Reception looks good. Staff are helpful. Up until you get to the lifts all is looking good......! Then you get in your noisy cramp dated room. It's clean but rooms are dated..... Would do for one night but any more you'd struggle with a pathetic shower. Breakfast is a shocking event. It's just too manic. People fighting for food. Toasters are the usual shocking rotary style ..... I mentioned to the waiter that my toast was stuck down back .... To which he snapped and said it was... Read more

I've stayed here a few times. Zero character but then it's a Holiday Inn. Location is great but... Rooms are very hit or miss. The side that faces the tube is loud. When the air con is off and it's controlled by the hotel so not on year around, if you open the window the noise is unacceptable. Rooms tend to be cramped and dated with pillows about as comfortable as laying on a slice of toast. Bathrooms are tiny but that's typical for London but they're not the cleanest I've seen. Just had a bad experience booking with this hotel. I had booked for an Advanced Saver Rate in Feb 2016 for my stay in August 2016. The Rate was a full payment non-refundable Rate. That I was clear. Due to changes in my travel plans, I will not be staying in London anymore, and had written to the hotel to appeal if a refund could be made in my favour, even though I fully understood that I had booked a full payment rate room. My reason for the appeal were that the booking was still 3 months out ... Read more

I have to make a special mention of Kristina and Naseeba. They have accommodated and willingly hosted me inspite of the fact that I arrived 5 minutes before close of restaurant. Just got back from visiting London and stayed at this Holiday Inn throughout our seven day vacation. We maximized our time each day by seeing everything we could which means we were gone from 9 a.m. until after 9 p.m. - so the room was pretty much for sleeping and showering. The location is excellent if you are comfortable using the Tube which is literally one block away on Gloucester Road and has a direct shot to Heathrow so it worked out really well for us. We had no problems whatsoever with the hotel. It is quite well known that in London you have to pay quite a bit of money to get a good accommodation, so I was not expecting much. Have to say this was a positive surprise! For the price we paid we were really really happy. We got to check in early and got the bed type we requested. We were also upgraded to 27th floor, do not know if the rooms are any different, but the view is nice and it's of course also less noisy. But if you want total peace a... Read more

I went to Harrods which is right near Knightsbridge tube and St Pauls Cathedral which you must visit. It costs £18 for entry which is worth every penny. I've stayed at this hotel twice now. The first time (October 2014) I had an incredible room with all new furniture and brand new shower fittings. The second time (June 2016) the room showed a bit more ware, and the shower fittings looked dirty and worn, complete with missing covers on some of the hose attachments. Loved the location . There is an energetic buzz to this property with decent restaurant's and a great pub . Their business lounge is great . The staff is friendly and very helpful from the check in to the concierge . The rooms are tight but I find that is normal with hotels in this part of London. The health club is adequate and their breakfast is great.

Food is average, price is ok since it is room service. But service is not consistent. Reason because I don't eat potatoes so I won't like to change the sides to others such as onion rings. I don't want to waste food. I was there for 3 days for business. 1st day I ordered fish and chips. The service staff was really nice they are willing to change the sides without extra charges. 2nd day, I ordered the steak and ale pie. The service staff agreed to change but he seemed to forget about it.... Read more

Conveniently located modern hotel adjacent to London's Gloucester Road Underground Station makes it very easy to get to all parts of London. Although situated on the main Cromwell Road, the entrance is actually located toward the rear overlooking leafy residential streets. All of the staff was very friendly and helpful. This hotel is only 1 block from the Gloucester Road tube station, which offers direct service to Heathrow airport with no change of trains. My wife and I stayed here for 8 nights in late July and were very impressed with the property. We spent a bit more and wanted a king sized bed for our trip and to our surprise this was noted to be an executive room that comes with entry to the executive lounge where you can catch a quick coffee, drink (from 6-8:30 PM), and a snack before heading out for the evening. I stayed in this hotel from 30 July-1 August and though I got a good deal from Hotels.com, the overall service had kept me wanting. The Superior room was cozy and clean but only meets a 3-star standard. The consolation was being on the 14th floor which gave us a pretty good view of the city skyline. The one thing that got me disappointed was one of the men assigned at the Concierge. Starbucks coffee, restaurants, newsagent/souvenirs, ATM all onsite. Big lobby, big hotel. Downside is noisy air circulation system and faded carpets. Sliding door on bathroom... Hard to budge. The bed and pillows are hard and uncomfortable. There is no thermostat control beyond on or off inside the rooms. I was so tired I couldn't figure out what to do. so I woke up in the night, so cold that I had to put on the duvet from the second bed. Not a very good experience but probably partly my fault.

