We decide to stay one night in this hotel, because the day after suppose to leave very early to Southhampton to cacht a cruise ship. Honestly the people at the desk are rude and not nice, the room was dirty and look very dirty, Pillow without sheet and not comfortable at all, so small!!!!

We stayed with our 2 children whilst visiting Legoland. This hotel was part of the packaged deal. This is a lovely hotel and we were given a large family room with a double bed and a sofa bed. There is a car park that is free if you've booked via the Legoland website. Breakfast was lovely. My husband is coeliac and there was plenty of gluten free food for him to have. Decided to overnight at this hotel before flying to Australia in January for a bit of sun. This was the coldest room I have ever had in a hotel. A tiny radiator and a large air conditioner that sadly had no hot air function. On phoning reception an electric radiator was supplied that did help somewhat. We stayed at this hotel before an early flight from Heathrow. It's about 10-20 minute taxi to terminal 5 and we found it very quick to order an Uber which cost about £10. The hotel lobby is very nice with a typical chain hotel bar and lobby. The room was terrible, it was small and dated. Having had stayed in the Mercure a couple of times before, I've always had a relatively good experience. Good service at the reception, clean room, working AC, comfortable bed, basically the standard of a good hotel. Very clean and convenient for Heathrow, Windsor and Ascot. Very small rooms but very clean . Only downside of rooms no drawers just shelves. Good restaurant and bar area. Booked this hotel overnight as we were travelling to France the next day. Parking was included in the package as we would be away for a few days. Once you have parked (preferably in the covered car par opposite reception) and registered your car you can pick it up on return without returning to reception. Hotel advertised as being near the airport with shuttle. Well, it was not very near the airport and the shuttle was not free, nor was it very reliable (of course not the hotels fault). The room in itself wasn't too bad, although utterly tiny. The bathroom looked like it hadn't been redone since 1970 and if it had whoever designed the bathrooms to fit with the room did a poor job. Not much daylight either, price for room was £80 for the night, without breakfast; which for two people cost an additional £30. This is a good hotel if you are either leaving London or in transit .. But I wouldn't recommend this hotel for a long stay in London only due to the fact that it is far away from the city .. The staff are more than friendly and the restaurant food is great the room is comfy .. Good for a basic stay but there is not much around the area

Location of the hotel was difficult to find by car so we had to get a taxi. The room was good, although the shower was very small. Not much outside the hotel ie restaurants, shops etc. Restaurant in the hotel had a good menu although drinks were very expensive.

Where do I start. Could not find reservation to start with. Room with a roof so low my 4'11" wife hit her head. A noise level from the function room that in reception you could not hear yourself speak. A noise level in the room so bad that when I took my hearing aids out I could still not get to sleep. I will be complaining to the company.

The hotel is well located near Heathrow, 10 min drive from the airport. It has a shuttle service for 5£ one way. The parking costs 10£ but... there is no control... One can avoid this cost if it wants to. It's a bad airport hotel: restaurant is bad and service takes really long (40 minutes waiting for a simple pasta... without taste!) breakfast (poor) starts at 6:30AM (!) Late for an Airport! We were no expecting much from the Hotel but found the staff very friendly. Food was very mediocre but again that's what we expected. Kids were catered for in fact there meal was freezing the adult meal. We had a very large and clean family room. We slept well and checkout was fast. Parking was available. The Hotel was near the motorway which was what we required.

