Room was small, simple and clean. Just nice to bunk after day our sightseeing London. Location was near 2 Tubes Queensway & Bayswater (about 5 mins walk) and about 15mins walk to Paddington. Near many Asian restaurants Indian, Mid East, Chinese. You also get Italian and English. Nice pubs around the corner Baywaters Arms & Prince Alfred for a pint and good burgers. One thing that can be improved is to have a better breakfast selection.

I was shocked to discover no protection covers on the pillows or mattress- although actual bedding was clean the pillows were absolutely riddled with huge stains! I was too scared to check the mattress in case of what i might have actually found! Breakfast was basic, tinned fruit, brown srambled egg, cheap bread - poor. Grubby decor, filthy nets, bathroom looked like it hadn't had proper clean in a year or two -wish i had shopped around!

Very good location, within walking distance to Kensington, Notting Hill, Oxford Str. A clean hotel although a little worn out. Breakfast OK. Service a little harsh but working well. Would stay again for a budget visit to London!

The holiday villa is as you'd expect for a 2* budget hotel. It's tired but has a eccentric old English feel, that is until you go to breakfast. Breakfast reminds me of my time at school, cold buffet with some scrambled egg and beans. Don't expect a hello or a smile as i think the theme they were aiming for here was "get me out of this russian goulag, I'm a celebrity" Other than that, i slept well, no real noise to disturb me and a nice neighbourhood.

I read all the reviews before booking my hotel, and I thought for the price I would try anyway. It was easy to find the hotel. It is near to 2 Metro Station and one block from Hyde Park. The room was good enough for me and my friend. Not the cleanest room, but for London and good Price the room was good. Quite area. Breakfast was horrible. The staff at the breakfast room was very rude, everyday the tables were dirty and if you ask them to clean they would give you attitude. The front desk staf... Read more

After reading reviews on here, but having already booked and paid for my one night stay - I was expecting the worst, but I was pleasantly surprised. Firstly, it's clean. Our twin room was spacious. The staff at the desk were very chatty and helpful. Mid winter and the hotel was warm. Is also close to two tube stations and lots of restaurants and shops locally. Things mentioned by other reviewers that were not an issue: 1/ wifi connection, it's not great - but London is one of the most excitin... Read more

Dear fellow travelers, I strongly recommend you guys look for another hotel if you are considering this area or the west end of London. The staff, including the managers on duty, do not help with any issue including room service (or lack thereof). The breakfast is shockingly awful and as mentioned in comments below, the crockery is dirty. The WiFi is good in the lobby but you will struggle for signal in your room. The upsight to this place is that the bed isn't half bad and the location is ... Read more

I choose this hotel due to its favourable location. It's on Leinster Gardens, Bayswater and there are so many international restaurants in the area and various shops and stuff. As other reviewers have mentioned it is an OLD hotel and hence the creaking floors. Rooms are tiny (at least mine was) but was warm and comfy enough in November. Breakfast spread was average. The hotel is near the Queensway and Bayswater tube station.

We found the staff to be abrupt, the breakfast was very poor, my wife handed back some dishes that were not cleaned properly, the next day we out for breakfast, the two cups that were in the room were not cleaned after the first day we used them, the milk had gone off, said good morning to the staff only to be ignored and it seems that the staff take priority over the left which is very slow and only takes 3 people max, At about 0625 we were woke by the pipes banging which must have woke most o...
