Location is excellent away from the really busy areas of Covent Garden, Leicester sq etc but very convenient to walk to them. Many shops, cafes and restaurants just outside the hotel so easy to find things to do and eat. It is perfectly placed for attending the theatre. Rooms are not large but use of space is excellent. The bathrooms are small but very practical in their use of space and facilities/ amenities. Entertainment/ information systems are first class. Service and staff very f... Read more

Lovely boutique hotel in great location. Our twin deluxe room was on small side but as expected for London but had really high class fixtures and fittings - wonderful shower and bathroom. Staff were so very polite and courteous. Breakfast was very nice- very good choice showing higher end of market, albeit a bit slow on service side. Great location to Oxford St, Regent St, Picaddilly etc. Recommended.

Being in seven dials at Covent Garden, was a great location! You have basically everything around you from food/theatre/coffee to start and end your day, and the tube station is just a 5 minute walk. The hotel staff were very pleasant and helpful when needed, but the rooms weren't up to expectations. On the first night we had no water and I had a ripped towel which was not acceptable at all but luckily I wasn't sharing and used the other towel. The breakfast was great though I must say. and they... Read more

This hotel has a perfect location if you enjoy the hustle and bustle of the West End, but also want a good night's sleep. It is close to theatres, Covent Garden, Leicester Square, Trafalgar Square, and a host of other London attractions. The tube station is just a few minutes walk away, and of course, restaurants and pubs are in abundance. We were in room 518 which is a deluxe King. The room was a pretty good size for London, and while the bathroom was a little small for my large bag of toiletri... Read more

This is a great hotel, elegant and charming, in the absolute best location for walking around London. You are literally in the center of everything. We spent four nights here in May and walked all over the area: Westminster Abby, St. James Park, Buckingham Palace, Churchill's War Rooms (amazing), Trafalgar Square, Covent Garden, Oxford Circus... I could go on and on. And if it's not within walking distance (for us a mile or two) there are tube stations literally around the corner that can take y... Read more

Beautiful, ample rooms which were quiet (we were on the seventh floor, so the busyness of the street couldn't be heard). Great views of the new London skyscraper skyline didn't hurt either. The hotel also is perfectly located in Soho - close to shops, tube stations, restaurants, parks - everything! The front desk and concierge were helpful, notably getting us last minute reservations for dinner. Additionally, the hotel has a great continental breakfast at a decent price. This was booked in advance as a gift for myself, my sister and my mum. On arrival we were told that the card my dad used over the phone had only reserved the booking, not paid for it. As the rooms came to over £550 it was a good job that my mum had her credit card on her and could pay! The staff were as helpful as they could have been at the time, but it should have been made much clearer at the point of reserving the rooms that payment is not taken then, and can only be taken in person at chec... We stayed at the Radisson Blu Mercer Street to go to a show. We booked the 'cozy' double rooms and they were small but beautifully formed! We were very aware that the rooms would be small when we booked and they were usual for central London. The position was superb for shows and Covent Garden. Breakfast was served at the tables, which I prefer to a buffet, and were of excellent standard. We will definitely be staying here again on our next London break.

We stayed here in 2013, then again last week and so much of what we enjoyed was still in evidence, great staff, conscientious service, excellent restaurant, wonderful location, and reasonable (for London) tariffs. Some say you "can't go home again", but not so with this Covent Garden gem, just as nice as before, for six nights nothing was too difficult on the part of the staff, we could walk walked to two theaters and all restaurants, plus great shopping nearby. A second family stay for us and the Radisson did not disappoint. From the first minute, the smiling staff go the extra mile to make sure that their guests have a first class experience. Rooms are not huge, but typical for Central London locations, and are well enough equipped. Demand sets the price, but it can become too little value for money. Radisson Blu Edwardian Mercer Street Hotel is nice and pleasant, but the room I got was small and very average. The location is decent. Service was ok , but it ought to be when the guest is charged close to 350 punds for a night. The breakfast average. I stayed with my family for 5 days at the Radisson Edwardian Mercer St. Fantastic location, closed to everywhere in London, choices of restaurants and bars. Rooms were ok, a bit small for a King Deluxe Room (including bathroom). Absence of real curtains over the window made our sleep quite difficult in the early morning. You can't find a better location - so close to wonderful restaurants, theatre, shopping, etc. It is a busy area so if you are looking for quiet and calm, consider one of the other Radisson Blu locations. It's also within walking distance of the Thames and access to the South Bank area, so you have a lot of London open to you. The main entrance was being refurbished so we had to use a side door with little room and a curtain masking another area of the building site. Once we had checked in we made our way to the room. The 'small double' description must have been judged by an estate agent as there was no area... Read more

We made an overnight stay at the Radisson, Mercer Street using this hotel as a base for our visit to The Shard for Afternoon. Well positioned for access to Covent Garden tube this hotel is well positioned for theatres, restaurants and retail. We "snacked" on Tapas at the Monmouth Kitchen on Friday evening and took breakfast and early Dinner on Saturday all of which were excellent and served by friendly welcoming staff. A definite recommendation and a hotel we will certainly re-visit.

