Had a 2 course meal, I started of with seabass, my other friend had the same, another one had lamb kebab (can't remember the proper name sorry) and my other friend had duck. All ours were lovely, but my friend said the duck was very tough, she didn't like to complain, so I did. Went for coffee to Twenty Twelve with a view to having lunch there. Unfortunately there was a luncheon going on and although we were there at 11.45 am they would not be able to serve us until 1.30 pm. We sat for a while and at 12.30 we were getting very hungry. Unbeknown to us KK (Kailish Kanojia the Food and Beverages Manager) accompanied by Tarik had noticed our plight and invited us there and then to join the luncheon! What customer service! I have been staying at the holiday inn at Westfield and whilst it is always hard being away from normality the especially warm welcome afforded by the staff at the holiday inn and in particular a special mention must go to Ana Rita and her fellow associates they made a very busy and hectic schedule during my working day very easy to return to the hotel for a relaxing and welcoming evening in the hotel bar and catered for my every need during my stay.

Arrived for a two day weekend conference and everything we needed was at hand. Clearly a modern and comfortable setting but what distinguishes this place is the staff. They are all - without exception not only well trained but also have the right attitude. They are fun when fun is there and they take every want or need in their stride. Patrick - in the events team is a dream to work with. His technical skills matched with his very positive and friendly nature are a combination for success.

Stayed here for 2 nights on business. The hotel is in a good location within a large shopping centre, there are plenty of options to eat outside, however I must say that the food in the hotel is very nice and reasonably priced. The waiter service is also very good and in particular Mizan who's excellent knowledge of the menu, and his friendly service most definitely enhance my dinning experience

We gave Mizan a small menu problem when we sat down, he explained very politely that he would go and consult with his supervisor Aimine (who incidentally was also excellent). We had exactly what we wished for, Mizan was very attentive but respectful of our evening out together. A very pleasant experience.

The property is adjacent to Staybridge suites which may be preferable if you want a kitchen but the breakfast at the Holiday inn is better. The staybridge suites are based on a home style breakfast out of cereal boxes whereas the Holiday inn offers a hotel breakfast. There is a platform over the area where you can sit to have breakfast or sit in the sun on the balcony for the view or coffee/drinks. You need to park at Westfield which overnight is around £9.50 but you can then walk into the s... Read more