This hotel is approximately 10 minutes from Heathrow Airport - hence the title. Parking is directly outside and the area is well paved and flat too, so wheeling suitcases/trolley bags isn't a problem. The staff are welcoming and friendly. Do not allow a charge to be put on your card as it takes 7/8 working days to be removed!!!! We stayed here for 2 nights to visit legoland. The rooms have been refurbished and the one we had was lovely, modern and clean. It also had a fridge and a safe. The bathroom wS clean but surprisingly hadn't been upgraded. Disappointed with the staff. We book this hotel as part if our legoland break as it was not too far to travel with the children after a busy day in the park (about 20 minutes). The hotel is undergoing refurbishment after takeover by Mercure, the reception, lounge and restaurants are very nice, perhaps it's 'luck of the draw' with bedrooms. Lovely modern-looking hotel. Room was smart, maybe the bathroom could do with a slight spruce up. Check in was okay but it does seem to be often busy. I stayed at this hotel as me and my son were visiting Legoland Windsor. So it was a good option, as its just a train ride and a bus away from Legoland. The staff were very helpful and courteous. Location is decent with bus stops 5 mins away. Or do what i did, and walked to the rail way station. Approximately 20 mins. Was so pleased with this hotel we booked it through legoland as part of a two day break, we were really impressed it was myself, husband and two young children, nothing was too much trouble for the staff the rooms were great, food in restaurant was good, the gentlemen who was working there was lovely and really looked after the kids, breakfast was fantastic loads to choose from will use again

the hotel was very modern,clean and hospitable. All the staff from check-in to cleaning were friendly and helpful but to us the restaurant was the best place. The food and menu choice were very good but the Maitre D took the cake .He was a born entertainer who stopped at every table and bantered with the customers, talked with them about where they came from. He was a breath of fresh air.

Nice hotel , small yet very comfortable and neat rooms , staff was friendly and I must add that the breakfast was very nice . We were a part of a tourist group and they provided one ethic dish from our country to suit the taste of the group most of whom were vegetarian.

I've just returned from a 2 night stay at this hotel. The hotel lobby and bar areas are nice and recently refurbished. The rooms are small but comfortable and adequate for one or two nights. There is limited parking onsite, one night parking was full but the staff were available to assist and find some space. Overall we had a pleasant stay, clean comfortable rooms resulted in two good night sleeps and a good weekend. Would recommend.

Cannot fault this hotel in the slightest!! Booked 3 nights for myself, husband and our 9 year old to visit Legoland. From the second we arrived everything was brilliant. Used this hotel as part of a Meet and Greet parking package when flying out to San Francisco. As the package did not include breakfast and we had already eaten before we arrived we had very little interaction with the staff. That said those we did speak to were pleasant and helpful. The room was a generous size but rather sparsely furnished and a bit dated. Bed was fairly comfortable and the room clean and tidy.

Stayed at the Mercure London Heathrow for one night in a single room on the ground floor. I was able to easily meet the hotel shuttle right outside Terminal 5 where I waited approximately 20 minutes for the bus to arrive. I was able to purchase a ticket onboard for 5 GBP, and the ride to the hotel was about 10 - 15 minutes. I also took the same bus back the airport the next day. Stayed here on my own before an early flight. The staff were particularly friendly and helpful. The room was small, but quiet comfortable and had everything you needed for a good nights sleep. The shuttle service to the airport was cheap, on time and i was at the airport in <15 minutes. Great hotel and will use again if flying from Heathrow.

Have just spent one night at the Mercure Heathrow and it was definitely not my best stay at a hotel near Heathrow. The reason I use the word 'bad' is that I booked online several weeks before my trip. When I checked in I was given a room that must have been in an older and refurbished part of the hotel. I had to wend my way through what I felt were really narrow corridors and around blind 90 degree corners. Attended a training course here so booked a couple of rooms (myself and a work colleague) as we travelled up the night before. No issues with the location and the reception seems pleasant enough with helpful friendly staff. Although the Mercure hotel is clean and tidy, overall we were not impressed with the stay. Rooms are available from 2pm however after arriving at 2:30, my room was still not ready and had to wait another 10 minutes with no explanation as to why. The shuttle takes about 20 minutes from the airport to the hotel, which is no so close. The rooms are not clean enough and you can listen Pople on the side wall. I had a severe allergic attack due to dust on the A/C . There were several leaks on the bathroom and shower. I'm a great fan of Accor but this was the worst hotel from ACCOR I've ever stayed.

