayed here one night just before our flight from T4. It was convenient, clean and served it's purpose. With free breakfast, it was good value. There is a M&S store just opposite so could grab a sandwich if you feel hungry. Rooms were ok size and beds were comfortable had a good night sleep. I would stay here again.

As I was new to the country, Mr.Queel who was in the reception, took extra step by gooling on behalf of me, calling the doctor and arranging for a same day appointment and also arranging taxi. He is a awesome. Other staffs in the front desk are also fantastic and helpful.

Its an OK place to stay for a night (maximum) and if you are not traveling with Kids, otherwise, the rooms are very small. The hotel gets a shuttle from the airport and back (4.5 Pounds) every 15 mins, so it is convenient to travel from the airport and back. It has a restaurant which serves meals and is nice. There is a bar too. Staff is OK. Recommended if you are staying just for a night.

We have stayed here many times en-route to Heathrow Airport for a flight the next day. It is very good for this purpose, the rooms are clean, comfortable, quiet and the best value around. The breakfast included in the price is always good with plenty of hot and cold choices. It is not the type of hotel you would want to vacation in and no way can it be compared to HIE in the USA, but as a one night stop it is hard to beat at the price.

I stayed one night at the hotel whilst flying from Heathrow. The hotel is located near the M4 junction 5 so is very convenient to reach and is around 5-10 mins by car from terminal 5. The welcome on arrival was friendly and I was checked in quickly. The hotel has a car park at the rear, with parking £10 per night at the time of writing. Staffed by people with a poor grasp of English, as a Colieac requiring a gluten free meal to avoid being seriously ill, I had some difficult making my order "safely". They did have an allergy sheet but it was impossible to get across the concept of cross contamination! Then when the food actually arrived I was extremely underwhelmed by the quality. The rooms are large for a standard Holiday Inn Express. They were clean as usual. The dining area was large and the range of meals quite limited with typical English fare. Having said that for a business traveler they were more than adequate. Staff were all friendly. Parking was ample, although I did notice someone parking illegally in the morning so I suggest getting there early to ensure a place. I stayed at Holiday Inn Express in Hong Kong some years ago, and this one (Heathrow T5) made me realize that HI Express hotels in the UK are much smaller and more basic. For starters, our room in Heathrow T5 had no closet, just a short bar for hanging up clothes. There's no fridge or in-room safe. However, the room and bathroom were clean. Breakfast was filling; there weren't many hot items, but there were different kinds of breads and types of coffees. More importantly, even though the... Read more

No wonder the breakfast was "free" - cheap sausages, scrambled egg like porridge and the ubiquitous baked bean, poor choice of fruit and a bit of a rugby scrum to get at it! We chose this hotel as it was part of a deal on the Legoland website including park tickets and an overnight hotel together. We had stayed in the Premier Inn, Slough the night before so we had a direct comparison between the two. This hotel is very busy but great value for what we wanted and needed as a family of 4. Rooms were fab and we had loads of space and the bathrooms were excellent. Comfortable hotel, 4 miles from Heathrow. The rooms are modern and have everything you need. With it being an airport hotel it can be a little noisy at times with people coming and going. The shuttle is a bit of a rip off at £4.50 each as an uber costs £9 to the terminal for up to four people (usually). Other than that it's very good for the price.
