Yes, i wasn't disappointed with the facility of the hotel. Breakfast was nice and plentiful. Doorman was kind and professional and receptionist was also friendly and helpful. Only thing i personally didnt like was the amount of middle eastern customers who had huge amount of perfume on them that made the lobby stink of complete random smell that you cant figure out what it was.

The only advantage of the hotel is its location other than that don't expect a unique service. My experience which made me not to appreciate my stay as follows: 1- I kept calling several times to reception and house keeping for them to answer. 2- I got a room that was for people with special needs. 3- I came to my room at 5 pm and it wasn't yet cleaned and organised while I left my room at 7 am. Frontdisk staff are friendly and try to help, and breakfast is above average.

Having just returned from our stay last night, I do want to say we loved the hotel and are really pleased we received the £60 upgrade as found the excutive lounge to be out of this world and a great addition to our stay. I do just want to say we went into the lounge just before 6pm and found a table for the canapés but not long after we sat down, another guest was insisting to a staff member they wanted a table for 15 in there as they were having a birthday celebration, I did feel sorry for h... This isn't a cheap hotel and it lacks some basic things to compete with the likes of Marriott. We used it to be convenient for the Barclays BST events in Hyde Park. It's very close but not good enough and we won't be using this again. For example the club level room only serves soft drinks during the day and no food. The rooms are OK but small. And beware of the bar on the top floor. When we went it took an age to be served at the bar but we finally got a couple of drinks. Then we sat d... Read more

Overall this is a nice, upscale, modern hotel in the Mayfair area of London. It is right across from Hyde park near hyde park corner, a 5 minute walk to the underground at hyde park corner and around the block from Piccadilly which you can walk up to get to Piccadilly circus (~15 minute walk). We used as a base to walk to the museum area in Kensington, harrod's in Knightsbridge, over 3/4 of Hyde park and Kensington, as well as to Piccadilly and the west end for shopping, sightseeing and the the... Stayed here for the weekend in an executive room, which gave us access to the executive lounge on the first floor. The room was adequate, definitely NOT 5 star! The bathroom was tiny and horror of horrors, a shower over the bath. All staff were helpful and polite but service at breakfast was lacking. No one came to ask us what we would like to drink and had to ask three times before we got a drink. Good view over London from the room and overlooking Hyde Park. Check in and out, very effic... Great views of all attractions from our room. And oh yeah, the hotel was great, too. Nice sized, very comfortable room. Lots of good on property food choices. This was a Mothers Day gift from my daughter. Unusual and tasty selection of sandwiches plus warm chocolate chip and plain/fruit scones. Also delicious was the nutty chocolate tea. Staff were very good about my depositing a hood full of water on their floor from the pouring rain. Only slight quibble was that there weren't two of each cakes which meant trying to cut things in half so we could each try everything - slightly tricky with the chocolate mousse. The only good thing about the hotel is the location. Other than that it's terrible - probably not been maintained for a number of years if not decades. Despite my rate being a King guest room, I had 2 beds and 2 mattresses (not even a single mattress + the mattress was uncomfortable and provided little back support Room was not very clean - some dirt on the carpet and toilet seat No double glazing and my room was overlooking Park Ln so despite being on a high floor and closing the curtains, you ... Lovely hotel and great location. However I don't personally feel is it 5*. The pillows were ridiculously lumpy and we heard our drain in the bathroom making noises all night. Unlike most hotels, The Hilton does not provide even 1 bottle of complimentary water and expects you to pay £5.50 for one small bottle of Evian from the mini fridge! I would quite frankly rather die of thirst. Quite disgusted by that and left quite a bitter taste (pardon the pun).
