Perfectly placed for Victoria Rail and Tube station but without being noisy. Modern, clean and practical hotel popular with business users. Nice bar and restaurant. Regular Hilton hotel visitors should be aware that there is no Executive Lounge.

Our family of 5 found the Doubletree at Victoria Station to be the perfect hotel location for our tourist trip to London. Other reviewers talk about location, but let me emphasize it walk out the front door, cross a reasonably quiet street and enter Victoria Station through a side entrance. From Victoria you can take a train to other England destinations or proceed to the Underground Station (which runs three different lines, allowing you easy access to many popular stations acros... Having requested a quiet room with a castle view we were not disappointed. The castle view really is a view of the castle, uninterrupted by any other buildings. The room on the 4th floor was also nice and quiet despite being in a busy part of the city centre. We only had noise on one morning which I can only assume was another guest having a party in their room at 8am on Sunday morning!! The hotel staff are a great asset for the Hilton brand. Everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful from r... Read more

This property is a great location, just off the path of the hectic and busy streets of Central London. It has a real boutique feel, friendly staff, and offers a great breakfast. The rooms are a good size for a city property . You can't go wrong

Signed up as a HHonors members but was not given a room on the members' floor. I wonder why. Was welcomed by warm chocolate cookie and 2 bottles of in room mineral water. Next day, we when we return after our outing, housekeeping did not leave any in room mineral water. We called reception only to be told off its given only on Day 1 upon check in, not everyday. Much later they send 2 bottles up for us and of course of the other 7 nights, we did not ask for any mineral water anymore. Perhaps mine... Read more

The bedrooms are very small and as soon as you enter the hotel, you have a sensation of suffocation. Breakfast is very good and the team are very professional and helpful, especially the Spanish concierge whom I forgot the name. Location is also great, just behind Victoria station. I arrived very early at 6am from a long-haul flight, and no alternative was offered to get changed or shower at least.

Location is great, next to Victoria Station, within a mile to Buckingham Palace. Easy access to Hop on/off bus (don't buy hop on/off tickets online, you have to redeem at a tourist office...instead buy them at the hotel with the concierge -I wish I had known this, as I lost time getting those vouchers). The room was clean, spacious but I could feel bed springs sitting on. Breakfast is average.

My girlfriend & her friend were visiting from the US & wanted a centrally located hotel in order to see all the landmarks in a weekend so we booked this place for the convenience of its location. The check in was fine & friendly enough. Checked into our room & there was still rubbish in the bin & no tissue in the bathroom as well as a random hair on the bed. Advised the front desk who sent a member of staff up to take care of the issues raised. The room itself was possibly the smallest I've stay... Read more

Stayed here for 4 nights during a recent trip to London with my teenage son. We stayed in a twin room on the 8th floor facing the train station. PROS: Great location (already mentioned hundreds of time), great service, quiet room, good breakfast, good shower (rainfall and normal). CONS: no face/wash cloths, no face soap, the beds (at least the twin beds) are hard as a rock, being charged 4.50 uk for a soft drink with breakfast (when coffee, tea and juice were free), lack of a grab and go/pa... The hotel lobby is nice, and they have a bar and restaurant. However, for the price I expected a solid wifi signal. I flew from the U.S. on an overnight flight, arriving at the hotel around 10 AM. My room wasn't ready, which didn't surprise me. I found a comfortable couch in the lobby. I tried to connect to the wifi but kept getting bumped off (I presume because hotel was quite full and lots of people using the wifi). I was able to do a lot on my phone, but used an entire's month worth of data... Read more
