On the plus side, our room was quiet, with a comfortable bed. On the minus side, the room was not cleaned until 3:30 in the afternoon on two of our several days stay. We had to ask the woman at the front desk to have someone clean the room when we returned tired at 3:30, and needed a nap. So then we had to wait another 40 minutes for that to be done. Another day they forgot to leave us any coffee to drink, although they did leave tea.(But we are coffee drinkers)

Excellent experience at this hotel, from Reception (where I was upgraded) to breakfast. Would highly recommend it. The suite was beautifully appointed and the experience made a business stay altogether very enjoyable. I would most definitely consider staying here again on future visits.

I stayed here with my daughter for one night as we were seeing a show in the nearby Cambridge Theatre. I had originally chosen this hotel purely on its proximity to the theatre, so we were delighted when it turned out to be such a gem! From the moment we arrived we had a fabulous experience- there was nothing that could be faulted. The staff were so helpful and friendly. The room was perfect- it wasn't huge but felt beautifully luxurious. (As soon as my daughter found the bathrobe and slippers i... Read more

Lovely hotel in a great location. Peaceful area away from the main hustle and bustle. Nearest tube 5 min walk away is Tottenham Court Rd is handy to get around all of central London. Be aware the standard double rooms are tiny but this is fairly normal for London. As a travel agent I didn't pay the 'going rate' but as a luxury hotel I don't think it's over priced. Would recommend.

Stayed here for one night in February 2016. Booked by my husband along with Les Mis as a surprise Xmas present. Room was lovely but quite small. Bathroom also very nice until you had a shower and water went EVERYWHERE! Pillows also dreadful. I admit I'm fairly fussy when it comes to pillows but they were huge until you put your head on one and then you sank to the bottom. A choice of nice firm pillow would have been great. Visited in June for a Friday night, hotel is easy to find looks nice is very clean. The hotel room took 35 minutes to book over the telephone, they were reluctant to let me order campaign for the room which took 10 minutes for them to tell me what campaign they served with price and to agree to have it in the room. Valet parking was promised but when we arrived we were told to park the car ourselves as valet parking stopped at 8 when they knew when we booked it was a must and that we were due to... Read more

I stay here regularly for business and use this hotel for conferences. The staff are wonderful, nothing is ever too much bother, from the breakfast staff, to reception, the concierge, room service staff and housekeeping. A very special acknowledgment for celeste the events manager who is wonderful. Without her this hotel wouldn't be the same. It's clean, always smells amazing, and the food is devine! A truly wonderful hotel in the heart of London!

Stay away from this very average hotel with some of the least helpful staff in London. The place itself isn't too bad. Location is great, really close to Soho, Oxford St, West End Theaters, Piccadilly Circus and Leceister Square. The decor is what you would expect from a Radisson, relatively new, undeniably tacky, but nothing too offensive. The room was tiny for any standards, the bed was fairly small, not even a queen. But the real low was the service. Front desk was always in a horrible mood.... Read more

The room was surprisingly small, which is not a big issue... except that the bed was very small as well, too small for 2. The shower was in a tub, and I had to bend to get under it (I'm 1m90, so not excessively tall). What's more, there is no noise isolation from the corridor, so we were waken up at 1.30am by noisy people. I highlighted these issues to the reception before the night, but apparently all rooms were booked that night. Positive point: convenient location.

Firstly the location is excellent, and the rooms are clean. But we found our superior room to be small and compact (and the age old problem of limited and inconvenient placed power sockets!) Bath room was nice with a in-bath "rain" shower - so if you're expected a powerful shower you'll be disappointed! Despite requesting an early check in (and being a Gold Elite Club Carlson Member for which we were not even recognised for at check in) we arrived to find our room not ready. Instead we had to... Stayed here from 24th to 27th July as a treat for our Silver Wedding Anniversary. Dispite advising reception, no special surprises for us, never mind. This hotel is excellently located for all activities in London, we hardly used the tube and walked everywhere. The British museum is about a 3 minute walk away straight ahead of you as you exit the main doors to hotel, and if you take a right turn you are on New Oxford St and a few metres further Shaftesbury Ave. We had booked a standard double ... Normally stay in the other nearby Radisson but definitely prefer this hotel. Spacious room with the most comfortable hotel bed I've ever slept in. Breakfast selection was excellent however the restaurant is a bit small and some of the staff a bit inexperienced even cleaning a window next to us as we were eating. Old buildings are attractive, but we need some modern facilities when abroad. This hotel just like the hotels in Tokyo, and I feel at home staying here. I stayed here for 2 nights in July 2016. The hotel is very clean and the staff were really friendly. The room was lovely, although my only concern was that there was no dressing area; the chairs were on the other side of the room opposite the mirrors and they were rather heavily and we couldn't move them closer to the mirrors. Also, there was a lack of plugs. I realise that the chair/mirror situation will probably not concern around 80% of this hotel's guests! The bed was one of the most comfy... Read more

I stay in London every week, the same few Club Carlson hotels, but fancied a change this week. It was a very short one night stay. Check in was atrocious, guy was rude and pretty condescending. We stayed here just one night for a birthday celebration. Firstly we were greeted so politely by the staff and they were very accommodating and welcoming. We had a complimentary upgrade which was nice to hear and when mentioned, I was given birthday wishes. The room was very big and had a lovely bathroom and huge bed! We didn't stay long as we went out for the evening but when we came back we found a birthday cake in the room for me- which was just lovely. It's little touches which make your st... Read more

Just returned from 2 nights at the Radisson Bloomsbury, I have stayed here many times and yet again it has failed to disappoint me. In brief, the service was great the food was excellent and the room clean and comfortable. Definitely recommended to all who are looking for a central London stay as the location is excellent, a couple of minutes from Shaftesbury avenue, seven dials etc.. a touch further Covent Garden. Book it !

