Good location for sightseeing in the West End. Easy walking distance to Buckingham Palace, Horseguards Parade, Parliament Square, Westminster Abbey etc., but in a quiet location. Efficient friendly staff, good food in restaurant. The hotel is well appointed and clean. Not impressed with the strength of the free wifi

We picked this hotel for its close location to the Victoria coach station which was the pick up point for the transfer to the ship. This was very nice hotel with a nice restaurant and bar. Room was normal size for Europe. Excellent location with a restaurant row one block back from the hotel, the hotel is next to Victoria train station Two Blocks to victoria coach and one block to start point for the viator hop on hop off.

I enjoyed this hotel for 3 nights, primarily for the nice room and the friendly service. As a Hilton Diamond member, I was upgraded to a Junior Suite (room 601), which had a separate living room area - I greatly enjoyed it! Pros: - Very comfortable bed and pillows - Large TVs, with the ability to plug in devices using HDMI - Friendly service by most of the staff (In particular, Belinda went out of her way to make me really enjoy my stay!) - Easy access to Victoria station, which has grocery s... This hotel was a great choice for us as we traveled to Victoria Station from Gatwick Airport. Room was large and quiet and staff was very helpful. There is a lot of construction going on in the area so the neighborhood is a bit distressed. The Victoria tube stop conveniently enabled us to get out of the construction zone and find nicer neighborhoods. I would definitely stay there again, especially when the construction is finished.

We usually stay here when in London as it is consistently comfortable, reasonably priced and convenient for Victoria Station. This time we had a room on the 6th floor (I think) with a view overlooking the station, but the room was well insulated from any noise. I feel that the standard rooms are on the small side but comfortable and with the usual amenities including complimentary wi-fi. Executive accommodation is on the top floor. I stayed there for two nights with my husband for a business trip. I stayed there because of the close access to Victoria Station (it's right across the street) and he wanted to be within walking distance of most of the sites in Central London (most of these were within a 10-20 minute walk.) The hotel is quiet for sleeping and the rooms were immaculate. The welcome cookie is awesome and I recommend the app for digital check-in so that you can speed to your room if your jet lagged.

An elderly Norwegian couple chose this hotel on the recommendations on this page and because of the proximity to London Victoria station, which is the terminus of the Gatwick Express. Most South Eastern Railway trains to Canterbury/Dover/Ramsgate also leave from here, and as we visited relatives in Kent this came in handy. Victoria station is also a tube station, only two stops away from Oxford Circus on Victoria line and from Westminster on District and Central lines. The rooms were spacious en... Read more

Interior of hotel is very nice, check in at reception was quick and easy - as was check out. I had a room on the 4th floor overlooking the station. It turned out to be a modern, clean, convenient hotel with efficient, cordial staff, good WiFi, excellent accommodations for someone with a temporary disability. We stayed as a family (2 adults, 2 children below 5 years old) to the Double Tree Victoria in June 2016. I shall specify that we stayed there at a particularly trying time for us, as our house got flooded and we got relocated there by the insurance company while a longer term accommodation got sorted. Stayed as part of a large group, and we were unanimously happy with the staff, service, quality of the room and amenities. Ideally located within walking distance of several attractions, everyone had something to do. The concierge was especially helpful, and our check in staff made us feel very welcome. Breakfast was also very well laid out and the staff was always pleasant. Will definitely stay again!

The hotel location is easy. In Victoria station walk to the furthest south east corner past McDonalds as far as you can walk, exit to the street, and then across the street. Check in was courteous and I was able to receive my room already 10 AM having requested that beforehand. The rooms are nicely appointed and the bathroom is large - walk in shower only. No minibar, but room service with rather steep pricing. For quick meals, the Victoria station is nearby. A Nice bar downstairs and usually... Read more

I stayed 2 nights on a business trip. The hotel is very easy to find, just a minute away from Victoria tube and train station. Check in was welcoming and efficient. I'd selected my room in advance using the app, so it just took a few seconds The room was a little smaller than usual, but understandable as a London hotel. Not to say it was cramped, as there was a queen size bed, large desk, armchair and table, large chest of draws and integrated wardrobes. The bathoom had a walk in soaker style ... Read more

This hotel has the loudest in room AC system in London. If you want a good nights sleep don't stay here. With the ax on its to loud to sleep with the ac off its too hot to sleep. Recommend you as to see the room and hear the ac before paying for a nights stay.

As a member of the Hilton Honors program we have come to depend on the Hilton brand in our travels. The Doubletree is usually an excellent choice and the Doubletree-Victoria did not disappoint. The hotel is very clean, the staff is very friendly and helpful, excellent breakfast, and a very usable bar area make this a great choice. But on top of that, the location is outstanding. Excellent service (especially by Mona at front desk), recognized as Hilton member, great room. But no oatmeal at breakfast (basic and most important carb) and no omelet/eggs chef on site. You could ask a waiter however to have an omelet made, but from a Hilton I expected the chef to be there, asking you how you'd like your eggs and for him to make it in front of you. No pool. Reception looks small but rooms are excellent and modern. Unline vice versa in Doubletree on Edgware Road (super amazing ... Read more

We stayed here for 2 nights. The staff was very pleasant, the welcome cookie was delicious! The room we had was very small, I am not sure if that's what all the rooms were like. We were on the 8th floor. We didn't spend much time in it but it was very small. The hotel is in a great location we were walking distance to the London eye, Buckingham palace, Big Ben, Westminster abbey and Piccadilly Circus. It is across the street from Victoria station which has a direct train from gatwick airport.

Paying £230 per night for a standard room in a hotel is crazy. It's double what I would pay anywhere else but it isn't double the quality. Lukewarm porridge for breakfast and a cup tea for £12 is also not exactly value for money. No matter, the mattress was good even if the pillows were not. The gym was ok but hidden away in a little basement. Will I stay here again? No I think probably not

First stay at this Hilton managed hotel. It is conveniently located and overlooks London's Victoria station. An older building than its sister hotel at the Tower where we usually stay. It is next to the Passport Office in case relevant but more importantly the office is signposted widely in the area if you get lost. You are 10 minutes walk from Buckingham Palace and two of the Royal Parks. 20 from other attractions such as Trafalgar Square and the shopping areas. Victoria is the key hub for ... Read more

This hotel is right on the doorstep of London Victoria station. Despite that, once inside, you'd never know it. It's clean, quiet (no noise from outside) and provides everything a business travellers needs. Room was good. Spacious, well equipped and clean. Good bathroom. I only used restaurant for breakfast. The food was good (quality & selection) however the layout (of tables) meant it was chaotic and busy with staff and guests permanently manoeuvring.

We have stayed in this hotel a few times now and I have always loved it. But this time I didn't enjoy it, we stayed in the 9 floors the room is literally next to the lift and the room was very spacious but the shower didn't have a good drainage as after shampooing I would have to turn off the water to let the water drain otherwise it's flooded, very disappointing, Otherwise I would have given it 5 star.
