Great city hotel. Extremely friendly and clean. Facilities great too.... I would recommend this to everyone looking to stay in the heart of the city. The managers Matilda and Akil are brilliant and they ensure you have a great stay!! The breakfast is fab too.. I have stayed here many times and never had a reason to grumble but instead have a reason to thank them on each stay..

This hotel is in a good location for exploring London it is just a minute or two walk from Marble Arch, Selfridges, several undergrounds etc. The room was small but adequate and to be expected in London. The breakfast was lovely and was included in the price we paid. The only down side was that there is one tiny lift which was broken when we stayed and there are a lot of very steep narrow stairs to climb if not taking the lift.

Very nice hotel just 1 block off of Oxford Street and a short walk to the Marble Arch/Hyde Park area. I upgraded to a king room at check-in and found a beautiful, comfortable spacious room. Hot breakfast buffet included. Front desk staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

I stayed on the ground floor in a single room. The room was very dusty and smelt musty like it needed to be aired. The room was very noisy all night and the toilet didn't flush fully and the room thermometer didn't seem to work as it was roasting all night. The room was very small and dingy, in need of some tlc. However the shower room was of good size and the breakfast was very good.

Excellent Hotel located very close to Marble Arch tube, great breakfast and really, really nice front desk staff. The sole reason why I would never stay in this hotel again is due to the fact that the single bed is outright deplorable. I had a tough time sleeping through the four nights due to its super small size, two edges of bed stuck to the walls restricting movement, and mattress was larger than the bed causing me to fall off the bed twice! The business centre was excellent. Internet wa... Read more

The Radisson Blu Edwardian, is a old hotel lovingly brought into the present day with touches of Asia all about reminding one of the beauty and calm of another world. Located in the heart of London, it is but a short walk from the edge of Hyde Park and a very short walk from the tubes or buses. In keeping with the architecture of an old structure, the rooms and hallways are not as large as modern hotels, hey have an elegance and inviting nature to them. Negatives: air con not very effective and automatically turns itself off after a period (not good at night), view out of window on to tiny central courtyard (i.e. view of a wall), room would be very stuffy without air... Room was tiny and overpriced - I was able to touch opposing walls without even having to stretch my arms out. Despite asking for a quiet room, I was given one with the restaurant extractor fan outside. The air conditioning was also malfunctioning, making the room very hot, and then around 3am the fan started making a very loud buzzing noise, waking me up and forcing me to turn the unit off completely. When I raised my concerns to reception on check out, they did not seem to care.

Then we were given a room that was overlooked by office staff meaning that you blinds had to always be closed as there were no net curtains! There is only... Read more

Stayed here on business - love Radisson's generally and usually stay at the property nearby in Portman Square but it was fully booked. Waited an eternity to check in but very pleasant staff and eventually got my room key. My room (119) was on the first floor and was hidden away down some stairs and down a corridor on its' own. It is one if the smallest rooms I have ever stayed in. I didn't check in until 5.00pm and needed to be back out at 5.30 pm for a dinner and was checking out early the n... Read more

I was shocked and surprised at the small size of my bedroom and shower room. It is not what anyone should expect at the prices charged. There was only one lift for guests which was small and slow. I couldn't get my TV to work. I was woken at 5pm by bin men emptying bins at the front of the hotel. Having said this it was clean and the breakfast was good, but these positives won't tempt me back.

The location is ideal but more importantly the staff are first class, paying attention to every detail to make your stay as comfortable as possible. There were many staff who were very friendly and helpful, but one person who stood out was Akil Syed. Many thanks to him for making my stay comfortable who did all he could to give me a great room and wonderful experience. Nothing was too much for him. Thanks.

Very friendly staff helped through a smooth check-in experience. I arrived early and didn't expect my room to be ready, but it was. The room was small (as is typical of London), but functional. Do choose a room facing north if you have a chance, as the back alley where the front entrance is located is not very exciting.

I was welcomed by very friendly staff members early Saturday, and the room was already made ready for me. It was a small single, but very functional and with everything you expect from a hotel room. The lift was slow, and it wasn't obvious where the stairs were so I ended up waiting a bit for the lift at times. The breakfast buffet offered what you need for an English breakfast plus some fresh and delicate fruits along with croissants.

It was 5 years ago my latest visit to London. This time I prefered to stay somewhere close to Oxford street. But this area is not good anymore. Huge amount of people, it was impossible to walk without been hit. I travel alot around the world and I sometimes share my experience with tripadviser. This is one of which I want to share to warn the other people. Now I realised that lots of negative reviews about it. Mostly are true. I wish I should have had read them before I made reservation. I would... Read more

Have stayed here many times on both business and pleasure and this is a great hotel near everything you need. It is well served by busses and underground and perfect for shopping, sightseeing or somewhere to relax. Great bar and their steak and lobster deal is incredible value and very well presented. The hotel is very dated and could do with an update. The rooms are extremely small, and even though I am a regular guest at this chain of hotels, I wasn't given the expected upgrade. Restaurant isn't good - very limited choice and steak is not that good. There is only one lift meaning that it can take a while to get up and down from room. The only plus point is the area - plenty of shops, bars, pubs and restaurants.

Firstly I am not one for writing reviews but in this case I felt compelled to as myself and my family thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I was extremely impressed by the reception team and the service they provided. I was made to feel very welcome and was upgraded from a single room to a double for a discounted price. As it was a special occasion i was presented with a birthday card and a slice of cake which was very thoughtful. Hotel was in a great location just off oxford street and was very quiet ... Read more

Another great Radisson in London. For a city centre hotel I got a really decent room, big enough for a desk, a table, two big chairs/sofa and a big bed. This had the same feeling about it as the Edwardian hotel over at seven dials. I would stay here again. Bonus is that you have burger and lobster as the hotel restaurant which you can't really go wrong with.

How this hotel earned its four stars is beyond me. (In another European city it could be three or even two stars.) Extremely TINY rooms -- especially for the prices -- I paid over 200 USD /night at the end of September through a consolidator. The room I was first assigned to had a ceiling less than 2 meters high; so I requested a change -- and was "upgraded" to a room of the same very small size but a ceiling a bit higher -- however there was a blind WALL covering the whole window. Paid around £200 per night (more than ?220) for a double room expecting something similar to the photos shown online. Instead what i got was a room so small that we could not pass our luggage from the other side of the bed as the space left between the bed and wall was around 30cm/1ft. That means that with a 2m/6.5ft bed the total length of the room was 2.30m/7.5. Off course the bathroom was similar in size and if we were not slim we would definitely get stuck trying to move around in there.... Read more

It's in an amazing location if you plan to shop High Street in London or do the top sights it's a stones throw to a main tube station. Room was well equipped with slippers, bath robes, cotton pods, teas and coffees, and fresh complimentary water everyday. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was ok.