Very special night , was very important occasion, all went well , hotel staff were very helpful and professional, it was a strict Itinerary for the evening and they did well in catering to every one . Food that Evening was fair, not marvellous. Our room for the night was small but lovely, smart ,contemporary, and with every thing you needed , from magazines to mini bar , so all in all a very good stay, and highly recommend here for a theatre trip to London . You could not be nearer to all the ... Read more

Stayed for 3 nights here and found the hotel, staff and ambience very good apart from the pillows!I They were really firm and uncomfortable so rang and asked for a different type to be told they did have thinner pillows which I readily agreed to. Alas a few minutes later had a call to say they didn't have any available so we had to spend two more nights on uncomfortable pillows. At £300 a night I think this was clearly out of order.

I visited this hotel with my teenage granddaughter. The bedroom (business class) was excellent . Very comfortable bed, stunning wet room with power showers - yes showers plural - and coffee maker with pods. Wide screen wall mounted TV. But the breakfast was such a disappointment - limited choice, unhelpful staff, insufficient plates, and food was not piping hot. however they did supply gluten free bread.

Having stayed in this hotel on many occasions over the past number of years, when I contacted them today to make a last minute cancellation, I expected better support from their front desk. Granted my request was last minute, but the hotel were unwilling to even refund part of my booking despite the almost certainty that they would have no trouble filling the room in central London this close to Christmas. Not happy, and will look elsewhere for my business trips in future.

My wife and I booked this hotel primarily for the location which was absolutely perfect for what we wanted. It is literally less than a 5 minute walk to Covent Garden, about the same to the end of Oxford Street and just round the corner from the British Museum. Covent Garden and Tottenham Court Road tube stations are also both less than a ten minute walk away so really could not have been better situated. There is another Radisson Blu in Mercer Street slap bang in the middle of Covent Garden but... Read more

Having stayed in the Executive suite on the 7th floor at this hotel - I must say it was a fantastic room. Staff are extremely pleasant and well presented. A wonderful hotel close to a lot of the attractions, with the Dominion Theater just round the corner. I would return to this hotel 100%, its ideal for a night or a couple of nights on a weekend break.

Booked last minute, as I often do and, again, as I often do, I booked the wrong night. Arrived Saturday morning but there was no booking reference.. What an idiot. The staff were amazing and after initially thinking Id have to pay twice, they'd got me another room and the stress was gone. Rooms were quite small but lovely and had all the right amenities. Lobby had some great artwork and I loved the security feature to get in the lift. Unfortunately, I didnt get the chance to eat in the H... Read more

Because we had good experience's with other Radisson Blu hotels in different European city's we booked a long weekend in Londen in the Radisson Blu Edwardian Bloomsbury Street Hotel. Well the hotel was a big dissapointment and we tried to stay as little as possible in the hotelroom altough we paid almost 260 euro's night! * It was very very small. You couldn't even walk around the bed without bending for the TV on the wall * I couldn't stand under shower in the bath straight up because the showe... Read more

My wife and I have stayed at this hotel many times for holidays, absolutely best location, service and rooms. It is one block back from Oxford Street and 10 to 15 minutes (maximum) walk to the West End, Chinatown and Leicester Square. On this occasion we stayed on the Business Class Floor, excellent room and again the service from the team at the Radisson Blu was exceptional, however above and beyond from the Concierge desk is Gareth and Sidanne, they simply want you to enjoy your stay and noth... 4 of us met up here. Pre booked for a night after the game at Twickenham. Told it was 2 doubles which would not work. The place was full!! Anyway an excellent lady on reception by the name of Candy took on the problem and after a while got it sorted so we had 4 singles. A good breakfast was had after a good nights sleep. Would stay here again when next in town.

Only stayed one night as part of a group. The location of the hotel was good, a short stroll from Tottenham Court Road tube station. Check in was fast and friendly. The bedroom was disappointing, I think it was an easy access room for wheel chairs on the first floor. I found the room depressing in colour and decoration, very little natural light. It was very clean, but a little old fashioned. Coffee was instant, no pod machine. Bathroom had a large shower only and the access to the toilet was qu... Read more

When we returned to our room after an evening out a pipe had busts above and water was pouring from the ceiling, although this is an accident, the staff responded poorly. after the initial report nobody had responded within 20 minutes, I called down to reception, no reply, I then had to report again personally. At no point was there an apology or enquiry to see if we or our belongings were ok!

The check-in was painfully slow. The worst, however, was a party going on downstairs in a ball room that was far from soundproof. If I want this kind of noise I might as well stay in the middle of Soho. To add insult to injury the receptionist claimed the party would finish at 11 pm. Turns out the organizers rented the room well past midnight. To be avoided at all cost.

This hotel has an excellent location, right next to the British Museum, close distance to many theaters and restaurants. The hotel service is ok, good breakfast, on-site restaurant. It was a big surprise that the hallway (5th floor) had a very funky urine smell when I arrived. I couldn't believe that a 4-star hotel could be like this. It did get better afterwards, but the smell was always there.

Nice looking period hotel with a modern twist in a charming part of London. Reception was fine but our room on the second floor had an aircon duct making quite some noise but reception were very good and re-located us on the 6th floor (Good tip in London go high as you can to minimize noise from late nighters and bin men) Breakfast was my big dissapointment. We arrived at 10am and I ordered two poached eggs for my wife and myself. They offered to bring these to the table but as we wanted some o... Read more
