The hotel is well situated. I didn't expect the room to be so big. It had a quite comfortable bed as well. The service was quite good; the receptionist even came to the room to give the dental kit. However, the breakfast place was a mess. There seemed to be a buffet as well as a la carte. I ordered something but it didn't come by in 20 min and I said that I had to leave for my meeting. They let me eat from the buffet, didn't charge for the breakfast and apologized profusely - nothing wrong wit... Read more

Stayed here a couple of times a few years ago. Thought I would give it ago again as I was in London visiting friends. The hotel rate was quite reasonable comparing I booked it fairly late. Although I had a slight issue with the room during my stay. I notified reception and they were very good in resolving the issue. The breakfast here was great. The staff are very helpful and extremely professional. Great location as well.

Stayed 2 nights over London Marathon weekend. Our room was one of the loveliest we have stayed in in London, colourful and spacious. Reception staff extremely nice and friendly. Breakfast not included in our deal but very easy to go in and order as much or as little as you want. Bit pricey though. Short walk to Tower Bridge, the Tower and Aldgate Tube. Some pubs nearby, didn't appear to have late bar open at the hotel and didn't see anyone in the restaurant. Late night drinks available across th... Read more

Excellent location, just 150 meters from Aldag tube station or 250 m from tower of London. Hotel is nice, though compact, like most hotels in London, it has a nice restaurant downstairs. Internet works very well across the venue. I was upon arrival upgraded to the Tower Hill suite, which is an ensuite room with small living room area separated by a corridor of the room, and in between there's a spacious bathroom (with a walk in shower). Room is stylish and comfortable, AC is working well and ... Read more

Other hotels from the IHG brand have so much to learn from this flagship hotel. Always my preferred hotel when on business trips to London. This hotel was ideal for what my wife and I were looking for. We had booked a 1 night stay and wanted to sample cocktails at the Shard, visit the Tower of London and watch a Westend show. The hotel is a 5 minute max walk from the tube and Tower of London so ideally situated. From the moment we walked in, the girls on the front desk were very cheerful and helpful - unlike some hotels where they just go through the motions. From the outside the hotel doesnt look like anything stunning however once you get inside the hotel and into the rooms its really beautiful. Modern Medieval if that makes sense! The staff could not have been more helpful and friendly - they couldnt do enough for us. The only thing that niggled my goat a little was my husband and I had 1 drink in the bar before bed time and we were charged a 12.5% service charge for this. I was in a premium room for a few nights, and it was beautifully decorated and cozy. I like this boutique chain for making their guest rooms feel unique instead of like cookie cutter hotel rooms, and the Aveda toiletries were a nice touch. Ditto for the free chocolate/snacks/water each day and coffee/hot chocolate fixins. Wifi was reliable and fast. Bed super comfy. Free newspaper each day was an added perk. Stayed at this hotel for one night after entertaining clients at nearby Wine Library. Welcome at reception by two Italian ladies was lovely. Room was great, with a four poster bed and fantastic bathroom, although the extractor fan was noisy, so I was moved to the Tower Bridge Suite, which was great - a slightly larger room although no longer with a view of Tower Bridge due to adjacent developments. This is a surprising hotel in a good way. It isn't necessarily the best looking hotel from the outside but that's deceptive. The reception staff were extremely courteous and efficient and friendly. Room was clean, bed was comfortable (once I'd removed all the surplus cushions and pillows). Bathroom quite large, but quite gloomy. Was trying to work in the evening, but wifi was very weak and kept dropping - very disappointing for hotel in centre of London. This hotel is easy to get to via a couple of tube stations - we came into Tower Hill, and it was just over a 5 minute walk away. It's in a nice area with lots of bars & restaurants nearby. We had a nice room which was really quiet. We didn't have breakfast, but we did have a drink in the bar (benefits of the HIG rewards club). Great all around. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Room was big for what I've experienced in London and was also nice, clean, and comfortable. It's a bit of a walk to good restaurants and pubs but tube stations are close if you fancy a ride instead.

Second time I've stayed in an Indigo hotel and have been impressed both times. A good spacious room, incredibly comfortable bed, totally quiet (apart from the creaking floor from the room above!), free Wi-Fi and bottles of water, and proper sized bath towels, made this a faultless stay. Definitely recommended.

Stayed for two nights for a birthday weekend away. This hotel is very reasonably priced (for London) and I was very impressed. The staff are very friendly and helpful, anything we needed they were happy to help with. The rooms are small but they are spotlessly clean, modern and furnished to a high standard. The location was great, lots of tube stations within a 5min walk of the hotel and close enough to all the best areas and attractions without all the added noise and crowds. I would definitely... I spent two nights at the Indigo for a work trip. The bedroom and bathroom both beautiful, clean and well designed, bed very comfortable, staff very friendly and helpful, 2 mins walk from the tube. Highly recommended for business or pleasure. Complimentary drinks snacks and Nespresso machine nice bonus. Thank you Indigo!

