Business trip to London. Centrally booked through agency. Convenient for Wigmore St but barely functional. Allocated an Executive Room but only provide free water. At £280 per night not good value. Small snag with lighting solved by sweaty maintenance guy with bad BO. Not happy!

You can't get more central than this. Located near the Bond St tube station, close to Selfriges, Debenhams and Marks and Spencer, walking distance to Marble Arch and all of Oxford St, east and west, good for walking and sight seeing. Rooms are comfortable and recently upgraded. The lobby has been renovated as well. When booking a room, make sure you book the breakfast, have it included, otherwise its 16 pounds extra. The English breakfast is a great way to start the day. There are numerous pubs... Read more

I stayed at this hotel on a Sunday night in a twin room. Prior to my visit I had an email asking for preferences for my stay, I asked for hypoallergenic pillows. The hotel is in a great location just by bond St tube station. Check in was quick and easy, there is a nice little bar on the ground floor. The room had every thing you need, nice beds, good quality bedding, the requested pillows in soft and hard where on the bed, good size tv, clean bathroom and room. After leaving our luggage on c... Bond st underground is less than 5 minutes, with great connections to main stations. As for the hotel, the members of staff are all friendly and accommodating. This hotel is an older building with smaller rooms and narrow hallways so it's a bit hard to navigate. However for the price, the clean rooms and location are good. The walls are thin, so all the hall noise drifts in. Heavy doors make loud noises.

The best USP of this hotel is its location - it is very close to the famous Oxford Street. It is competitively priced too given its location. Like all Holiday Inns across the globe, this too is professionally run with excellent service.

We were staying at the near by Regents Park Holiday Inn but were out walking and wanted a drink and rest our feet. The bar area is very pretty and the lady on the bar was very friendly as were reception staff even though we were not guests at their Holiday Inn. The toilets were immaculate. Highly recommend this as a place to either stay, eat or drink. Thank you for making our visit memorable.

Being a priority club member I had the unexpected misfortune on our check in to be told our room was not ready. It was eventually resolved but not before surprising misunderstanding about rooms with bath or shower. The staff seemed to think that our request for a room with shower meant exactly that ; no bath. That meant however a "smaller" room. Anyway all was sorted and our room with bath with shower was as expected and the breakfast next day did not disappoint. Still like this hotel due to it'... Excellent location in the heart of London city! Whether you in London for business or shopping, with Oxford street just round the corner! Excellent services at reception and restaurant! A well placed hotel for the west end of London. It has easy access to Oxford street and surrounding shops / businesses. The hotel is run well, but it needs investment in its rooms which are basic. The bar area is well run, though lacks any barriers to the main reception making it noisy.

Perhaps surprising from a chain hotel, but actually very good! Efficient and quick friendly service on checking in and checking out, very good room size and comfort, excellent breakfast, reasonable (relatively) price. The only quibble we had (bathroom door locked itself while there was no-one in it!) was cheerfully and quickly dealt with.

The hotel is very conveniently situated near the shopping precinct in Oxford street. That is about the only positive note. The rooms are small dated The bathrooms are dirty The room we stayed in the bath room door was in poor state of repairs. The air conditioning system rattled and was noisy The staff are matter of fact and very unhelpful. The attitude comes from the fact they fill the place with unknowing tourist who choose this venues for convenience. All in all wouldn't book here again.

In the morning I asked the Managar to help me out in this matter so she transferred me to different floor. While I'm taking my luggage from 5th floor to 4th floor I met two girls in the hall in the 4th floor and I asked them, how did you sleep, they said we were boiling last night. Many people faced this problem as we did. They charged me 500? for two nights so not worth it at all.

The location of the hotel is very good, it has a nice quiet location but still close enough to everything The rooms are typically Holiday Inn, but clean and tidy Bar area is fine Breakfast was excellent and an oasis of calm It is in a lovely old building, so the hotel's hands are tied slightly, but the reception is very small and is a little cramped when several people arrive at the same time. We have used the Holiday Inn a number of time in the last two years. Yes the fabric of the building and rooms are getting a little tired and in need of refurbishment but the location of the hotel tends to offset these factors. The bedrooms are small but of an acceptable size and the beds are comfortable. The bathrooms are tiny however, and if you are having a shower you have to climb into the bath; certainly there would be more room if it were just a shower.

