Cramped bedroom, bed pushed up against the wall, noisey air conditioning and a window that wouldn't open. Bathroom so small you couldn't sit on the toilet properly as knees pushed against wall!! Haphazard (and worryingly dangerous?) response to a fire alarm..no communication and guests still allowed to use restaurant Hotel booked by 3rd party for work meeting....wouldn't book it myself if given option

This hotel turned a normal weekend away into a luxurious never to be forgotten experience. The hotel was lusciously presented, all the staff we encountered were incredibly helpful and professional from the concierge to the maintenance staff. The room was extremely clean, fresh, not overly spacious and very well presented. Room service was excellent. The Scoff and Banter restaurant was impeccable, We have the breakfast option, and we can honestly say it's one of the best breakfast experiences we... Read more

My husband and I stayed here May 17-May 22, 2016 for our anniversary trip. We were very pleased with the location and decor of the hotel. We took a 10 min bus trip from St. Pancras and walked around the corner to the hotel. Also, the British Museum was one block over. Soho was a 8-10 mins walk for lots of nightlife. Oxford St, which is great for shopping, was 6-8 mins walk. Although very small, the room was very nice. Breakfast in the Scoff and Banter restaurant downstairs was exceptional. Buffe... Read more

Spacious room, free wi-fi and good shower. Great breakfast. Even with all this lovely comfort, they did something really good. They didn't have twenty pillows on the bed. But the two they did have were too large for comfort!

Rooms are a bit small yet it's Europe. Very well fitted out lobby, halls & room. Helpful staff. Across the street is the Rad. Edwardisn Bloomsbury hotel and down the street the Bloomsbury Hotel which has a nice terrace dinning area. Next block over is the British Museum. Easy to walk to the West End theatres and other sites.

The location, guest experience and rooms were fabulous. The hotel is beautifully decorated and the rooms were very well thought-out. They had conveniences for international travelers (ie. North American power outlets) which I really appreciated.

The room was spacious and clean, the location was good and the area was quiet at night. But the staff acted horribly during several issues during my stay, including a fire alarm in the middle of the night. Try a different hotel in the chain and maybe you'll have better luck.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The location is great; close enough to restaurants, pubs, and the tube, but not in an area that felt overly busy. The staff were all great, and the room was quite nice. One nice touch was that they had power outlets for North American and European plugs. Breakfast was included with the price of the room, and it was very good (buffet). All in all a great hotel and good value for London.

We had a brilliant stay at this hotel visiting London. Staff very friendly and helful from checking in to leaving, and constantly checking during our stay that we were comfortable. We were celebrating a special anniversary and given a complimentary upgrade making it even more special. The breakfast was very good, giving plenty of cooked and continental choices, again with very pleasant service. Would definitely stay here again and can highly recommend.

The hotel is in pretty good location, there about about four tube stations within walking distance, Tottenham Court Road is the closest but it is only 15-20 walk from Euston main line station. Rooms are the usual London size, not that big but reasonable enough, even had a desk to work at with plenty of sockets. There is quite a small TV and bizarrely it is on the wall at the foot of the bed, the wall slopes away so you can only see it if you are actually on/in the bed. I had a room on the 6th f... Read more

Hotel and staff are lovely. Room looked lovely and presentable on arrival. Only issue we had with our room was the bed and the air con. Our bed was slightly noisy and the mattress wasn't comfortable at all so I didn't get a good enough nights sleep. I stay here about three times a year, roughly, and have always really liked it. As is obvious from other reviewers, it has an outstanding location in its favour. The British Museum is almost literally next door and you can walk to many, many other notable places, which these days, in London, is by far the best way to get anywhere under a couple of miles away I would suggest. We stayed for 3 nights and were very pleased. The location is superb, a few minutes to the Tottenham court road station, easy walking distance to Oxford street, Covent Garden and Soho. Easy to pop by and unload all your purchases while shopping. The staff are very nice and helpful. The bed was comfortable but our room was really small with little room to move around, easily the smallest hotel room I have ever stayed in.

Stayed here in July while spending a weekend in London. After a friendly greeting I seem to have been overly quizzed about my agenda at reception as the booking was in my partner's name and not mine (even though I had it on my phone). She was running late for an appointment so I went ahead. After I got past the 'Are you here for business or pleasure?' 3 times over, I was informed that a 'nice room' would be found for us. Little did I realise that was code for 'pokey grotty corner room on the 1st... Read more

This visit I have an excellent room. A welcome note from the Guest Relations Manager. Thank you for taking notice of my last year experience. This year everything is wonderful. The room is renovated, clean, air conditioning is very good. Thank you Mr. Alejendo . I am planning to come next weekend and when ever I will come to London , stay in this hotel as I used to. The staff are nice and I am really happy. Thanks again . T.