The location for theatres, shops and general entertainment was excellent. The breakfast was one of the best in a hotel ever with the choice being incredibly varied. There was some work being done when we arrived but the "inconvenience " was minimal and didn't affect us at all.

When I rang the hotel to book our stay I requested the same room as we had enjoyed in May this year - on arrival I was asked to pay just short of £600 for the 2 nights B & B. When we were showed to our room, apart from having a king size bed there was nothing any different from a standard room and it was not the room we stayed in May. We went for a walk round whilst the receptionist tried to sort things out. After about 3 hours we went back to the hotel to find that we had still been allocate... Read more

Location is second to none. The service was excellent. Rooms a little small but clean and comfortable. Great breakfast selection. They need to extend the cables on the hairdryers so you don't have to stand inside the wardrobe to dry your hair. Expensive for what you get but the location dictates it.

We have used this hotel on several visits to London. The location is great, staff are always helpful and friendly and rooms are clean and modern. Restaurant and bar are very popular so you do need to book ahead if you want to eat there.

Cocktails in the bar were delicious in the cool decor and it's fun people watching as they go by. The room on the top floor had a view of the London Eye and rooftops around Covent Garden. Very comfortable bed and good amenities and very sumptuous decor - I like all the velvets. Breakfast was terrific - such a good selection of fruits and healthy options and the Peruvian breakfast was great, especially if you like a good kick start to the day! Every year we have reason to go to London to see grown children who happen to live in the Soho neighborhood. There are a lot of very high-end, very glitzy very modern hotels in that area but each year we have chosen to avoid those and stay at the Radisson Blu Edwardian Mercer Street - excellent value.. In prior years, the decor was interesting and a little edgy but the staff has always been wonderful and attentive. It is so centrally located you cannot ask for more. On our return this year thou... It is really hard to beat the location of this super little hotel - a stone's throw from the hustle and bustle of Covent Gardent, Soho and all the theatres of the West End but tucked away in a quiet, characterful street next to Seven Dials. The room was very small but comfortable, clean and modern - for my money I would rather be in a great location at a good price and trade off some room size. I was on a high floor and there was no noise at all except for the occasional slamming of doors from ... Read more

We only stayed one night as we were seeing a show but it was the best choice. The location is fabulous...so near Covent Garden and on the seven dials junction which at Christmas it is so pretty. Lots of shops, restaurants and things to do. I have stayed in some nice hotels but this was the best equipped room and the fastest service I have ever encountered. Check-in was good but the room wasn't ready until 3.30pm which was a tiny hitch but in the lobby there was fresh minted water , apples and... Read more

We visited the cocktail bar, the Monmouth Kitchen, on a Saturday for pre-dinner drinks. We were made to feel very welcome by the manager, Ben, who was helpful and informative about the cocktails, and happy to chat too. It is always nice to be treated courteously and with interest, instead of as just another faceless customer. We would definitely return here. Cocktails were delicious too!

I frequent the Radisson Mercer at least 3 times a year. The rooms are clean and a fair size for central London. If you have the standard room, you will battle to get two big suitcases in the room and not much cupboard space either. I would suggest a business class as you will at least be able to move about. The restaurant has now changes from the Scoff & Banter to Monmouth. I like the Scoff and Banter as you had a menu that gave a variety of options, some nice and plain which is what you w... Read more

This is a good property as it is right around the corner from my favorite bar at the Covent Garden...High Flavio...this is my third stay, as I stay here for generally 1-2 nights as I never stay at the same property on London trips as there are so many hotels to try. The nice new addition here is the common area decor as it was dated in January but now they redid it. The rooms are the same but the tapas restaurant is really good. The food is well seasoned and arrives hot at the table. The lobste... Read more

Stayed for a weekend away as a couple. Perfect location, right in the heart of theatre land! Clean, modern hotel, friendly staff and helpful throughout stay. Room was clean, modern and well equipped, only downside was that the room was a little on the small side, but comfortable nevertheless. Cocktail list could do with a little updating but some good options available. In general great value for money and excellent location! Would stay again.

We booked a 2 night stay in this hotel for a Christmas shopping break. This hotel is perfectly situated for bars, restaurants, shops etc. Reception staff very welcoming and polite. Hotel was spotlessly clean and our room was perfectly adequate. Bed was amazing. So comfy! On the negative side, the cocktails were the smallest I've ever had, no snacks served with your drink. I wanted to like this place, really I did. I've grown fond of this chain of hotels in other cities and so they set a standard for me. This one has all the makings of a great hotel: excellent service, fabulous location. Open the door to your room and the facility simply doesn't deliver. The bed is comfortable (but the tacky quilt and pillows are hideous.) The bathroom is fine, but a matching postage stamp. All the staff were very helpful especially Ed on the front desk who could not have done any more to help us. Room 707 is one of the best rooms we've stayed in anywhere. Location of course is perfect.
