Location is excellent away from the really busy areas of Covent Garden, Leicester sq etc but very convenient to walk to them. Many shops, cafes and restaurants just outside the hotel so easy to find things to do and eat. It is perfectly placed for attending the theatre. Rooms are not large but use of space is excellent. The bathrooms are small but very practical in their use of space and facilities/ amenities. Entertainment/ information systems are first class. Service and staff very f... Read more

Lovely boutique hotel in great location. Our twin deluxe room was on small side but as expected for London but had really high class fixtures and fittings - wonderful shower and bathroom. Staff were so very polite and courteous. Breakfast was very nice- very good choice showing higher end of market, albeit a bit slow on service side. Great location to Oxford St, Regent St, Picaddilly etc. Recommended.

Being in seven dials at Covent Garden, was a great location! You have basically everything around you from food/theatre/coffee to start and end your day, and the tube station is just a 5 minute walk. The hotel staff were very pleasant and helpful when needed, but the rooms weren't up to expectations. On the first night we had no water and I had a ripped towel which was not acceptable at all but luckily I wasn't sharing and used the other towel. The breakfast was great though I must say. and they... Read more

This hotel has a perfect location if you enjoy the hustle and bustle of the West End, but also want a good night's sleep. It is close to theatres, Covent Garden, Leicester Square, Trafalgar Square, and a host of other London attractions. The tube station is just a few minutes walk away, and of course, restaurants and pubs are in abundance. We were in room 518 which is a deluxe King. The room was a pretty good size for London, and while the bathroom was a little small for my large bag of toiletri... Read more

This is a great hotel, elegant and charming, in the absolute best location for walking around London. You are literally in the center of everything. We spent four nights here in May and walked all over the area: Westminster Abby, St. James Park, Buckingham Palace, Churchill's War Rooms (amazing), Trafalgar Square, Covent Garden, Oxford Circus... I could go on and on. And if it's not within walking distance (for us a mile or two) there are tube stations literally around the corner that can take y... Read more

Beautiful, ample rooms which were quiet (we were on the seventh floor, so the busyness of the street couldn't be heard). Great views of the new London skyscraper skyline didn't hurt either. The hotel also is perfectly located in Soho - close to shops, tube stations, restaurants, parks - everything! The front desk and concierge were helpful, notably getting us last minute reservations for dinner. Additionally, the hotel has a great continental breakfast at a decent price. This was booked in advance as a gift for myself, my sister and my mum. On arrival we were told that the card my dad used over the phone had only reserved the booking, not paid for it. As the rooms came to over £550 it was a good job that my mum had her credit card on her and could pay! We stayed at the Radisson Blu Mercer Street to go to a show. We booked the 'cozy' double rooms and they were small but beautifully formed! We were very aware that the rooms would be small when we booked and they were usual for central London. The position was superb for shows and Covent Garden. Breakfast was served at the tables, which I prefer to a buffet, and were of excellent standard. We will definitely be staying here again on our next London break.

We stayed here in 2013, then again last week and so much of what we enjoyed was still in evidence, great staff, conscientious service, excellent restaurant, wonderful location, and reasonable (for London) tariffs. Some say you "can't go home again", but not so with this Covent Garden gem, just as nice as before, for six nights nothing was too difficult on the part of the staff, we could walk walked to two theaters and all restaurants, plus great shopping nearby. A second family stay for us and the Radisson did not disappoint. From the first minute, the smiling staff go the extra mile to make sure that their guests have a first class experience. Rooms are not huge, but typical for Central London locations, and are well enough equipped. Demand sets the price, but it can become too little value for money. Radisson Blu Edwardian Mercer Street Hotel is nice and pleasant, but the room I got was small and very average. The location is decent. Service was ok , but it ought to be when the guest is charged close to 350 punds for a night. The breakfast average. I stayed with my family for 5 days at the Radisson Edwardian Mercer St. Fantastic location, closed to everywhere in London, choices of restaurants and bars. Rooms were ok, a bit small for a King Deluxe Room (including bathroom). Absence of real curtains over the window made our sleep quite difficult in the early morning. Main points are : Staff are friendly/helpful (it was extremely busy but there was great communication and individual high level of customer care) Rooms were clean, great design and bar/breakfast area very nicely laid out The pricing of the hotel is a little expensive but if you book in advance you can get a great deal! Anyone thinking of visiting Covent Garden, a show/opera this is a great hotel within walking distance and not far from Victoria or Waterloo station (car about 10 minutes) We wil... Read more