Located on the other side of the M4 to Heathrow and away from the Heathrow Airport Hotel Road, it is a little drive from the airport however is served well by the airport shuttle busses, rooms are comfortable and the hotel is on the smaller side compared to other hotels in the area which is a bonus. we stayed here before flying out of Heathrow as it was advertised as being near to terminal 4,it definitely wasn't and the shuttle bus did not even go to terminal 4. We ended up getting a taxi for £12. The hotel is a bit further from Heathrow airport than we had expected, but is quietly situated. The reception staff were welcoming and helpful (in particular assisting us to print our boarding passes). There is ample comfortable seating in the lobby and bar. The 1st thing I noticed was how narrow the door to our room was - if you are broad shouldered, you might have to enter sideways. As an airport stopover location is ok but allow at least 30mins to get to the terminal. On arrival I asked for quiet room so was moved up to 2nd floor. After a long flight from Singapore a fire alarm (rang several times) at 1.30am was not appreciated, particularly when no staff appeared concerned about it. Had it been for real we hope the response would have been better. Little sleep ensued. However breakfast was fine and the room quite adequate for a transit stay.

We chose to stay here rather than leave for the airport in the middle of the night. Arrived early evening so we walked around the local area looking for a restaurant but we didn't find anything open on a Sunday night. The food at the hotel was quite nice -very big portions and a reasonable choice. The room was smallish but nicely decorated with a kettle and comfortable bed. Not a bad hotel, the rooms are comfortable and clean, even the air con worked. Only real downer was the restaurant. Food was pub grub, which not a problem if you wasn't something quick and simple but it was too small for the size of hotel, more so in the evening as it was packed. This is a 2 storey hotel with a 3rd floor up in the roof space. It is about a mile from LHR and is served by the overpriced National Express Hotel Hoppa service. It has a lift to all floors and free Wi-Fi in the rooms. We were given room 243 which was up in the eaves of the roof. A excellent Hotel with above average quality of staff. Reception desk is particulary good. Try not to get stuck on low numbered rooms. They are very small. The only downside was that the bed seemed to be worn out. Very uncomfortable. Could take a leaf out of the book of Premier Inns and Travelodge who have brilliant beds.

Stayed at this hotel for one night following a long haul journey. The car parks are tricky with little room to maneuverer especially when tired! The hotel in general was fine, nicely decorated, courteous staff and clean rooms. The floors though are a little bouncy and you can hear the steps from the room above, which means if you are unlucky it can be disrupted sleep. Otherwise it's conveniently located for Heathrow and cheap compared to other hotels in the area.

Everything about this hotel was perfect. The customer service was incredible we had our room upgraded for free and it was absolutely beautiful. This is positioned by the airport 20 min hoppa bus run every 30 min for 5 quid. Nice stay for overnight before flying out of heathrow. Good value and clean. Quite. Nice option set back from the road with lots of parking

Hotel was clean and staff friendly but the room (047) location was dreadful. It is on the ground floor, the first room located off the lobby/bar/restaurant area and was very noisy. At times I felt there were people actually IN my room. Room extremely small...could hardly walk around the bed. The bed was extremely uncomfortable...hard as rock. Nowhere to open up suitcase. I was a lone traveller and was expecting the usual cupboard of a room no i was given a very nice room with pleasent bathroom with bath and shower, tea and coffee and a lovely tv. The included breakfast was very good and the evening meal adequate this was not includef in the price . I had to book in on line for my flight and was having problems so the staff kindly did it for me and printed my boarding pass for me the staff were polite and helpful and i will be using this facility again

In between flights from Italy to Greece I spent 2 nights. I needed business centre...printing...emails...all done free and with a smile. I needed to iron clotges...board and iron in room. I have food intolerances so just paid fow the food I ate at breakfast. Nothing was a problem...taxi ordered for 3am departure...punctual and offered coffee. It was a very restful comfortanle stay with helpful friendly staff. Thank you!!!