We arrived early to the hotel, were warmly welcomed by the reception staff and allowed to check in and leave our luggage until our room was available. The hotel has a modern feel, the rooms are not huge but have what you need for a pleasant stay. The hotel went that little bit further and provided complementary water, canned drinks, chocolate and pods for the Nespresso machine alongside the usual tea and coffee facilities. The location is excellent as it is a 5 minute walk to Tower Bridge and... Read more

The Hotel Indigo London at Tower Hill is in a wonderful location if you want to explore the east end of London. I enjoyed the chance to see some new neighbourhoods and easily visit Whitechapel Art Gallery. There is good access to several Tube stations and even to the Thames River Bus that I used for the first time. Lots of coffee/breakfast shops nearby, and Spitalfields Market and Brick Lane was a very nice surprise on the weekend. My only disappointment was with the mediocre design of the room ... Read more

Stayed here for a night while visiting my student daughter. Very comfy bed & enjoyed an excellent night sleep. Good to stay in a small hotel. Enjoyed a reasonably priced continental breakfast, staff were helpful & friendly. Would like to return.

Great little hotel. You can use ther wifi and Android free of charge. With maps and directions -you just walk around in London with it. No charge. And give it back when you leave. Barman knows when you have been over worked. Have fun.

My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights when in London. It's a wonderful little hotel, very close to the Aldgate and Tower Hill tube stations. We found this location to really work for us, and the hotel itself was a wonderful little oasis. They have great little touches that any traveler would appreciate (like restocking complimentary water, juice and treats in the mini fridge for you every night). We liked this place and we tend to stay in nice hotels when we travel, so if you like a nice "h... Read more

Great location, a few minutes walk from tube station. Close to the Tower too. Good sized room by London standards, clean room with a comfy bed, modern feel and quiet location. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again next time I return to the city area.

Another great stay at the Indigo, this time with 6 co-workers. For the first time I did not stay in a corner room and although my room was still quite nice, it was not as spacious as the corner rooms. In addition, one of my coworkers had a tiny room, even by London standards. Service was fantastic as usual, breakfast was great and the room amenities (nespresso machine, free internet, great quality shower and toiletries, etc were great). I would stay here again but would be sure to get a corn... Read more

Sadly this is going to be my last review on Trip Advisor due to continuous loss of points. Not being able to discuss this via email , I wrote to Trip Advisor at their HO without any reply. So I have decided my efforts are wasted spending all my time writing reviews while losing hundreds of points for no reason at all. I took my wife to Hotel Indigo Tower Hill, London, this is across from Aldgate underground station , turn right then left onto Minories at number 142 on the right , a few yards f... Read more

Booked here for my wife's surprise 40th birthday and so glad I did. From the moment we walked in, to the birthday treats of cake and champagne, we were treated fantastic. Located 2 minutes walk from Aldgate and Tower Hill stations it's the ideal base for visiting all the sights London has to offer.

I like hotels with a lot of light and light colors, this one is not. He seems a bit dark, just as the room. The only bright place was the bathroom, all white and nice. I liked that I had an iron and ironing board in my room, coffee machine and tea. The room sseems to be a bit small if there are 2 people. For myself was ok. The bed was ok. Every day cleaning. The service was ok, the food from the restaurant was tasty.

Stayed here for one night with my partner using Rewards Points. The room was lovely - very contemporary and the bed was very comfortable. As a Spire member we received drinks and snacks so stopped off in the bar for some wine with nuts. A very enjoyable experience; I would definitely stay here again

Stayed here for one night only unfortunately. Lovely room, pillows on bed were great. Location was perfect just a few minutes walk to and from Aldgate tube station. We didn't have breakfast included in our rate, but we booked at the front desk with the very helpful receptionists, and was actually very good value for money, choice of pastries, toast, fruit, yoghurt, waffles, cheese, meats, smoked salmon, juices and then the option of various cooked breakfast too all for £12.50 including unlimite... Booked this hotel from Australia 9 months prior to our arrival. During that time there had been a name change from the Quality Crown Hotel to the Mecure hotel. The staff there where wonderful & told us that their sister hotel, Hotel Indigo would be looking after us. They helped us with our bags upto our apartment a few doors down from the hotel & the room itself was comfortable & clean. Breakfast every morning was brilliant, plenty to chose from & the hot chocolate is so good. I had mentioned at... Read more