We stayed here for 2 nights, this is a busy, huge and impersonal hotel. The room was comfortable with some bathroom renovations needed. The king size bed was comfortable and housekeeping was discreet and prompt. Breakfast was buffet style with most tastes catered for. Plenty of places locally to eat and a Waitrose almost next door. The big plus for us was the convenience and closeness to the West End and the Piccadilly underground line. Obviously the American air crew have it as their second hom... Read more

In comparison to several years some changes in experience. Standards rooms are still small however with the necessary comfort, however it needs some t.l.c. During other stays I felt more care for the guests that now, I have the feeling that the management has changed. Prices are as you would expect in the capital, service could have more smile and care as mentioned before. Breakfast was fine for such an industrious hotel, good choice but not personal , I guess it is hard when you have 100s of "... Read more

Another good stay at the Kensington Forum, room was clean and comfy, service was excellent as usual but I still have an issue with the fact that they don't really care much about the high percentage of guests who are smokers including myself. I've been staying here for over 10 years but still, the outdoor smokers area hasn't changed. It's still dirty with empty cups, used napkins and cigarettes all over the tables and floor. Even though it's outdoors, management should still treat it as part o... Read more

This is a large busy hotel not far from Gloucester Road tube station. There are plenty of amenities nearby, such as bars, restaurants, and shops (a large Waitrose and a Boots nearby). The rooms are a little dated on the face of it, which shows itself particularly in the bathrooms. However, although the style is dated our room looked almost freshly painted, the fixtures didn't show excessive wear, and everything seemed nice and clean - so no worries there. The rooms have the usual tea and coffe... Read more

Stayed at this hotel as convenient for Albert Hall. Easy access from London underground.. Found foyer a bit unwelcoming, but reception was good and we were quickly checked in and directed to our rooms. Room ok,but pretty basic. As IHG cardholders we usually are upgraded. This was not the case. In all other Holiday Inns we usually have bottled water and chocolate. Service in the in house Starbucks was indifferent, and slow. Nearly walked out after long wait for sandwiches. The service in the ... Read more

Was visiting London on a Group break and booked to stay in the Holiday Inn. When we arrived, there was only 8 rooms on the booking instead of 18. After hanging around in Reception for over an hour, and our Coach driver verifying with his company that paperwork was all in order, it was obvious that the Hotels admin were at fault. Duty manager most unhelpful but in the end miracously found another 10 rooms but only for one night. For the next night we were supposed to check into the hotel across t... Read more

Stayed in an accessible room which had a large bathroom with plenty of rails, including a hoist rail, but although the bath was low it was difficult to get out of!! There was also a window that opened - a bonus. The room itself was dark and I suspect it would be even darker in the Summer as the huge tree outside was leafless. However, as a accesibile room the bed was only a double one and for a person living with a disability, as my husband does, it was constricting. A king sized bed, as is us... Read more

This hotel is just a 2 minute walk from Gloucester Road tube but that's not immediately obvious on google maps. Big hotel with great staff offering a high standard of service. I stay here regularly and have never been let down

Good location, close to underground. Huge hotel and breakfast was chaotic, why seat guests at tables not ready , but walked past tables already set. Breakfast itself was good We were in an executive room but it was very small......sliding door on the bathroom. Water pressure from the shower wasn't great. Have stayed in lots of hotels in London and the only plus for this is it's location

Enjoyable stay at the HI Kensington Forum, my favorite location when in London. Good value for money, rooms are OK and the restaurant serves a decent meal. Very friendly staff. There is an additional charge for high floor rooms, but the view is more than worth it.

Great location in Kensington. Hotel rooms/floors are clean, albeit a bit dated. Staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast is a large buffet with lots of choices. Hotel is walking distance from Underground and Hop-on/hop-off stops. Good selection of restaurants within walking distance. Walking distance to Hyde Park and museums.

I only stayed at this Hotel for 1 Night, whilst the Building itself is impressive, big and has a Feel of Luxury when you enter the Hotel. The Room was ok but nothing special, Bathroom is too small and the included FREE Internet they advertise is slow, so one that wants to get work done on the Internet, wants to watch a Movie or Youtube Videos has to purchase High Speed Internet. The Highspeed Internet Charges, even when you are a Member are very much overpriced, simple Rip Off if you ask me. I... Read more

Stayed 2 nights late November with daughter to go to Albert Hall. We had twin room which was pretty cramped - doubt my husband would have felt happy if he had been with me. Disliked intensely the sliding door to bathroom. Sorry - prefer more privacy than that offered, especially as it was so heavy I could hardly move it. Staff were polite and friendly and concerned when I had a fall (my fault) in the restaurant. I felt the lack of information - no facilities info in bedroom, and if it was on th... Read more

the stay was okay, fairly steep for the quality. however the biggest issue is with their front desk, where on checking in, they block some money on your card, which I was told will be reversed immediately on checkout. its been 2 weeks and multiple follow ups on social media, and emails however still not got the refund. very poor experience due to this. and hope they are able to sort this out for all future customers.

this hotel was located near the Gloucester underground stop and was a great location for everything we did in London. The rooms were clean and quiet, if not luxurious. Their greatest asset is the concierge, Peter, who was amazingly helpful, knowledgeable and full of great ideas.

Having stayed here several times, because of being used to it, I had come to accept the below standard level of the hotel. However, this time it was just terrible for me to never want to stay here again. The bed and the bath had hair of the previous guest, the kettle for tea was extremely dirty and discouraged me from having tea. The chair was very uncomfortable and the toilet flush did not work. This hotel needs a major renovation very DESPERATELY. Never again. The breakfast room staff are ... Read more

If you book an executive room it will grant you access to the business lounge which offers snacks, light breakfast, drinks. It is good if you are busy with work all day and just need a snack/drink before you go back to your room, also it is a life saver if the breakfast queue is too long. The executive room has a Bluetooth speaker and good toiletries. Some are smaller than others.