We have just checked in to this hotel and I am so angry I want to check out and go somewhere else. We arrived just after check in time and were told the system was down so we couldn't check in yet. We understand these things happen so we took a seat. An hour later a family come in and were told the same thing, they started to complain and were checked in immediately! Then the same lady who greeted us and took our bags came over and looked at us like she didn't know us and asked if we needed to b... Read more

Fantastic hotel within easy walking distance of Tottenham court road, Covent garden, Oxford street and Soho. Lovely room on sixth floor which was clean and had everything we needed. Staff really friendly and helpful especially Keith who served us at breakfast and a waiter who served us at the bar unfortunately didn't get his name. Would definitely recommend and visit again.

I stayed here with my daughter for a night and was so impressed by our experience. Our check in was smooth and our room (as requested) was available earlier than check-in. I really appreciated this after a long journey with a 5 year old. And very generously we had been upgraded to a suite. And wow....it was fabulous. A huge comfortable bed, lovely bathroom with bath and shower - the 5 year old used both! Room was beautifully decorated and some lovely extra touches. Breakfast was super... Read more

The hotel is in a fantastic location and is very modern looking. The hotel itself was clean, tidy and modern. Few cons are the extremely uncomfortable pillows and the AC in the rooms is pointless. The breakfast was fantastic, overall would recommend.

Strayed from my normal hotel in Russell Square and stayed here. The services, including meals, were fantastic. Nice walking distance from Underground, Brit Museum and Leicester Sq. The Concierge, Mohammed, was fantastic! They were always looking to see that you had a great time and wanted for nothing.

The location is perfect, right next to the British Museum and very close to Soho. Several underground stations withing walking distance. The room was very clean, including the bathroom. The bed was comfortable, and the room was an adequate size (perhaps on the small side). Quite a lot of noise from the corridor and adjacent rooms - I kept thinking the door was being opened to our room, but it was the next room over. No sockets by the bed which was annoying. The room was very very small. It was approx 2 metres square and felt like a cell. It is not value for money at all. Search around for better hotels. OK it's comfortable and smart but there are many other hotels within this location which would offer better value for money.

I stayed for a weekend at the Edwardian Kenilworth operated by the Radisson Blu brand. The hotel has a great location that is why I opted in for this one. 1 minute away from British museum, really close to Tottenham court road, Oxford St and all amenities. The room was small heading towards the street which was a bit of a nuisance. The bed however was fantastic and really comfortable. Bathroom a bit too small and weird architecture as I have the impression they want to make things modern, but ke... Read more

We booked this hotel for a two night stay before catching the eurostar. The location was great because it was a short walk from Euston and right on the doorstep for many of Londons great theatres. The room was rather small, as was the bed, but it was very clean and comfortable. We wanted to see a show at the Aldwich but did not know where it was. The staff were very helpful and the concierge Colm could not be praised enough. He managed to get us tickets at a discount for that evening. Would def... Read more

As usual, I'll try to start with the positives, and it definitely has some. The hotel is generally clean. The check-in/out staff are pleasant and helpful. Location is fantastic. A block walk to British Museum, near Oxford Street, near Covent Gardens, etc. I know that location commands a premium, and I'm sure that if you were to look in the general vicinity, that hotel prices are likely to be around the same range. However, talking about real-life value, I just didn't feel that it was worth... Read more

Radisson Blu Edwardian Kenilworth and Bloomsbury (located just across the street) collaborated with one of their hotel restaurants -- the lovely Scoff and Banter -- to put on a really fabulous event for our group of 70 just this last Friday. The food was brought out in well-timed intervals, the quality was fabulous for our group of students and scholars (many of whom were very jet-lagged, but this part of the multi-day orientation for them was a definite "pick me up"), and the service was friend... I recently paid £212.16 for a room at the Radisson Blu Edwardian Kenilworth Hotel in London to celebrate my pregnant wife's birthday and see a show(She is 32 weeks pregnant). When we arrived(early) we were pleasantly surprised at the professionalism and helpfulness of the staff. They checked our luggage in so we could enjoy out day before the 3pm check in to the room. I have been staying at the Kenilworth for over 10 years when I am in London and some aspects have not changed one little bit. Some of the rooms are dated, but the refurbished rooms on the 2nd and 3rd floor are very nice. The hotel has fitted USB sockets in most bedrooms reducing the need for chargers etc, and the refurbished rooms have more sockets to plug things in. In the past, in the older rooms, this has been a problem. Rooms on the rear of the building or the upper floors are very quiet des... Read more

Fine if you‚??re travelling. Dropped off the car rental which is not too far from the hotel and took the taxi to the terminal the morning after. The rooms are ok, could be cleaner. It just feels very used! The room was very dark, everything seems of a brownish colour. The wi-fi was free and worked well. Didn‚??t find many restaurants close by at walking distance, however I really didn‚??t make much of an effort.