Poor noise insulation. If you are a light sleeper, this is not the place for you! The noise from running water in the pipes will keep you awake all night, however, the hotel does provide ear plugs to block out the noises. Good location. Stayed here overnight whilst in London with work. Great checkin. Disappointed that the only snack available behind the bar was nuts. Would of been nice to have some crisps or chocolate. No point saying they're in the vending machine as I need to be able to book them to the room. Enjoyed the meal deal, great selection. Really enjoyed it. Breakfast was also well presented. Will definitely be back.

We stayed in this hotel last week. We received a beautiful room on the sixth floor which was kept clean and well stocked at all times. The staff were helpful with all our requests and the location is perfect! Wouldn't think twice about staying here again. Thank you!

Just spent Saturday and Sunday at the holiday inn hotel Oxford Circus.. great central hotel, very clean, very good staff, professional and polite.. the only thing that lets it down is the restaurant and bar meals... not the best ... my advice is to eat out if you can....

Good for shopping, nice breakfast. Staff hepful. Beds comfy. Need to ask for toiletries, but they are free. Walls are very thin on second floor. Annoying couple chatted loudly at 4am, concierge tried to shut them up but they were resistive :(

My daughter and I stayed here as we were in London for a few days and both hate having to use public transport! The hotel is perfectly placed for shopping in both Oxford and Regent Street. It is also within (albeit a longish walk) walking distance of Westminster and lots of places of interest if you'd rather do that. We arrived early, however our room wasn't ready, but the staff on reception were happy for us to leave our bags, leaving us free to wander around the shops unencumbered! When we che... Read more

I find that I rarely go wrong with the large chains in terms of room quality but that was not the case for Holiday Inn Oxford Circus. The reception area is relatively modern but the rest of the hotel is in desperate need of refurbishment. Room 395 needs more than a refurb, they should strip it out and start again. There was no air conditioning and the thermostat on the radiator didn't work so it hard to get the room to the right temperature. It was shabby and it smelt and last but not least, th... Read more

Arrived at hotel, lobby clean and friendly reception staff, check in was quick. Room and bathroom were clean not a bad size. Had 2 single bed which were not a bad size compared to some other hotels. We didn't eat at the hotel so unable to comment on the food. The hotel is ideally located for most areas of London i.e. shopping and the theatres.

The hotel is very centrally placed, just a few 100 yds from Oxford Circus tube station. The room was fairly cramped, but it was clean and had most of the essentials, some of the freebe bathroom shampoos etc. were missing. Our 2 night deal was using reward points which did not include breakfast, but for an additional £14 pp, a good full English breakfast is available.

Spent one night here with my daughter on a trip to London. This hotel is very tired and the walls are very thin. Not good value. Reception staff were not welcoming when we arrived. On other visits to reception the staff seemed to prefer to chat in the back office while we waited for them to help us. This hotel is in a great location for shopping and some staff training and an upgrade of the rooms could make this hotel great!

Rooms very outdated needs to be renovated, staff not very friendly, refused to extend check out time for one an hour!! The only advantage was that the hotel was centrally located within walking distance of Oxford Circus and other attractions

A little tired maybe with a small room - ours anyway. We were a little too close to the lift which was occasionally noisy. Despite that we got a good nights sleep and can have no complaints about the excellent location of the hotel. It's a 5 minute walk from New Bond St Underground so there's a huge choice of shopping and eateries. I paid with IHG Rewards Club points so it was painless. I suspect the standard rate makes it reasonably expensive for what it is.

so many things happened while staying their... 1)bad room service. We stayed all the day out and when we came back to the hotel at 5 PM the room was still not clean. 2) the fire alarm was ringing for more than 10 minutes at 7AM. 3) the staff in the breakfast restaurant were very rude and when I told the manager about how one of the staff dealt with me she said he is in a bad mood and not feeling well, honestly I don't think that an excuse for that bad attitude. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY
