The staff at the hotel were very helpful, polite and approachable. I was in London on a course and I had to sit an exam on Monday morning. I had forgot to pack my calculator which was required for the exam. Simi who worked on reception said that I could borrow hers! She was a life saver! Many thanks

Business trip, event held at hotel. Generally over cooked meat, cold food that should have been hot. Vegetarians not well catered for, it helps if you state whether the vegetarian option is vegan. Good coffe, beer and wine though. Good place to stay on business but you're better off staying in Greenwich or closer to central London if you're on a leisure trip.

We stayed here last weekend for 2 nights the staff were amazing very welcoming. Only a couple of points we were put in a room with a view of a building site , however one call to reception changed this immediately to a view of the river thames. At breakfast i asked for some vegetarian sausages as we dont eat meat unfortunately the only ones they have are what i call dinner sausages basically peas and carrots this wasnt ideal as im not aware of anybody who eats peas and carrots for breakfast , ... We held a surprise afternoon tea Baby Shower for my sister in the River Room: what great room it was, perfect size and great views of the river and the O2 dome. The events team was fantastic (Stephanie was so helpful, even after dozens of emails!) and the staff on the day were very attentive. They even had a present for the mum-to-be which was a lovely surprise. We were allowed to amend the afternoon tea menu to cater for the pregnant ladies within the group and there was plenty of food and d... Read more

I stayed for two nights here, while I was on work. The hotel is generally good, well maintained, and also there is a nice Italian restaurant nearby (il Bianco) if you fancy going out for a short stroll. The service was good for a 4 star hotel, and rooms were well kept. I didn't dine in so I can't comment on the food. If you are on business especially in this part of the town, it is a good option but if you are a tourist it is a bit of a trek to get here. I think I paid just under £130 per ni... Read more

Visited the hotel for a birthday trip to the 02, from the moment we walked in the service was excellent. The actual room was spotless and great design, great value for money. As we were visiting for a birthday they left a lovely card which was a great surprise. When we left for the 02 we were given great directions and maps which made it a lot easier. We didn't get chance to use any other services but I will definitely return again.

Very handy for the O2 Arena in Canary Wharf, but as much as I enjoy travelling on London Tube, it's a little far out for London Central. That said, it's new, fresh, clean and very contemporary. Great breakfast too!!

I visited here with my partner in May and must admit that the hotel itself is very good. It is easily accessible and sits literally on the door step of Canary wharf, Billingsgate market and blackwall tunnel. The great thing is that it's in a busy area but inside the hotel and our room it was very quiet. The staff were very helpful and friendly from the minute we walked in. Stayed in the hotel to attend a concert in The O2. The surrounding area was great and it is just by the Thames, complete with a boardwalk along the river. It was quiet even if the adjacent propertties were apartment buildings and other hotels. We booked a 1BR Suite and was surprised on the amount of space that we had, considering the notion that London Hotels are a bit smaller in area compared to other places. T&B facilities were superb and can accommodate PWDs. There's even a small TV screen ... Read more

We stay at this hotel when we visit the 02. Whilst it's not easy to get to the 02 (and cost £40 in a taxi the other night) it is certainly the best. We have tried most other local hotels, mainly of which are more accessible for the 02. But this one is without doubt the best. Tip- Blackwall DLR looks like the nearest station, it's not. Use East India, a five minute walk and you'll be on the right side of a very busy road.

We stayed here for a second time recently. The hotel is situated directly opposite the O2 arena (other side of the river) and features a decent bar and restaurant area. One big bonus is that the hotel spa is free to guests - that includes use of the sauna, steam room and relaxation room! The staff were all very friendly and efficient on both occasions we stayed. We stayed here for 4 nights and were extremely pleased with everything from the moment we arrived. We had a warm welcome from Ivan, who continued to remember us over the weekend and like all of the staff, was very attentive and could not do enough for you. The room was a good size (twin) and was very quiet and peaceful. There is a free shuttle to Canary Wharf, where you can get a tube directly into London, or shop or eat in the many places to visit. A tremendous hotel, set in a quiet area overlooking be Thames. Stayed here for one night and the customer service was fantastic. On arrival, we were made to feel welcome. The room was excellent, overlooking the o2. The room was large, with a large bathroom and tub. We even requested our bag be dropped off at the DLR as we were running late, which staff obliged with! Overall, a terrific stay.

We stayed here because of the location. Everything was fine but not special. We booked online, checked in online, obtained our key cards without even speaking to the check-in desk and then managed our own stay without much interaction with staff. When we asked for help it was given in a friendly way. This is an expensive hotel by our standards justified by its location and the high standard of rooms and facilities.

And here we are again, back for an overnighter before heading out of City airport. Once again I was greeted by very friendly professional staff who then lead me to the front desk where my check in was handled seamlessly. It was great to notice that the "youngster's" of the brigade still remain well in advance of their years when it comes to the practice and delivery of customer service and upholding Radisson's "YES WE CAN" mantra

Lovely looking hotel, room was beautiful and staff were lovely ... but drinks were very expensive and service charges added automatically. The food was ok but small. I had a pie one night. It cost £12 and that was literally all you got .. a very small pie. You had to add potatoes or veg at additional costs of £3.50 each. There isn't alot else around the area for you to chose as an alternative place to eat.

I have just returned from a truly wonderful weekend at the Radisson Blu New Providence Wharf. Saturday 23rd July - Sunday 24th July and stayed in Room 324. The customer service here is second to none, and this was demonstrated before I had even arrived to check-in. On Friday afternoon I received a courtesy to call and was asked if I had any special requests or if I had any questiions relating to the hotel or my booking. This was a wonderful touch and reassured me that I was in for a great stay.... Read more

Based on my experience, I would say avoid, but perhaps I just have had a bad experience. They had clearly double-booked, and when they finally got me a room after 15 minutes waiting (at 10.30pm), when I walked into the room, it was clearly occupied. They finally found another room, but with twin beds when I booked double, and they say that I had clearly booked a twin room. Enjoyable one night stay. Stylish room, helpful & friendly staff who all spoke good English, excellent breakfast overlooking the 02 across the river. The area itself doesn't have much to say for it other than proximity to the 02, Canary Wharf and (within reason) the Olympic Stadium. There was a helpful free shuttle to Canary Wharf station. 5 mins to DLR station for central London, but we got the River Bus to Embankment the next morning, a much more interesting/fun way to travel to the West End.