I chose this hotel for its proximity to The Palace Theatre as we had a very tight schedule with 2 performances of Harry Potter and The Cursed Child to attend. We arrived about 12.30 hoping to store our luggage but were told we could check in to our room anyway, which was great after travelling. Our room, a twin as I was with my daughter, was not large but as London was reasonable size. the bathroom was spacious and all was very clean. We slept very well and heard no outside noise. the air c... Read more

You just come here to sleep. Might not even get a good sleep at that. The room was too hot to sleep. We could not adjust by more than 3 C. The bed was way too small. They said it was a queen - but it was not, it was a full. Not good for two people. Overall room was too small.

This is all about location, under 500m from Leicester Square tube and similar for Covent Garden. Close to many major theatres, (For Matilda and the new Harry Potter for example - all under 200m). Lots of places to eat, close to the Hippodrome Casino (Blanc de Blanc show on at the moment). Check in was slow which was a pain, check out very fast! Didn't pre book breakfast and decline the £23 on the day price. Room was okay, good shower, free water in the room. Didn't sample the food but bar lo... Read more

You can't find a better location - so close to wonderful restaurants, theatre, shopping, etc. It is a busy area so if you are looking for quiet and calm, consider one of the other Radisson Blu locations. There were issues with them overbooking for the stay for my colleague and myself. They did upgrade me, but it took a bit of a nudge. Even still, I would stay here again.

I use this hotel regularly for business and pleasure and it's in a great location for getting around London, is surrounded by places to eat, drink and shop and is convenient for lots of the West End theatres. It's also within walking distance of the Thames and access to the South Bank area, so you have a lot of London open to you. Some of the rooms can be on the smaller side, so if you need more space ask the hotel to try to allocate a larger room. There is a bistro/restaurant which looks f... Read more

I have stayed at the Radisson in Covent Garden four times since June from New York. My mother had been ill and sadly died in July. I flew in with my two teenage children for the funeral. All the staff here have been wonderful, helpful and have gone above and beyond. And they didn't even know that we were in for a funeral. They made what was a very stressful trip for myself and children so much more manageable. I will forever be grateful for their kindness. The rooms are comfortable and the... Read more

Best location, friendly and helpful staff, lovely rooms! We had the best family holiday whilst staying at Radisson Blu Edwardian Mercer St Hotel at Covent Garden. The staff was extremely knowledgeable and Ed managed even to get tickets to last minute show for 4 of us. I would def recommend this hotel.

Radisson Blu Edwardian, Mercer Street is exactly the 4-star experience it sells itself as. If you are heading to the West End to see a show you can??t go far wrong with the Radisson Blu Edwardian, Mercer Street. Located on the Severn Dials the hotel is a literal stone??s throw from the Cambridge Theatre (currently showing Matilda) and a five-minute walk (at a leisurely pace) from The Theatre Royal (Drury Lane) and the handful of others in that locale. We were visiting the theatre and had a chat with the concierge about the show. The bar staff were very friendly and knowledgeable about the drinks we wanted. Having stayed here on business I knew the hotel was very comfortable [standard rooms a little small!] but the location is superb. The staff on my latest stay [in London for a weekend of shopping and to see a show] at the hotel were fantastic - from changing room styles to recommending and booking a local restaurant. Efficient, helpful and friendly. Refurb of the restaurant means you have to eat out for a while but on the edge of Covent Garden finding good places to eat is easy. All in all a big ... Read more

You are smack dab in the middle of the theatre district, walking distance to Lonoon Eye, and Kensington Palace is about a half an hour walk. Radisson Blu Edwardian Mercer Street is our first choice for accommodation in London. With its wonderful location, we get to see all the latest shows which are all in a 10-minute-walk radius. It is surrounded by little local shops and happening cafes. As my son repeatedly tells to the friendly staff at reception; 'You deserve a zillion stars!'

Stayed for 3 nights at this hotel. A friend and I were on a girls trip to England and this hotel was our London base for the first 3 days. The location is perfect - super easy to walk to museums, squares, restaurants, theatres, etc. We were in the double twin room which is all we needed. The room is absolutely teeny but we expected that. Aside from 2 twin beds, a bedside table and a small table with a chair there is no room for your suitcase.
