Have stayed here a few times when in the area with work. Overall I like the place, very convenient for Heathrow. Rooms are spacious and the hotel is quiet. The only thing I would have a gripe about it breakfast. Very average for a Holiday Inn. I would say it is more the standard of a HI Express. Never eaten any evening food there.

Reception staff were very warm and welcoming and our room was perfectly comfortable, though we experienced minor noise from the neighboring room and banging fire doors in the corridor outside. The restaurant has a limited menu for dinner, but some items were very good, especially the veggie stack portobello burger. The breakfast buffet was excellent. The hotel is served by the Hotel Hoppa, which provides convenient transportation to Heathrow Terminal 5.

Stayed here many times before, my favourite hotel in this area by a mile. Secure underground Car park, so you don't get rained on ( don't park under the overhead grates, but even if you do it's only your car that really gets wet). Great reception - staff are brilliant, nothing is too much trouble, they even charged my phone for me when I was stuck. Rooms are clean , quiet, comfortable and tidy. Restaurant - dinner food is good quality, service with a smile, never kept waiting too long, and... Read more

We stayed here before an early flight from T5. It is about 10 minutes from the terminal. The bus from the terminal only runs every 30 mins so there was a bit of a wait. You also have to pay for the bus, it's not a shuttle. The hotel itself was great. The checkin was swift and efficient. The rooms are really clean and freshly decorated and also a good size with a really comfortable bed! The bar and restaurant have a good range of food, again nicely decorated with a good atmosphere. Good location for Heathrow: suburban with little traffic, yet close to the airport. Secure underground parking (£10/night) or regular shuttle bus to the airport. Excellent exterior soundproofing. Although right under the flight path there was next to no discernible noise. Let down by the room doors, which must have been made from cardboard. You can hear the TV from the room across the corridor through two closed doors. Late night / early morning noise from other guests in the corridor the wors... Read more

Being so close to the airport I was extremely worried I would be woken by the planes but I wasn't. The room was very clean, the bed ridiculously comfortable and the black out blind ensured a perfect nights sleep. Staff very courteous and breakfast was very good. On leaving the hotel I was at Terminal 5 in five minutes with no traffic. Highly recommended if leaving early from Heathrow Terminal 5!

Stayed here on a number of occasions however never eaten before in the hotel. So after a reasonable meal was disappointed to have an optional service charge added to the bill. There was no mention of this on the menu. Whilst I accept it was optional, had I known beforehand I may have gone to the pub across the road, as I had done on the previous evening. Otherwise very nice hotel, quiet and was well looked after.

I happened to stay here since my flight was delayed and I missed a connecting flight. Staff was very friendly and sympathetic with my ordeal and were happy to help. They arranged for my wake up call as well as for a taxi to the airport and when the taxi driver was late, they rang him again to ensure he was on his way.

You can tell that this hotel is new. The rooms are immaculately presented and very comfortable. My wife actually said that it was the best comfortable bed she had ever slept in! This hotel is directly over the flight path, not that you would notice. Perfect for any overnight stay before flying from T5. We had free use of the car park in the package and was great value paired up in a package with purple parkings meet and great service. Couldn't recommend job highly enough.

Quick transfer to/from LHR Term 5 via Hoopa Hotel Shuttle ($). An average Holiday Inn Property which has been re-branded from another Hotel Chain. Rooms are OK size by UK/Europe standards. Bathroom in my room showed no signs of renewal. What may have been a very nice when first built, but really shows it age now. Tub/shower is elevated and tricky to get in and out. This is I understand is a recent acquisition by holiday inn previously being owned by another chain. It has been clearly spruced up and refurbished before opening as a holiday inn. Easy to find and nice welcome, but this feels very much a low cost hotel and after 3pm not a quiet hotel. It's easy to get to / from the hotel using lower cost public transport rather than than Hoppa (£1.50 vs £4.50) using 81 and 75 buses. Google Maps suggested the journey would take 21 minutes but the first bus was late, missing the second, so I'd allow 45-60 minutes. The room here has soap, shampoo and conditioner and that's it. Stayed there on way to usa. It is named as T5 hotel, but it is not right on T5, takes about 15 GBP for taxi. They have shuttle bus service too. Rooms are spacious, needs some improvements, and somehow could not find charger plugs at table level anywhere in the room. As per my experience, other holiday inns offer more options for hot items in breakfast. Room rates are quite affordable, so not a bad option for short stay at T5.

I just checked out of here this morning. As my stay here was sandwiched between two long days of traveling, I looked forward to a restful, easy, stress-free stay. In fact, this is why I booked a hotel near Heathrow and not central London in the first place - to make things easy after and before a long trip. I stayed one night- to catch up with friends enroute. It's easily accessible from Heathrow, and the staff were excellent. The restaurant was reasonable, though basic for dinner and breakfast. The rooms were comfortable, with old fashioned decor. The excellent triple glazing kept the noise out , and made for a good night's sleep. The hotel is handy for Heathrow and Windsor. As hotels go, it was okay. The staff were cheerful, helpful and courteous. The room was very clean. Tea and coffee provision in the room was minimal with no biscuits. The bed was okay, but not as comfortable as a nearby chain. We decided to eat out as the menu was not appealing on the day, so we cannot say how good the dining facilities were, but there is at least one very good restaurant/pub nearby.

Very friendly staff and professional service - nice and clean rooms. But make sure u have cash 9 pounds on you as you need to take a coach to get there. Allin all a place where nothing gies wrong. You will be satisfied

Flying from T5 so needed a room the night before. Shuttle bus is £9 rtn to terminal every 30 mins, xx11 and xx41 from hotel currently. Room experience was good and fine for me or a couple. Very clean and looks like new. Security on lifts and staff very good. What's not to like. Will be back again.

This was my first visit here and pleased with some aspects but not with others. I used to use the Holiday Inn on Bath Road opposite T3 and found this a good hotel. The T5 hotel is much smaller and it shows. However on the up side, getting to T5 takes far less time, which is one of the reasons I chose it. The food was ok but must admit the portions seemed small, but perfectly edible. The restaurant is very small and poky but the choice of breakfast was fine.overall I will use it again.

No curtains on the window, only a flimsy wooden blind which come early morning allows a lot of light into the room. Overall I would not stay again - sleep quality impacted too heavily by temperature ... Read more

Dorota was brilliant. When I arrived she first asked "how was your trip?" It is those little things that do it. All the rest of the service was very good as well. Restaurant has a very good curry, bar has a good Guinness and is not expensive. I definitely recommend this hotel. CVS