We booked legoland package in this hotel for our family of four. Stayed 2 nights. We all loved it and can't fault it. Clean and spacious quad room with double bed and sofa bed for kids. Nice hotel but I left my car there when I came back from my holiday found that my front & rear number plates had been stolen from my car. The hotel did phone the police & let me use the phone to try to get this sorted.Offered my wife & myself some food and drink on the house & gave use a free ticket to get the shuttle bus back to the airport so we could get a coach home as you are unable to drive without number plates. was there for 4 days found the staff helpful as I checked in early even though I was charged extra i did not mind. Rooms were small but neat and clean in all aspects. Breakfast spread was good. The housekeeping staff need to be acknowledged as I constantly came back to a neat and clean room which makes you feel good. Overall a nice hotel, value for money. Convenient location form station hence travel was never a headache. Would definitely stay again at this place.

I booked the Mercure for a pre flight stay and I have to say it was exceptional value for money. Good sized room, everything you need, free wifi and spotlessly clean. Very speedy check in by pleasant staff. Perfect inexpensive hotel.

My husband and I booked this hotel to break up our trip from Vancouver, Canada to Shropshire, UK as I am 8months pregnant and weren't sure if I would cope with the drive after a 9hr flight. Arrived and when signing in was asked how I wished to pay. My stay was booked and paid for online. I told them I did not have a car, then they asked how I wanted to pay for the parking. Room was ok. Cleanish although there was hair in the sink. The a/c was very noisy. Free wifi was staggeringly slow so after trying to work for an hour I opted for the Premium £5 per day option. Took this hotel prior to flight and part of a very reasonable meet and great package, it's ok, room was a fare size, not in the best condition. Parking on site was easy, check in man was not the friendliest which really sets the tone for the stay I'm afraid , if you work front desk leave your troubles in the back office. Short pop to terminal.

Recently stayed at hotel mercure heathrow. Stunning hotel everything beautiful. Until you get to dining at the resturant. monday night, the noise from the kitchen was like Faulty towers with the shouting. Horendous long wait for food on both nights, for just one meal!  Tables around me served with 3 or 4 people on them. Please sort dining out. Most staff foreign and bit difficult to explain things to them.

Good value for money hotel close to Heathrow Airport, clean, friendly and nice little restaurant also a short bus ride on the Hoppa bus from the airport. Quick check in and check out handy also if like me you need to get back to the airport for use of bus service or underground as you can use the Hoppa bus for that, see reception for timetable.

The staff were excellent very friendly and very good towards kids we stayed for two nights, nothing was to much trouble for any of the staff. check in was quich and able to put car numberplate in for free parking. We had breackfast which was good and plenty of it.

My wife and I stayed here for one night prior to a flight to the USA from Heathrow Airport. Parking at the airport was easy and check-in was efficient. Our room was nice, clean and comfortable and more than adequate for a one night stay. The airport shuttle to Heathrow in the morning was regular enough for us to arrive at Heathrow feeling nice and relaxed. Had to stay overnight so took the cheapest available accomodation. Excellent hotel. Just as good as an expensive hotel in Kensington. Better breakfast than in Kensington and more to choose from. Stayed over in order to make early flight next morning. My only complaint was that the water temperature of the shower at 4am in the morning was luke warm to cold, so as a consequence I had a cold shower before leaving at 5am. Not a good start to the day.

After British Airways booked this hotel for us I read the reviews and wasn't to happy, .How wrong could I have been, we were met by very pleasant reception staff also very helpful. The superior room that we had was very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay very much and would definitely book this Hotel again. We had a small problem with the heating system and it was dealt with within 10mins.

Stayed here for 1 night before an onward flight. The staff were all very helpful and willing to assist. Beware shower cubicle. In our room there was a 12 inch drop from the shower onto the outside floor. This is extremely dangerous as you get thrown onto the sink without warning..

I stayed 3 nights over a weekend in November. I arrived around midnight on Friday after a long drive and asked for a quite room. I thought my room on the 2nd floor would be quiet as it faced inwards and not the busy M4 motorway next door. The room is soooo old. It was big, but except tv and bed, everything was there since decades. Bathroom probably built in the 60's but it was clean. Also, you hear somehow some air plane take off from Heathrow

Nice single room but a bit shabby (paper coming of the wall). Good nights sleep and not to noisy even though next to M4. Nice staff very helpfull quickcheckin and out nice bar parking is onsite but cost £10 even if you are paying to stay.
